scale multiple objects with front panel

I have so many objects in the front panel. But I want only to certain items on the scale (IE need to keep the size of the button as it is). When I am trying to select the "Object of scale with the pane" option for each objects, it is available only for a single object. This option does not appear after that. Is there another way to do this?

  • Scale multiple objects, with the Center as a reference point, without moving the Group

    Hello-

I want to scale multiple objects, their Center, without moving the group. I found how to change the objects of the Centre (setting of the reference point in the transformation to the Center and using the free transform tool Panel), but I would choose a bunch of objects and move towards the top of the Center, without the group get larger.

I want to use it for the highlights on the plans. Say I have 25 small circles with numbers in them on the plan and I want to blow up to 200%, but I want to stay in the same place, is it possible to do both? Or do I have to re - intensify each object individually? The problem that I am running is even if I'm upgrading the scale objects from the Center, the moving objects and losing their place on the map. So, I made each of them individually.

    Thanks for any help!

Not quite what you want, but if you make one, you can select the rest and the object > transform again > transform again individually.

  • Double-click the object of front panel to find the terminal block diagram

Hello world. I don't know why, if I double click on an object to front panel, labview opens the front tab customize, instead of finding control in block diagrams, which would be the normal behavior, as I read in http://labviewwiki.org/Tips_and_tricks#Debugging.

I tried to reset the initial Setup by renaming the file LabVIEW.ini, but it doesn't seem to work.

Do you know how double-click the object on the front panel and locate the?

    Thanks in advance!

    Guille.

Did you restart LabVIEW after you rename the file labview.ini?

There is an option (Tools... options...... general façade... 'Open the editor control with double click').

It always seems to be set in your case.

  • Copy-paste an object of front panel to the same xy location

    Hello

Just a practical question, but I would need very often this kind of functionality:

How can I copy - paste an object of front panel to the same location? Lets consider the I have a TAB container, and on the first page, I have a chart. I would like to make a graph even on the second page tab, but at the same XY location compared to the TAB container.

    Thank you very much!

HM, I just realized, there is an option 'double page' for the TAB containers and it's magic for me, creates the exact copy of all the objects

Is it possible to scale an object with a grain effect?

It seems that verification "traits of the scale and effects" does not work for the grain. Image intensification leaves grain much more delicate and smoother. Any ideas?

  • The scale of the objects in front panel for different screen sizes

    Hello

Can someone help me Vi design for different screen sizes. I designed a VI to a small monitor and a lower resolution, but when I open the Vi even on another monitor, objects are not aligned correctly. The properties that I have changed are

    Appearance of window-> by default

Size of the window-> screen size 0.0 & Tick marked options to keep proportions for monitors different and all the objects on the scale

Position of the window Run Time-> Maximum

    Concerning

    Imran

Yep, the minimum size of the value, and then drag the window to be the smallest size allowed, then turn off "allows the user to resize the window.

  • Objects overlapping front panel

I understand that of the controls on the Panel before which overlap (Boolean, numeric values, plots, etc.) will result in a significant update penalty.  What about using the tab structures or decorations of the palette of modern/classic (as raised block, recessed, framework, things like that)?  This will result in a penalty of time processor?

    Natan,

A stack of objects will cause a drop in performance.  Now, depending on your program, it may not be a big problem.  I did a bit of work with this several years ago, so I guess that not much (basics, at least) has changed.

LabVIEW basically pulls up and down, so everything you have stacked, the substantive element emerges, then the one above, etc..  Although I don't know about you, I hope that this happens in the control as well.  For example, a digital control has several layers to it.

When I did all my work, I saw a huge success on performace of stacking.  The test was 03:30 by th UI, I created.  If I display the user interface at all, I hit more than 45 seconds off the test.  Simnplifying the user interface, I believe that I have knocked off about 30 seconds.

What I found also, is that the quality of your graphics chip has important effects.  I was testing with the second model of the PXI controller (maybe 12 years ago), I was able to outperm the PXI controller with a low-end PC using MXI because he had a dedicated graphics card that manages the user interface updates much faster than the PXI controller.

  • Is it possible to scale multiple objects at the same time?

I'm trying to select and scale of the three objects (imported PSD files) at the same time. It seems that he dimensionnera only one at a time (i.e., two of the selected objects do not change, while the other doesn't). Is there something that I am on, or is just really deficient Captivate in this area?

If not, is there anywhere that you can manually enter a percentage of the scale? I want that all objects at scale to stay the same size in proportion to one another.

I wanted to ask you: what is your workflow?

When I select several objects and change the width (or height) in the accordion of transformation (percentages are not available, and I regret it as well), the objects will all be rescale but also move because it's really the surrounding area is resized. This is perhaps what you mean? And some items cannot be resized below certain limits (text captions are an example).

You say "imported PSD files", I hope that you realize that each layer, or flattened image are converted to PNG. I guess you have CC? You can also use the round tripping with the PS?

  • To find screws with front panels open to a project!

How do you find the screws with facades open, which were launched from within a project?

    (See attached image).

Maybe it's something you could do. In the path of project control, use a path to the project that you want to test against. Within the loop, make sure to transfer the reference of the VI primitive Open reference applications.

Within the loop, it tests only whether the FP Panel is open. This means that the output array could end up with including ctl/Globals/Broken screws also. If you want to filter those out, you could add another VI as VIType property to test whether the item is something you want to include.

    I hope that helps!

  • Scale object with Panel programmatically?

Is there a way to activate the 'Object of scale with Panel' property of an object to front panel by programming?  It doesn't seem to be possible, but I wanted to check before you give up and do a hack to find a different solution.

I think that the component "scaling" method will work for you.

  • How to save a picture of object front panel with the color depth?

When I use the Invoke node method to get the image of an object to front panel, then save it as a bmp or png, I seem to lose the color depth. What should I do to register programmatically façade objects with the same number of colors as they appear on the screen?

    I'm using LabView 2011 11.0

You have an entry in the Invoke node called Image depth.  You wired a 8 for her.  Why?  Doesn't mean that you capture an image at a depth of only 8-bit rather weak image?

  • Connecting the node property programmatically to objects in front?

When I right click on a property node, I see the option to connect to any object of front panel.

Is it possible by programming? I create three charts XY and I want to know if I can control

the color of terrain for all three charts XY with creating ONLY a property node (color graphics) and placing it inside a loop for

and for each iteration of the loop for example, linking the property node to different XY graphs.

    See the image.

    Hello

what you can do is to select the option 'disconnect control' when right clicking on the property node (it becomes a generic property node to pass a command reference XYGraph), place this property node in a loop for, before the loop, build an array containing references to your 3 XYGaphs (right click on each XYGraph > create > reference).

    Hope this helps

  • NEED HELP FAST - façade freezes when I run my program. I have all the events to the interaction of the façade. I don't have a chance to launch an event that I can't even click on anything whatsoever on the front panel?

    All,

I'm pragmatic disabling most of the façade with a particular event. This freeze happened when I launched this event and then stopped the program in the middle of the event. While the program has been frozen at all times no matter how many times I turned on my computer and turned off and restarted labview. I tried with pragmatism, allowing some of these objects on the front façade of the loop of events without result. What else could it be? When I select the program stops at the structure of the event and is waiting for him. When I have a finite number of thread for the time terminal timeout the timeout event runs and then waits for the structure of the event and I'm still not allowed to do anything.

    Aaron

    Yenkip,

OK, the moral of the story when programmatically disabling an object to front panel make sure you have the code that allows very early in the program, changing constantly in the middle of the program changes its active status. I tried enabling some of these objects, but not all. When I tried allowing each of them, I realized that everything in the deactivation of the tab control tab control disables not only the ability to change the tab control. IT WASN'T THE STRUCTURE OF THE EVENT. The guys help OR on the phone told me that the structure of the event was obviously the question. I'm fine now.

    Thank you

    Aaron

  • Where is the documentation on front panel objects?

This might be a stupid question, but is it helps on objects of façade? For example, on the front panel, I chose

    Modern-> list, table & tree-> Listbox.

Now, I typed the letters A, B, C in the list box and right click on the node of the list box on the block diagram and witness of the. Of course, he showed the list again.

I noticed that the wire was a blue line "BOLD". I wired then that a for loop with indexing turned on, and this time I ran inside the loop, I created a new indicator

the VI and inside the for loop through the indicator, I saw a number, which was the index of the last item selected in the Listbox.

Well, if you're wondering where I'm going with this, here's my question: How do we find out (where is the documentation) that tells a user of the blue line "BOLD" on a Listbox

carries information on the entries in the list box, as well as the index of a selected item? I mean there are a lot of other façade objects that do have not any help documentation.

What a person to learn on items in the front? On the block diagram, I can mouse over, press Ctrl-H and click on detailed, help but cannot do anything on the front panel objects.
