ScanScanp ix500 blue light flashing, does not

I use a ScanSnap ix500 on a Windows 7 Enterprise environment. I had previously used the ScanSnap on another computer without any problem, and it does not work on the new computer.

1. the computer identifies ScanSnap. The icon is blue and says "Ready to Scan.

2. place a piece of paper and it scans about 1/8 of the page before stop - blue flashes for about 1 minute, then a message appears:

I chose to continue the analysis and it hangs on the screen for 1 minute or more:

And then he made the previous message again.

Some troubleshooting I've already done:

-uninstalled and reinstalled the software

-restart the computer

-connected as a different user and I tried the scanner

-l' computer plugged into a different electrical outlet

We were able to try the ScanSnap on another computer - he worked on two separate computers. It is therefore something with this particular computer.

Make sure that the printer power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet and that the power switch is turned on. If you print to a shared printer, or a printer on a network, make sure that all necessary computers and routers are turned on too. If your printer or other equipment is plugged into a surge protector or a backup power supply, make sure that the equipment is connected and turned on as well.

I would like to know some information:

  1. Your PC is connected to a private network or a domain?

  2. You did changes to the hardware/software before this problem?

    You said that it is fine if you disconnect and reconnect. Check the Power Options in the Control Panel, check all power with care settings.     I first try a hard reset, just take out your battery for about 5 seconds and could again. Usually, which solves a lot of problems. If it is still on, it may be a software problem, but is not certain.

    When the blue light is solid while the printer is on the wireless network.

    When it flashes, then the printer is not setup on the wireless network.

    If you have not already could you try to disable safe_mode of the Flash plugin. This implies the creation or modification of a parameter file. The following/posts pages provide different ways to do this:

    I know I have only little technical knowledge, but I have tried to figure this out for a few days and do not know what is happening. The only thing I can think is that I somewhere files corrupted causing this problem. I have just updated to Windows 8.1 tonight in the hope that can help, but nothing helped. I would be very disappointing if I couldn't use FF or must go back using Chrome and FF.

    Welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting, but sharper which is not the purpose of this forum.

    Related software RealPlayer and Flashplayer have had problems in the past and we documented it. I don't know if, at the moment updated to current versions of Realplayer also solve the problem. In addition, Windows > = Vista disabling protected mode of the Flash Player can be a workaround.

    It worked for me to get stuff flash shockwave works again.

    Edit: shockwave flash worked perfectly for me with my old together until I updated to 13, so it is certainly the issue of Mozilla, and after finding this solution, I'm sure of it.

    I understand that the laptop is connected to the wireless network. It is quite well turn off the wireless feature. Follow the steps and check them out below:

    • In the printer control panel, press on icon (Wireless). Wireless summary appears.
    • Touch icon (settings) and then touch wireless settings.
    • In the wireless settings screen, select "Disabled" for the wireless option.
