  I think you want to lock the page with the scroll position as user must click on links of anchor for scrolling to the bottom of the page.

  In the Muse, we can't block scrolling to a specific position on the page, but you can try to use a custom for this purpose code.

• How to play a specific scroll position a symbol ONCE?

  I was wondering if it is possible to trigger a symbol to play when a user scrolls past a point of scrolling specific only once?

  I managed to create a trigger for a symbol that fires at a specific scroll position, but he fires several times (when the user continues to scroll)

  I tried to use:

  Sounds like what you want to do is to save the State somehow.  You can use a variable - in your code here:

  First of all, in your compositionReady:

• Scroll position of setting for the ScrollPane AS3?

  I have a series of images, each with its own instance of a scrollPane component called actionText. When you navigate from image to image, I want the vertical scroll position of actionText to return to 0. For some reason, these separate instances of the component are coming into positions of scrolling on the other, for example, if I scrolling to 50% in a frame, jump to a new framework with a new instance of actionText, this new instance starts at 50%, not 0.

  I should be able to define the position of ScrollBar in actionText.vPostion = 0 but I get "vPosition is undefined object actionText property" anyone know what I'm doing wrong? You can see an example of what I'm going to talk to the following link. Roll is the 'star one' or 'two stars' tabs "any follow-up action", scroll down (actually a PDF converted to swf format), and select navigate to another measure tracking new scrollPane not not by default 0. Only the stars 1 and 2 are coded.

  ScrollPanes isn't a property vPosition (that I can find).  They have not verticalScrollPosition property, which may be what you set.  I don't use them, so I can't say for sure if it is the property that you need to address.

  When you have instances of the same object in adjacent frames, Flash has a way to transfer the properties from one to the other.  If you can separate them with a blank framework, then you probably don't have the problem.

• Position control text string bug

  Hello again all you posters useful forum!

  I have a strange bug for a control of the chain.  A sort of property has been set which causes the text it displays justified right as usual until what you press a button in the control.  Then the text jumps around 3 characters to the left.  By clicking on the right side of the new end text positions the cursor at the end of the text.  If I save the VI, the text jumps to the right.  Weirder yet, if I just hide the front panel of the VI with another window, when I discovered the text is on the right side once again.

  When I click in the text box with the mouse to position the cursor, the text does not move, but the cursor will only insert inbetween where the characters go when they jump to the left, where they are currently.  This highlighted the same behavior (see screenshot where I double-clicked in the control to highlight all of the text).

  I copy / pasted this control channel in a new VI with no logic, and it behaves in the same way.  So I guess it's a kind of property that I put at some point, but I can't understand it so I can stop doing it in the future (which is also the reason why I'm not only replace my order with another control of the chain and move - I don't want a new to get damaged in the same way).  I have attached the new VI for your reference.

  Control is updated the value that I type, and in my original VI (which I can't post, unfortunately), I have two cases of the event who get its updates of the value.  We seek a change in the value of this control, check if it is more than 12 characters and if yes what bands more than 12 characters and then it passes through the VI uppercase in and assigns the resulting string in the control.  The other looks for a value change parent of the control cluster, then takes the control reference that result and goes to a VI record KeyFocus and TextSelection property values, defines "BOLD", the blue police false KeyFocus, changes, then sets the KeyFocus and TextSelection values (in that order).   I have to take off bold KeyFocus, I discovered.

  Any suggestions as to what may be the cause of this would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  I bet that the text is right-justified.  Select the text, go to the menu drop-down font, select the option justify-> left and see what happens.

  Edit: interesting.  Out, tried changing the left justification and then right again seemed to fix it.

  Something like this can be a way to synchronize the scrollTop with the current position. Try the following code in your manager prior to the rest of your code:

  You may need to change the code a bit because I have not really tested. However looking at the overall throughput of code into your site, I feel that it is perhaps one of those places where you can easily synchronize the top of scrolling with the current position.

  With the release of flex 4.6, it seems that the mobile version of the wheel has been optimized. Now the wheel differs from creation of the scroll bar until the user interacts with scrolling... That all sounds good performance wise, faster page creation etc...

  But if I want to return to the position of the wheel before the user has interacted with the subject, IE to access particular viewpoint before you start to scroll, I don't know what to do. Initially I would have something like... myScroller.horizontalScrollBar.value = 100... but courses myScroller.horizontalScrollBar now has the value null.

  Am I missing something - y at - it another way.

  I have a program that writes a new value to a chart of every minute.  (The x axis is time).  I show the last weeks of a data value in the graph, but I also axis scroll bar visible so that users can scroll back to see the previous weeks.  The problem is that if they have scrolls in a few weeks and the graphical update of one minute that happens, the graph jumps at the present time (week last of the watch).  Is it possible to have the table simply stay put even when when a new value is written for her?

  I believe you can use the property of 'Reporter Panel updated' to achieve this.  Set the property to TRUE on a mouse of the user enter event of the chart in order to prevent the update of the table while the user moves the scroll.  Set it to false on mouse leave. I tried the same thing with a mouse to the bottom/mouse event, but it does not behave as expected.  You can PLAY autour with different events to see what works the best, but this basic technique should work.  Take a look at the attached screenshot for details.
