Flex 4.6 Mobile Scrollbar optimization prevents the scroll position layout?

Hi all

With the release of flex 4.6, it seems that the mobile version of the wheel has been optimized. Now the wheel differs from creation of the scroll bar until the user interacts with scrolling... That all sounds good performance wise, faster page creation etc...

But if I want to return to the position of the wheel before the user has interacted with the subject, IE to access particular viewpoint before you start to scroll, I don't know what to do. Initially I would have something like... myScroller.horizontalScrollBar.value = 100... but courses myScroller.horizontalScrollBar now has the value null.

Am I missing something - y at - it another way.

J

OK found a work around...

I extended the scroller class and added a few features such as...

public function scrollerCreateHScrollBar (): void

{

If (! this.horizontalScrollBar & this.horizontalScrollBarFactory)

{

this.horizontalScrollBar = HScrollBar (this.createDynamicPartInstance ("horizontalScrollBarFactory"));

Group (this.) Skin). AddElement (this.horizontalScrollBar);

partAdded ("horizontalScrollBar", this.horizontalScrollBar);

}

}

then called to create bars of the amine, when I want to that they...

Hurra.

  • in writing the new value to the table, do not change the scroll position

    I have a program that writes a new value to a chart of every minute.  (The x axis is time).  I show the last weeks of a data value in the graph, but I also axis scroll bar visible so that users can scroll back to see the previous weeks.  The problem is that if they have scrolls in a few weeks and the graphical update of one minute that happens, the graph jumps at the present time (week last of the watch).  Is it possible to have the table simply stay put even when when a new value is written for her?

    John,

    I believe you can use the property of 'Reporter Panel updated' to achieve this.  Set the property to TRUE on a mouse of the user enter event of the chart in order to prevent the update of the table while the user moves the scroll.  Set it to false on mouse leave. I tried the same thing with a mouse to the bottom/mouse event, but it does not behave as expected.  You can PLAY autour with different events to see what works the best, but this basic technique should work.  Take a look at the attached screenshot for details.

  • Possible to prevent the mobile site to show when the Office?

    I am building a website for one of my clients and it has a different design between the mobile and desktop versions. The mobile version uses different pages, and the desktop version is a design of a page. The problem I have right now is that I don't know if I can limit or prevent the Web site layout to change when I resize the width of the browser. I like to keep the desktop version of the Web site, even if the browser is resized. Before the sensitive update, it was possible to create three 'version' of the same site, and once the site is responsible for a mobile device, did not (unless you add a link) to load the desktop version and vice versa. Now, with how can the sensitive update, I avoid the desktop version to upgrade to the mobile version when the browser is resized? Any idea?

    Thank you!

    You need not use all or part of the breakpoints in this version of office. Just keep at least big enough set Property Page .

  • Mobile IconItemRenderer - prevent the spread of the events

    Hello

    I don't want anything to be taken when an item is clicked or touched in a mobile itemRenderer that extends from IconItemRenderer.

    The drawBackground method override Isteand and do not to listen to the event of change, is anyway to do it faster, as preventing the propagation of the event?

    Thank you.

    You should be able to set mouseEnabled/mouseChildren false on the rendering engine, or call preventDefault() on the mouseDown event.

  • Prevent the user from uninstalling the application

    Hi friends I want to prevent the user from uninstalling the application on my mobile phone blackberry if I give how do I do it and how to fix this inaccessblity thanks to programming, I mean putting prevention in the form of mobile etc.

    BES policies can ensure that an application is not deleted.  Sorry should have mentioned that.

    Installation of OS 5, I've mentioned is:

    CodeModuleListener

    This will get called when a module is removed or marked for deletion.  Code here could probably try to download and re - install an application removed, however, it is a signed interface, so I'm sure that RIM could quickly find developers who have tried to use this interface for dubious means.

    You are however correct Ted, because it won't stop someone wiping their Blackberry.  In addition, if you remove the application that would be re - install itself, then it's history anyway.

    I think that the advantages of using this method to tidy, after a deletion (for example delete associated files on the SD card) makes a worthwhile addition to the API.

  • Adobe InDesign - content overlay Web - prevent the spread of events Scroll

    I have an InDesign magazine that contains a Web Content Overlay (pointing to a responsive website). Everything works fine apart from when it comes to scrolling.

    I run the magazine from an iPad via Adobe Viewer. Is not only the scrolling vertical (up and down) is necessary, horizontal.

    Problem

    When user left or right moves, changing page of the magazine and web content firm.

    Question

    Is it possible that I can stop the scroll events from spreading until the magazine of the overlay of web content? Preferably, it would happen on the web content itself (for example using JavaScript) as it would mean only, I need to change in one place, rather than on each page, the web content.

    Attempted

    Captures the touchmove on the body of the page and calling stopPropagation() on that event.

    Call preventDefault() on the event (this prevents any scrolling at all).

    With the help of pageX touchmove events and call preventDefault() all those who seem to be horizontal scans (too unreliable).

    With the help of CSS overflow-x: hidden

    jQuery scroll personalized Mobile events.

    A little addition to combinations of the above.

    Found a solution. First, insert a ' ' tag 'window' in the head:

    Note that I've set a static width of '701', it's important. Width of the overlay of web content is "700px". Set a width of "701" means that the page can move very slightly. This agitation means that the left/right scan is taken and not percolated to InDesign. There is a slight delay (of a pixel) if they drag, but it's minor compared to the new page.

    Then add the following in your page CSS:

    . Happy {}

    -webkit-too-full-scrolling: touch

    }

    You should not have this CSS, but it was necessary for us.

  • How to prevent the opening of the popup submenu of mx:MenuBar during its events mouseOver/rollOver?

    I'm using a component mx:MenuBar with the xml data to a menu. The basic behavior as I see is, first by clicking on the top level menu item (IE on the horizontal bar), pop-up windows submenu opens. Then without clicking anywhere, if I have the mouse on / roll on the horizontal menu bar, the pop-up menus under other top level menus opens.

    This behavior seems to be incompatible. The pop-up submenus should open either on click any element of top-level menu (menu bar horizontally) or only on mouse over / roll of the menu bar.

    I want the pop-up submenus to open only when the click on the top-level menu (menu bar horizontally). So I added event handlers for the passage of the mouse as well as the rollOver events (I don't know which event gets actually produced on hovering over the menu bar horizontally). In the case of managers, I called the Event.preventDefault () method to prevent the default behavior (ie the opening of pop-up submenus).  But nothing works. I felt like I have no control over it.

    How to remove the default behavior and open the pop-up submenus only on the click event of the menu bar?

    Bar menus with no user action:

    1.JPG

    Menu after clicking the 'Flex ': menu bar

  • How can I get rid of the right scrollbar being all the time?

    Using Firefox on Windows 8, a Web page that contains a frame that has a long text that it displays a white scroll bar. The same page does not display the scroll bar when using Firefox on Mac. I tried a number of things inclucing enter topic: config before turning off the always show scrollbars entry but nothing seems to work. In other browsers I've tested no scroll bar is still present on this Web page. Does anyone know of a way I can have this scroll bar does not appear except when the text is scrolled? Thanks in advance.

    Two thoughts:

    (1) later or maybe the last two versions of Mac OS X have a feature at the level of the system that fades the scroll bars if you don't use them and then show them while you are scrolling, or something in that sense. We had complaints about it here from time to time.

    (2) Firefox does not allow to color scrollbars, as some other browsers for other browsers may have a transparent bar that corresponds to the background, but Firefox will use the default color and widgets associated with your theme, regardless of what tells the site.

    Any other browser on Windows also shows a scroll bar (attached screenshot).
