search form Web apps: how to retrieve the value of the data-source type field

My question is:

How can I retrieve the value of the source field of a web - app data-types when you insert the "form web search apps" on a web page.

I have a web application that contains fields from the data source of the type. These fields to recover the (data) value of the 'web app' - 'elements of the field' field of another web application.

When I insert the form

Web apps

Web apps-search form

Name of the Web application

It displays the fields with the field (ie. string, number) types other than type of field 'data source '.

(Note: in the mode 'model of list' module of data tags, the fields of the data source are visible).

What other (alternative) possibilities are there to create a search form?

By chance, I came up with this workaround. Of course there are other methods to get your data from a web - app, but if you want to use the 'Web apps search form', it would be a workaround.

I noticed that the "Web apps entry form" contains all the fields of web applications for your web application (including the fields of the data source).

It is possible to add the fields to the form of the "Web apps entry form" in the «Web apps search form»

If you insert the "Web apps entry form" on a blank page, you will see all the fields in your web App including the "data source fields. The names of form fields contain something like.

How to bind the data source to a custom class?

I use the chart control to draw two types of plots. One is a path of spectrum which refreshes all samples in a short time, and the other is a curve of time series which add than one sample of each time. A chartcollection was related to the data source, however, and draw the spectrum seems to not cool off very quickly. Was it due to the propertychanged event? In order to improve the speed of response, what should I do to deal with the data source?

I went through your response and the help files and found I made a stupid mistake - I always used to Append method (double, double) and did not notice its format void Append (list, list).

Do you use a jdbc url or a jdbc data source?
Model project in you right click on the module of the application and select configuration. Change the configuration to use a jdbc data source.

I'm working on a data form. I took accounts in lines and period, year and scenario in my columns. The first pass is displayed correctly-> P #JAN. Y#@CUR. S #ACTUAL
But when I used the second col-> P #FEB. Y#@CUR. S #ACTUAL and save my data form. I can see the year and only col1 scenario dimension. Col2: Only FEB appears without year and scenario. How can I spread the year and the other columns scenario, rather than display only in col1. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
If you use the standard Web in the workspace form tool, you can bring up the form in edit mode, select the Details tab and there is an option "Repeat the headers", Just check the box and you should be good to go.

You can use the query directly in the customization of form as Conditions
Select date_probation_end in the per_assignments_x where person_id =: PERIOD_OF_SERVICE. PERSON_ID

and put in your state of health as if you want to post Probation date of end is less then sysdate then in State in as.

TRUNC (SYSDATE)< (select="" trunc(date_probation_end)="" from="" per_assignments_x="" where="" person_id="">
define the error message.

This means that when the box is checked for lines 1 and 3. Only the rows are in the table in the f01.

If you want to update all the lines to leave out the inner loop and instruction.

I don't see what you posted I have, this is the case, but it is not a good idea to mix apex_item and columns be updated regular.

I use MapViewer V11.1.1.7 B130111 delivered with BIEE.

On the management data source page, there are 4 buttons like refresh, edit, delete, and purge the cached metadata. No create"" button.

So, how can I create a new data source? I saw map_data_source article in mapViewerConfig.xml. Can I change the file for this?

The research of Web applications with fields of the Data Source that contains multiple values

I have a Web application with a field that allows multiple values to be recorded similar to the list box. I need limit the allowed values for a large, over the list of the values currently stored in another Web application as a data source. I can not apply to the type of Data Source field that allows only single value selection. I also need to be able to use the search form Web App to search for items containing 1 OR more of the values in this field (a type of list control field search functionality). Here's what I tried to field types:
- Text (String) or text (multi-line) field type - By saving a list of values separated by commas (outputs in the same way this list box) to an entry of text or textarea, the search only logic search exact string (including commas) and does not analyze individual values.
- Type of list (checkbox) field - it allows me to search for multiple values using the logic of the GOLD, but the web application stores only the values that have been entered as an option in the field settings real web app. I tried to use a checkbox with minimal or empty options list, hoping that some values I sent more separate by a comma value chain would be still stored, but because the values come from my Web App data source and not stored with the field options list, they were not saved.
Someone at - he found a way to do it?
My other question is how can I use a multivalued field to similar as described above but return results containing the elements with ALL the values of this field (AND logic).
Can someone enlighten me to the inner workings of the search BC logic web app?

You don't need to use the predefined boxes or types of entries. Everything you can represent as a string (such as the values separated by commas in your example) can be saved in any field of webapp. The types of fields defined in the Web application are only used to translate internal representation (all channels) to the various user-friendly interpretations (checkboxes, radios, dates, links, etc.)

what I do wrong to the data source?

Sorry, I looked around to try to find the answer to this, and I could not.
I have two web applications. One, 'Locations', has a list of addresses for several stores, with tags such as {location_street_address}, {location_phone_number}. Another web application, "StoreGallery", holds elements of demonstration to these stores, and in it I set places as a data source field. So that for each article, they can associate an element with a specific store.
In the details of StoreGallery template so I added one of the places tags, thinking by after you set the data source, the tags one could work in the other, but they do not. I was able to find tutorials on how to create the data source field, but not on how to actually apply them in models.

The current version of the web apps does not work like that.
When you define a data store that makes just provide a link to the other element of web app that you associate. You can't put tags that you built from a web app in another.

The release of data source which is a hypertext link is the only thing you have.

How can I turn off the answering machine on the editing forms web app?

I was able to easily find information on deactivation of autoresponders of web form, but it does not work on web applications. Can someone tell me how I would do the same thing with the editing forms web app?

You want the module module_webappsresults and use weightreverse if you want that. Weight intervenes automatically if added and overides alphabeical.
