Search spell checker and editing languges

I use WordPad to write a lot of things and I can't find a spell checker on it. I send to my windows mail as it is the only one to send to. I try to use the spelling after copy and paste in windows mail, and it says that I can't check spelling because I use the languge wrong to do. Although I was able to do, I can't find a way to return to WordPad. This is the second time I have asked these questions, because some time ago I have it called Notepad. Anyone know of a place on the 32-bit windows vista system which has something like WordPad that will allow me to print or send by e-mail?  I really need a way to write all kinds of notes, documents, letters that give me some different choices of fonts, letter size, color or even different areas I can be reached at * address email is removed from the privacy * please help me if you can. I put my email address because I'm not sure it will tell you how to contact me.  Thanks, Dave Smith

Hi lazarunumber2

WordPad has no spell check integrated into it. But since you need a large number of features Microsoft Office will be the best well suited to your needs. You can download a free trial here:

Check out this link to change the display language:

    Nobody knows anything about this; or how to fix this? I think it is ridiculous for the English language is no longer offered or supported for spell checking. Could be some kind of hack-job or malicious hacking?

    Easy fix.

  • Spell checker and em dash

    It seems strange that with framework, you can create an em dash (Alt + 0151), but the spell checker flags all words with an ear (and no space between, which is the typographically correct way) and errors. Is it possible to make the spell checker ignore cadratins of words (or pairs of words by an em dash) between the two?

    You have the Spell Checker Options to ignore explicitly the dash in words?

  • How to prevent the spell checker to automatically change the word I type?

    Hello

    I own a MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

    Processor: Intel Core i5 at 2.8 GHz
    Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    I was struggling with the spelling corrector assuming what I type is wrong and so it changes the word for another while I am always type, the result is that the mess this creates a bad word that will not be corrected because the editor already "fixed" it while "I screwed up".

    The fact is that I'm Brazilian, so my first language is Brazilian Portuguese, which uses a series of special characters such as to, a, a, a, e, e, i, o, o, o and c, Furthermore, we seem to have many more words in our vocabulary and verb time if compared to English. The corrector seems to get confused with that too, and some Word's closer to her I am writing.
    What seems to be the boss, is that in English, the feature is very useful, but when I type special characters, it assumes that this word should not be even with the input source for Brazilian Portuguese, which makes me wonder why I would fix it for my language if I have not noticed any difference at all. He gets it wrong in 90% of the time and a Word by a word it is delay my work and make me hate my computer.

    Please, don't you know any solution for this? Go to system preferences > keyboard > text and UN-checking the "correct spelling automatically" doesn't change anything, even after restarting the computer. It's stressing me out of having to correct this as the corrector mess every 5 minutes!

    Any ideas how to get rid of it?

    Thank you!

    even with the input source for Brazilian Portuguese

    The input source has nothing to do with spell checking and AutoCorrect.  Dictionary used for this defined under Edition > spelling and grammar > show spelling and grammar (or in the system preferences, keyboard, text, spelling).  For best results, use the dictionary for your language and not "automatic".

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Spell check questions

    Show on BB Bold 9700, OS v5.0.0.714

    Spell check questions: for example, when typing an e-mail, with spell check as you type on or off, it auto corrects the word 'hr' to 'hour' every time, despite having added your personal dictionary and spell checking settings editing to check the words only on 5 characters.

    In addition, he seems to ignore any spell check setting and the dictionary staff with other words, as well.

    Change time HR is not the spelling corrector. It is the AutoText. You can modify those, too. Simply go to Options, automatic insertion (5 OS - OS 6, just look for automatic insertion).

  • Spell checker not working in beta SDK 2.0.0?

    JohnPinkerton tried to get the features of spell check and AutoCorrect on the classes of qnx.fuse.ui.TextInputBase children, without success.  I tried to put together a quick example with the qnx.imf.SpellChecker class and the same thing: no error, but no sign of correction spelling feature at all. Expected events never happen.

    Anyone have any ideas if it actually works?  Two of us were building with AIR is 3.1 and tests on the version beta of OS 2.0.0.48xx on a real tablet.

    package {
        import flash.display.Sprite;
        import flash.display.StageAlign;
        import flash.display.StageScaleMode;
        import flash.utils.*;
        import mx.utils.ObjectUtil;

        import qnx.events.*;
        import qnx.imf.*;

        [SWF(backgroundColor="#cccccc")]
        public class SpellCheckTest extends Sprite {
            public var context:Object = {'test': 'this'};

            public function SpellCheckTest() {
                stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;
                stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

                var checker:SpellChecker = new SpellChecker();
                checker.addEventListener(SpellCheckEvent.SPELL_CHECK_DONE, onChecked);

                var word:String = 'suckaFish';
                checker.checkSpelling(word, context);
                trace('checking', word, 'in', ObjectUtil.toString(context));
            }

            public function onChecked(event:SpellCheckEvent):void {
                trace(event.type, 'checked', event.text);
                trace('context', ObjectUtil.toString(event.context));
                trace('errors', ObjectUtil.toString(event.errors));
            }
        }
    }

    (Useful only if you can see the output of the trace() commands, that is build with the debug mode and run the debugger during the test.)

    Spell checking must be enabled in the beta following, which will happen sometime in January. I don't have the exact dates yet but should be beginning in middle months.

  • Spell check does not work for me

    I don't know when this started happening exactly.  I just thought that my horrible spelling mistakes had disappeared... until a customer their level for me.  Oh!

    In any case, when I use spell check and click Start, it doesn't do anything.  Just as it would be when there is no spelling errors in a document.  I misspelled intentionally words to see if he could catch him and he did not.  I tried selecting the text item, then out check - does not work either.  I tried highlighting misspelled words and then start the spell checker - once again, did not work.

    The only real change I had is when I transferred all my data from one Mac to another.  Spell check works on original Mac, but does not work on Mac I transferred the data.  I had some small problems with that as well, but I solved these me.  It's just what left me speechless.

    Does anyone have any solutions for this?  I use Illustrator CS5.

    zyrobyte.

    I'm afraid that the solution is to reinstall. Transfer to a new computer or OS seems a middle course of boredom.

    It can be better, safer to reinstall using the way complete three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):

    (1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

    (2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,

    (3) reinstall.

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

    The cleaning tool works for all versions of CS3 on (you can see the top of the page).

    Here are the instructions for use, including individual applications:

  • Spell check language in the new Illustrator CC2015

    When I run spell checking in the new Illustrator CC2015, he wants to spelling based on the Estonian language rather than English. My language is defined as English, so I don't know how to fix this?

    He showed English: USA in the characters dialog box.

    A test, I changed to French and ran the spell check, and it showed errors in French. So I changed it and then back to English: USA and now it works fine. Your question has helped me to approach it from a different angle and it worked! Monika thanks so much!
