Secure deployment TMSXE
Hello
I need to design a deployment of TMSXE where the AD Exchange & are totally separate from TMS.
Is it necessary for the TMS Server talking to the AD or can I just connect the agent TMSXE from data to TMS on the video network network using 443?
Alternatively, if you can't help with the above, anyone seen a TMSXE deployment guide? Can we find an and I have looked all over the site of Cisco...
Thank you
Rohan
Hey Rohan
TMS/exchange servers can be located as much as as long as the TMSXE can visit 443 to the Exchange and the TMS server.

Import/export with the exception of security deployment manager
Hello
I'm getting following error, while trying to open the link export in Deployment Manager. (Browser: Firefox/IE/Chrome)
Missing required permissions appear in the main container:
http://Server1.com:14000/xlWebApp/ClientClassServlet/xlWebApp/detect.jar
I also tried this link but no help. Any help.
Thank you.
Find the java configuration and Security tab, click edit click and list of sites add button in pop.
Add http://server1.com:14000/xlWebApp/ClientClassServlet/xlWebApp/detect.jar in it.
Disconnect and reconnect in IOM and try again.

I have a 220 applications deployed in weblogic (10.3) with EJB & JSPX (model, view, controller) structure in jdeveloper (10.1.3.3)
Well well all applications have a diferent HttpSession (Adf)
How can I pass a parameter or variable to 220 aplications of the session or a branding throughout the app
Thax for all helpHello
(a) use query parameters
(b) as far as I understand WLS has an exclusive session sharing feature that you can activate
(c) use the uniwue users and use the database as a shared memory scope
(d) cookies temporary client-sideFrank

Secured using vSwitch DMZ VM deployment separate
Hi all
I install my ESXi host curent with 2 Teddy to secure deployment of production like the screenshot attached VM:
The reason is facilitate the backup over the network (Gigabit Ethernet connected to my LAN switch) while the actual virtual machine is connected to a network DMZ separate vSwitch and then the uplink is connected directly to the router for access to the world.
I wonder if this is the classic secure deployment that everyone uses?
Thank you
AWT
Hello
I do this with my DMZ, specifically, my vSwitch network management is not shared with my Production VM in a form any way. Virtual machines
are really "not reliable". DMZ VMs are majorly "unreliable."
With only 2 natachasery your "configuration" is interesting but is not yet what I want to do what you are missing out on redundancy. Don't could you use VLANS to dismiss this configuration you have 1 port GigE and 1 10 MB half-duplex port. The speed later would also be a problem. Looks like it is directly connected to your ISP connection. If so, I suggest alternatives. What I use is:

How to deploy ADF security active app in weblogic server
Hello
I activated the ADF security in my application and created some users and roles.
the application works fine in my integrated Weblogic Server.
Now when I deploy the application in autonomous WLS, Login is not successful there.
I've been following the thread:
11g ADF security: deploy to WebLogic 10.3.1
and created some user in the WLS console, but its does not work for me.
I use Jdeveloper11.1.1.4 & weblogic server 10.3.4
Please guide me to deploy my application to WLS with appropriate measures.
I have to migrate ADF security policies & If yes then how?
TIA,
VishalHello
From Jdeveloper11.1.1.3 you don't need to migrate to the stand-alone weblogic Server ADF security policies. Make sure that the default authentication in the field of the security provider has its indicator of control as 'sufficient' (default is 'required').
In Application--> Application--> deployment properties make sure that all the Security deployment options are enabled (crush strategies application and credentials, migrate users and groups). -

I managed to solve the problem of deployment by modifying the deployment under the Application properties configuration:
1. unselect Auto Generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml deployment descriptors
2 deselect the credentials under Security Deployment Options
3 deselect users and groups under deployment and Security Options
I think auto generation of weblogic deployment descriptor - jdbc.xml was most probably the origin of the problem.
Thank you.

accept guests of Java security in Firefox on non-persistent desktops view
Hi all
Here's our environment...
1. view 6.1
2. a pool Nopersistent offices Windows 7 Enterprise
3 Java 32 bits version 8 day 72
4 Firefox 34.0.5
Run us a Java Application (banner) and when you fire in Firefox it shows 2 application prompt, both applications are trusted publishers is not a matter of trust. Because they are non-persistent desktops that our end users bring each time that they restart it. Whats odd is that we have been able to ignore these warnings with IE using strategies of group two, one to be saved in the "trusted publishers" request certificates store and another to add the URL of the application to IE Trusted Sites. I'm not sure how to work around this problem in Firefox
I enable the Java Console and turned on a high level of forest exploitation, and when I got one of these application guests I clicked on the option "don't show this new editor applications and the location above. When I did that the Java console displays the following...
Security: the user granted the privileges to the code forever
Security: deployment of C:\Users\deptsfs\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security\trusted.certs loading certificates
Security: responsible for deployment from C:\Users\deptsfs\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security\trusted.certs certificates
Security: registration of certificates of deployment in C:\Users\deptsfs\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security\trusted.certs
Security: safe deployment in C:\Users\deptsfs\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security\trusted.certs certificates
I know I'm grabbing at straws here but y at - he called a way to manipulate the contents of the file "trusted.certs" to the user with a logon script via group policy so that Publisher/App/location is always approved?
Thank you
So... my grad last idea is to deploy the trusted.certs file in the default profile on your master image and test to see if this file is available in-house for new users. Do you know how to copy a user profile in the default user profile in Windows 7?

AD authentication environment VCSe, VCSC and TMS
Hello
We have VCSe, VCSC and TMS work with commissioning on the VCSC through TMS.
VCS, Version 6.1, 13.1 TMS
Movi (4.3) external Clients have registration with the VCSC. VCSe does proxy registration.
Users have been configured on the MSDS. There is still no configured AD authentication.
Everything works fine.
We now want to configure AD authentication.
There are several deployments to do, but for me, some of them are not so sure than others.
I need a top secure deployment.
I need ideas to make the deployment.
Thank you
Martin
Hi Martin,
I understand perfectly what you want, but I do not understand why. When you set a directory of provisioning in TMS to be integrated with AD, users are imported automatically according to the 'search string', that you are configuring. But passwords are not imported from AD, basic information only from users are imported. When any user try to connect, TMS challenge for authentication in real time.
For me it is not a problem, because the MSDS do not save passwords in its own database. Is this a problem for you? Why?
If you try to do it only because you want to limit which users are allowed to use the customer Movi, if your problem is the following, so you can solve it by using a 'search filter' in the configuration directory configuration, so that you afin que vous serez will be able to import only users who belong to a specific group, for example.
Please, explain to me why you want to do.

Install the ear of Console - cannot run the application.
JDeveloper 12 c 32bits.
I'm checking my ear is produced correctly by deploying the console of weblogic (which is really just the integrated environment).
The installation says it works great... but I can't launch the web page by using the same URL I used the deployment of Jdeveloper.
I was capable of that test applications with little (with security). But the Application that I just spent a month of work on is a failure!
Some features:
The ADF security is on. I have an application role, two users, and set up a same business role.
users are granted to the role of the company.
The role of the App is given to the role of the company
Each workflow task and web pages are granted to the role of an application.
WebLogic is configured with users and the role (which both correspond to users and the enterpise role in the security of the adf).
The screen 'set up the Security deployment.
Checked the weblogic application update. XML with the following parameters
Application enabled policies
Uncehcked credentials
Groups and users not controlled
Unchecked Auto generate and synchronize Weblogic JDBC descriptors during deployment
Can I deploy on Jdeveloper to Weblogic Server the Integrated and it works.
Connect the output: I get this when deploying Jdeveloper (it works) and when I install the ear to Weblogic (installation works, but I can not run the application).

I can deploy from Jdeveloper, but if I have a deployment on the built-in console (an ear file) of weblogic server, I can not run the application.
I get the wrong URL? It should be the same as the deployment of Jdeveloper on the integrated server.
Thank you
Stuart
This is the error
Error 404 - not found

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (refused) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through a configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address
Timo, Dario,
I finally got to work. I fiddled around so much with her, I don't know exactly what fixed - or a combination of two settings.
Thank you very much for your help!

issue by creating roles according to the jazn-data
jdev 11.1.1.7
In my application, I create roles in the jazn data files. When I run the application, the roles defined in the jazn file are not automatically created in the integrated weblogic.
Considering that I have different applications in the same workspace, when I run it, the roles defined in their jazn is created in the weblogic. I can see a "deployment" tab, which is created in the jdev console and can see the continuation of console.
[09: 42:07] download jazn-data users.
[09: 42:07] update user 'john '.
[09: 42:07] update user 'susan '.
[09: 42:07] update user "steve".
[09: 42:07] roles jazn-data download.
[09: 42:07] remove the group existing 'Wendy '.
[09: 42:07] group was created for the role of "Wendy".
[09: 42:07] adding 'susan' to the group 'Wendy '.
So what's the problem with my app that I am not able to see the roles are created in weblogic?
Hi Fabrice,.
Go to Applications - > Secure-> configure secure deployment
Make sure that the following is checked.
Redeploy your application using JDeveloper.

I have a created a test user and the required role assigned to the test user in the Cloud identity console. The test user is able to connect successfully, but after authentication redirect to the homepage does not occur.
so could suggest where I am wrong? I run the application locally and tested with server integrated weblogic application works as expected.
I think there is no problem with authentication since if I specify incorrect credentials, the application takes to error.html as expected.
I don't get how to redirect to the home page after authentication. can someone help me on this?
Thank you
Nassim
I don't know what the problem is in your configuration, I did a quick test and security seems to work fine for me. Action taken:
- In the console identity JCS
- create user test1 and test2
- create the test2Role and test1Role roles
- Create "Fusion Web Application".
- Create simple jspx page with nothing but a label release on it, access the page for the page definition create PageDef file
- Generate the security configuration by using "application-> Secure-> configure ADF security."
- The ADF security: choose "ADF Authentication and Authorization.
- Authentication type: "HTTPS authentication of the Client (Public Key Certificate)" that will be based on the JCS authentication mechanism
- Auto strategy grants: "no automatic grant."
- Welcome authenticated: accept the default values
- Navigate to the web.xml file
- Remove the existing constraint and add a new constaint with ' / * ' model
- Add a "Welcome" file to automatically navigate to the page in the web context root access
- Access the jazn-"Data.xml"
- Create the role of the application "test1Role".
- Create the user "test1" and to entrust the "test1Role."
- Give the page resource to the application role 'test1Role '.
- Deploy to JCS
With this configuration, the page is accessible with the "test1" user but trying to access "test2" get:
Error 401 - non authorized
Seems so its works very well. Don't know what is the matter with your configuration. For reference the key parts in my web.xml file contains:
faces/SecurityTest.jspx TestConstraint /* CLIENT-CERT and jazn-"Data.xml":
jazn.com Test1 Test1 {903} = CBA09WxYMg7guOpQEGHoMOVyjeKUh7Vu0e4I0Qs6elY SecurityTest2 test1Role oracle.security.jps.service.policystore.ApplicationRole test1Role test1Role Test1 oracle.security.jps.internal.core.principals.JpsXmlUserImpl test1Role oracle.security.jps.service.policystore.ApplicationRole oracle.adf.share.security.authorization.RegionPermission view.pageDefs.SecurityTestPageDef view --

Question of VLAN to control package mgt Nexus 1000v
In the documentation of 1000v of last year he suggested that package VSM and control data use different VLAN. However, in the last 2010 document Cisco now has:
«Cisco recommends to use the same VLAN for control, package and management, but you don't place data traffic on this VLAN.» Flexibility, you can configure separate VLANs. »
Cisco also provides "Although the management interface is not used to Exchange data between the MSM and VEM, it is used to establish and maintain the connection between the MSM and VMware VirtualCenter Server".
In a 'high security' deployment of the 1000v, I'm not quite clear what would look like architecture. VCenter clearly needs to connect to the management interface. Control/data packets can stay on a layer 2 VLAN and not be routable to other networks. I'm not a networking guy, but have need to interface with our network team help design, deploy our 1000v. Would put us the control/package/mgt all on a VIRTUAL LAN, then use the ACL to restrict the traffic of just vCenter and other stations approved management work?
It seems to me the best solution would be a local network VIRTUAL package control information which is the layer 2 only and therefore no gateway or routing. Then place the management interface VLAN another which have Layer 3 connectivity and set the ACLs on the routing to limit what devices can talk to the management interface.
Thoughts?
We changed practices version 1.1 to 1.2 with respect to VLANs. There was a lot of pushing all VLANs was exaggerated and confusing to Setup. In a 'high security' configuration, I agree with your last paragraph. I put on a management VLAN is routable and stick control and packages on a non-routable network of L2.
It's a perfectly acceptable Setup.
If you go to ACL do not forget the VSM needed connections the following. You need access to vCenter, ssh/telnet access, monitoring of the access, and we use the network interface of pulsation of backup for VSM HA. The heart beat is pure L2 between two VSMs so keep that in mind.

VMware vSphere: what's new in vSphere 4; Self-Paced
I take a VMware Infrastructure 3 environment: install and configure V3.5. Can I take the VMware vSphere: what's new in vSphere 4; Self-Paced or should it be instructor?
If you're not a VCP3, but attended one of the sine qua non
classes (VI3: install and configure;) VI3: Secure deployment &
Analyze; or VI3: Fast Track).Take and pass the exam of VCP3 OR attend the VMware vSphere4: what's new course.
Take and pass the VCP4 exam.
Self-paced course is not enough, the new class with instructor is the only class that meets this requirement.
It was announced last week that the VCP3 exam will remain available until the end of March 2010 and the last day VMware have deferred the date limit for holders of VCP3 obtain the VCP4 without having to attend a vSphere instructor course - you now have until the end of January 2010.
