Security mode - unable to show youtube videos

Hello everyone

We are having a problem with the inability to view youtube videos.
The message comes up saying that we can not see the video because the computer is in safe mode.

I have a K9 filter on the laptop and I'm sure what I'm trying to view is not at all risky so it is a bit of pain and inconvenience. How leave us the security mode please? And what could be the reason why the computer is in safe mode. Thank you.

Also, if I wanted to take my laptop to be looked at and have a bit of a spring clean where I would take it? We had it for three years now.

Thank you.

Hello

Can you please tell us which laptop model you have and what operating system are you using?
Are you using the original version of OS that you got with your machine or a clean OS install?

For some compensation YouTube cookies and the cache solves the problem. For more information on how to do that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Deleting+cookies and https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+clear+the+cache

Others had to go further after deleting cookies from YouTube and block YouTube to save cookies. On the Tools menu, select Options to open the Options window. Go to the Privacy panel and make sure that it is set to "use the custom for history". Click on the Exceptions button, type http://www.youtube.com and click on the block

Another option is to disable hardware acceleration for Flash. To do this right-click on a Flash video, select settings, go to the first tab of the option enable/disable hardware acceleration for Flash settings. • Impossible to incorporate and view YouTube videos to Muse: 'plugin blocked. "

Hello! I'm unable to embed YouTube videos on my site of Muse. Whenever I have paste either YouTube embed code in an HTML object or try to use the YouTube widget, Muse shows a black box instead of the object with the "Plug-in Blocked" notification, and I'm unable to view the content. I can embed Vimeo videos very well, but I'd really like the ability to integrate YouTube videos as well.

Does anyone know why Muse blocking me the integration of YouTube videos? This seems to be a very odd behavior, and I found no other discussions on the forum regarding this same issue.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

Great idea! I never use Safari, Chrome only. But when I tried to view the video in Safari, I discovered my Flash Player youtube plugin was out of date. I installed the latest version of Flash Player and that fixed the problem! The YouTube widget now works normally w / muse and I also see embedded YouTube videos. Please point me in the right direction. I never thought to solve this problem. You Rock!

  • Impossible to integrate YouTube videos after the update.

I'm unable to integrate YouTube videos after the patch v27. I can copy the embed code on YouTube, go to the object/Insert HTML and paste the code. The code is there, but all I get is a white/white box and will not play the video. I tried fidding with the AutoPlay settings (power) in the superposition of the Web Panel without a change in behavior. I messed around with this all day yesterday, essentially losing a whole day of productivity, and I am on deadline. I resorted to a workaround where I create a hyperlink to the YouTube page that opens in the in-app browser iPad. It works, but my client is not happy about it. I noticed that this has been a problem in the first days after an update previous (specifically v25). This would be a recurring problem?

    Update:

Well, it's strange. Just for fun, I tried something different and it works. On the YouTube website, I right click on the actual video. In the drop-down menu context menu, there is an option to Copy the Embed Code. I tried and then glued directly in my setting in InDesign page (jumped stage the object/Insert HTML). A brand new box appeared with a video that has updated and worked perfectly. The actual code is different from what I've seen before:

It is not in the documentation of DPS, but it works and it's a relief. I hope this helps other peope who could get in trouble.

  • YouTube videos are green for a few seconds when they start, quickly moving and switch between fullscreen and windowed mode

suddenly, last night something happened with youtube. whenever I run a video on youtube its green for a few seconds, then it goes back to normal. its also green when I fast forward/jump and when I change between full screen and windowed. I linked to a screenshot of how it looks as if I googled this problem I find something else where people get a green screen but no picture at all and that it lasts the entire video.

I tried updating the drivers for my graphics card. I tried to play on my nvidia card rather than use my intel graphics hd 4600 and still got the same result, but instead to get a green image, it was really dark almost black. I also tried to reinstall flash even downgrade to an earlier version, but nothing does. and the strange thing is that I only have this problem on youtube and only through firefox so I even tried reinstalling firefox, but that did not work either

I found 2 things of this kind of help.
the first solution is to disable hardware acceleration, but instead to get a green image for a few seconds, image frozen for the same period of time and then play and she is like when its Green, when I start it up, jump and change to full or windowed.

the second solution I found in support for mozilla, to change the HTML5 player. But even if this player works great I really like it. for some reason any the break from the drive when I change between full screen and windowed mode and I don't like these pop-up windows get you that its now in full screen and I can press ESC to quit.

These are just little things, but I would like to return the standard player.
If anyone knows anything that could help me with this please let me know.

    What a little wild speculation?

YouTube uses a technology that has chopped videos in individual pieces, which is probably video serve more easily, but could create more opportunities for issues when moving in the video. There is an add-on called Center of YouTube that allows you to disable this technology and back to the days of one big file. Might be worth a try.

  • V27, 27.1, won't play YouTube videos. Even in safe mode

I can't watch videos on my default browser, the latest Firefox v 27. I think that I am not alone in this.

I do not have the latest versions of Flash Player, Real Player, and Javascript is enabled (not java)

I found it first in the videos of my favorite site of cats (cheezeburger..), but I just find that it comes up with videos of Serif community more. Video accessed via FP work, even when the so-called YouTube (clicked)

Work live YouTube videos, but not the videos of YouTube accessible via cheezburger links.

These defects occur only in Firefox 27 and videos play OK in Maxthon 3, (Chrome and Opera - the last time I checked). I know that you do not recommend this but can tell you exactly how to reload the previous version of Firefox, V26 - I had no problem with that.

I tried to run FF27 in safe mode, no effect. I don't want to lose the different add-ins I use, if I don't want to reset to the factory settings.

    I think is not necessary.

Click with the mouse right button on the Bookmarks box or in the bar (press F10 or alt to see the title bar) title, and then click Customize

Then drag the address located above the tabs of stripe bar and.

Go to Subject: config search browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab change itsvalue false

  • Can't view the YouTube video because there is an active filter. It happens on the job and home networks and only on Firefox (15.0.1).

After update 15.0.1 Firefox and Adobe Flash Player to 11.4, I was unable to view the media from YouTube. I was given a message: "this video is not available with the filter of education allowed.» To view this video, site network administrator will have to add to a playlist. I work for a school district and use my laptop at work so I thought that I got this message because YouTube is blocked on this network. But when I got home, I got the same message on my home network with YouTube videos. I have reset Firefox and he took care of the issue until I'm at work, and the problem happened again with the same message everywhere... I tried to post the same videos on another browser (Safari) and it works beautifully. I'm afraid that if I reset Firefox even once, I'm having the same problem.

It is possible that YouTube set a cookie to filter which can still be seen when you connect at home. To clear cookies for youtube.com, you can use one of these:

    (1) 'dialog show Cookies' tab in Preferences/Privacy:

Firefox > Preferences > privacy > 'view the Cookies '.

Type yout in the search box at the top to filter the list and remove each cookie individually.

    (2) "view Cookies dialog box" in the Page Info/Security tab:

While displaying a page on the site-

Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.

    -remove each cookie individually.

Then, try to reload the page and see if Youtube behaves differently.

  • YouTube videos do not play

Videos YouTube played well in Firefox yesterday, but not today. I get a perpetual circle of loading on a black screen. If I hover over that bar below it show me miniature captures video that I move my mouse to the; Similarly, if I drag my mouse while holding down, it'll show a horizontal grid of thumbnails, superimposed on a bigger picture.

Chrome still plays the videos very well, so I don't know isn't a plugin problem or it could have an impact on Chrome also. Plugins are all updated, for what it's worth. Was already using the latest update of Firefox before that, also.

I copied the above from another author of the question, because it described exactly the problem I have. I deleted the cache and cookies, I tried Safe Mode, nothing works. The videos play fine on Chrome. I installed the addon for HTML5, does not solve the problem. Any suggestions?
