• Get rid of the popup webcam control box

  I have a laptop Satellite A series. There is a webcam control box that appears when you hover over it. He controls the parameters of the webcam and photo/video, settings, effect recognition labels and the face. You can move this box anywhere on the screen and it disappears until you hover over again.

  It annoys the heck out of me. Is it possible to disable this feature?

  Of course. Click with the right mouse button on this control box and turn off the Auto run option and after doing this click on close.

  On this model, I think you press right on the front corner left & right of the touchpad for left/right mouse button function.

  EDIT: The control is in the left pane. Y at - it a trick to know is where is the control?

  I guess that's outside the visible Panel. Maybe if you double-click on the terminal, the control is selected, and you can move with the arrows until you see.

  I noticed that when I create a .vi or .ctl and go to tools > advanced > export strings file created XML does not list what are the representation of the controls.  I create the .txt file attached using this method for the attached .vi.  The XML data does not appear what representation is the control.  Where is this information stored?  Is there another XML schema (or other format) which can be used to export the information representation for controls?   I am surprised that it seems impossible to change or view the representation of a control or the indicator without going through a right click on it and go to the representation.

  The flatten function XML will provide information about the data type.

• How does one remove the words click on box of

  Relatively new to Captivate 6.  By practicing with creation of a click box, the action is simple.  My problem is that resizing after the box, the words click on box to stay.  Is it possible to delete these words?  I tried to click inside the box, but it does not my cursor be placed inside.  Thank you!

  Your question is indeed due to your lack of experience with Captivate.

  A click box is just a key area that you can add to a slide.  It is not the same as a text box, transparent button or a smart form button that can also contain text.

  You must watch the box click in edit mode to see the words click on box that appears.  When you publish the project, the click box will be invisible to the user, but always responds when you click on it.

• How can I keep round cornered in the CS4 CS4 opening boxes

  I produce a lot of shapes that have round cornered in the areas of text boxes, at the opening of these files indesign CS4 into CS5 boxes lose all but one of the corners. The only solution I see is to manually adjust the boxes in CS5. Is there an easier way? or an update will improve this. I find this very frustrating because I have about 700 produced forms that will need to be fixed.

  You'll need CS4 no matter what, either for small changes to existing files or export the .inx/.idml. I would opt to keep anything that get only a minor update in CS4 (I have a 450 page book, enter a second wekk of next revision, and it will remain in CS4, so I don't have to chase cash flow through it all).

  The bad news is that if you have already uninstalled CS4 you will uninstall CS5, and then reinstall both in chronological order. You will also need to know which version you want to use to open the file. Double-clicking a file name is open in the most recently installed version if you run Rorohiko's Soxy, and then it should open the version where it was saved. Opening of CS4 and then open files on the file menu will work.

• Bug in the advanced Recordset dialog box?

  I have setup a site using the ASP VBScript server technology. Somehow, in the advanced Recordset dialog box I have the ASP.NET option with the parameters instead of Variables. According to the documentation should not display the settings window when using classic ASP. Its almost like Dreamweaver I'm using ASP.NET.
  
  When I test the retrieved recordset object data are correctly with my access according to the SQL DB. I tried to uninstall Vista Microsoft IIS support ASP.NET. This reduces the options of server technology during the definition of the Web site; but still no change when choosing ASP VBScript or ASP advanced Javascript - the Recordset dialog box still says SETTINGS VARIABLES not? Anyone know what could be the problem?

  The answer will depend on the version of Dreamweaver that you use. The update Dreamweaver 8.0.2 moved to the parameter type of the Recordset changes dialog box in the manner in which the recordset is constructed. The help documentation for DW8.0.2 does not seem to have been updated to reflect this change. You see the old style dialog box, if you go to:
  Help-> using Dreamweaver-> Dynamic Pages do-> define the Sources of dynamic content-> defining a Recordset-> creating a Recordset advanced by writing SQL

  So if you are using Dreamweaver 8.0.2 or later (CS3 is the next version), then you will see the settings in the dialog recordset in ASP, and you know what you are supposed to see.

  I tried to measure the area and perimeter at the same time, but couldn't find a way to do it. I need to cover an area and to see the area and perimeter both and two separate measure of drawing lines - one for the area of the other for the perimeter, is going to be quite tedious for me. Is there a way to see the area and perimeter in one fell swoop? I use Adobe Acrobat Professional XI.

• Impossible to synchronize the folder unless 'See the improt dialog box before importing' is controls why?

  Synchronize folders only works if I 'See the import dialog box before importing' checked elsenever locates all the new files.

  Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

  Public share = network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

  To get best results connect to each computer system screen and set all the computers to be on a bearing the same name of Working Group , while each computer has its own unique name.

  If you have permission and security issues with Vista/Win7, check the following settings.

  Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

  Method #1

  Start button > in the search box, type options records > press the Enter key > click on view tab > under files and folders, uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails" > OK

  Method #2
   
  Start button > Control Panel > Classic view > systems > left column, system settings advanced > Performance tab, click on settings > tab Visual effects, click 'Show thumbnails instead of icons' > OK
