  Hi all

  I have a questions. It is that I create a Subvi to my table and it can display the last value in the upper part. Below attached snapshots of my programming. I use a number random and STOP for control of you guys let see the whole process of what I want.

  but when I change "constant true/false" and using a digital command. and I put it in my program. It won't list down the values and it will not display the most recent value at the top. What is the problem? I was stuck on this problem for a while.

  and another question was how to keep the size of the list is constant? for example, I onli wants to view 30readings on my table. as the program continued to run, the oldest value will be overwritten. because if kept under my table more, means memory increase my programming and registration of cause late development. I do not want to happen. So is it possible to maintain the display of fixed table values?

  I think that the problem causes initialization of a register shift to void / vi. If you initialize a shift register, each time sub vi is called, he will replace value in the registry to offset with initialized value. Uninitialize a registry change to resolve a problem. • FAQ (29): why the "See the last SoftPaqs" button grayed out?

  When I'm in the mode 'All products' or "Building Driver Pack", "Show the last SoftPaqs" button is gray. How to enable this feature for SDM will show me the latest versions of the SoftPaqs for my selected models?

  

  In the modes of 'Building Driver Pack' and 'All products', you have the ability to check more than one model. Unfortunately, showing the latest version of a SoftPaq for more than one model is problematic because the same version of a SoftPaq maybe not the one which is responsible for all the models selected that makes the application unnecessary and ambiguous.

  Just think about it for a second. If we had a model (let's call ModelA) 5 years ago and another model who is only 1 year old (let's call ModelB) selected in SDM. Keep in mind that computer models of different years will probably have material differences that require different hardware drivers. Also note that this could be the case even if the models were of the same year. Furthermore, models most recent software qualification only goes back a number of years. It could very well be that the software can run on older models, but if HP do not qualify and test it, HP will not associate the new version of the SoftPaqs with older models.

  So, what does the request: "Show me the latest versions of SoftPaq for some models ModelA and ModelB" really means? We asked this exact question to various people and two completely DIFFERENT responses are returned. The answer seems to be influenced by the different needs of the Organization to which the respondents belonged to.

  For some, the answer was: ' show me the most recent SoftPaq who qualified for BOTH models. This is known as a query "AND". This query would only show what are the common SoftPaqs between ModelA and ModelB, but would show NO SoftPaqs, who were qualified for only one and not the other.  With this query, most of models that are selected, the lower number of SoftPaqs appears.

  But for other respondents, the answer was ' show me the lastest Softpaq is qualififed for EITHER model; which is a query "GOLD". This query would show all the SoftPaqs associated with each model. But it is not clear if each SoftPaq was qualified for ModelA, ModelB or for both. This request seems to be too broad, because the models have been selected, more likely it is that a SoftPaq would appear even if she wasn't qualified for a model on the list only.

  So, to illustrate this, imagine the following scenarios...

  Scenario 1

  We have three SoftPaqs. SoftPaq1 qualified for the ModelA and ModelB, SoftPaq2 is ONLY responsible for ModelA and SoftPaq3 is ONLY responsible for ModelB. What SoftPaqs should appear as the "last SoftPaq ModelA and ModelB"?

  Answer:

  Query AND: SoftPaq1 because it is "the latest version of a SoftPaq who qualified for BOTH models.

  GOLDEN request: SoftPaq2 and SoftPaq3 because everyone is "the latest version of a SoftPaq for at least one model.

  Scenario 2

  What happens if the SoftPaq3 did not exist?

  Answer:

  Query ANDoftPaq1 because it is "the latest version of a SoftPaq who qualified for BOTH models.

  OR queryoftPaq1 and SoftPaq2 because everyone is "the latest version of a SoftPaq for at least one model.

  Scenario 3

  What happens if the SoftPaq1 did not exist?

  Answer:

  AND query: No. SoftPaq is qualified for BOTH models

  GOLDEN request: SoftPaq2 and SoftPaq3 because everyone is "the latest version of a SoftPaq for at least one model.

  Add more models and SoftPaqs and results gets confusing real fast. Therefore, to avoid confusion, it was decided that the "View the last SoftPaqs" button would be disabled if more than one model was chosen because it is the only case where "See the last SoftPaqs" is not ambiguous. Thus, the "View the last SoftPaqs" button is available, if only a model (and OS and language) are selected.

  If you have several patterns that you manage, and you want to use the button "See the last SoftPaqs", please enjoy SDM configurations and save a configuration for each model. For more information on SDM configurations, please see using SDM.

  I try to put in place a program that can read the last value of one of the large channels of different TDMS files but I just can´t find a way to do it.

  Hello

  You can use the following playback TDMS Set Position feature included in the PDM API.  This function receives a parameter called "(0:start)", which can be set to 1 to go to end of the file.  In this way, you can read the last value written to the PDM file.

  File management preferences is where you can change the number. I don't know the maximum.

• Take the last value of the timer

  Hello

  Looking for a help store the timer values.

  Set the backround: will be used to gather data for tests on mechanical switch lifecycle sump pumps.

  Needs to: number of cycles (lit-shut down-lit), Count time stuck we or off (authorized in time is the estimated time to fill/drain sump), see the amount of time stuck on or off.

  I got all of these features to work, but my problem is that when I save to spreadsheet each incriment stuck time power is saved. This could lead to a large number of unnecessary data points. Instead, I want only the last zero no value of the glued power saved timer.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Read a CSV file via the unix shell and choose some columns in each row
  Transmit the data to a MaxL Script
  Assign the data passed to substitute variables in the MaxL script.

  Two of the columns contain digital data (for example: 0.5 or 60 etc..) I want to set the substitution variables in these digital data (without the quotes). I tried to use
  
  Edit the < app and cube name > database variable 'Variable' $1;
  
  but it gives me error
  ERROR - syntax error 1242021-1 ['. 5']
  I tried with quotes single and double, but they value the value of the variable $1
  
  If I manually set the value of this Variable through the Regional service to 0.5, everything works perfectly. Any ideas on how to do this? the Ser60 does not provide a solution.

  An example is

  startMaxl scriptname.mxl "0.5"

  alter database appname.dbname set variable "VariableName" $1;

  or

  startMaxl scriptname.mxl 0.5

  alter database appname.dbname set variable "VariableName" ' \'$1\' ";

  In my opinion, the configuration files are the easiest method and the best.  Simply save your last values to the file when your code ends.  At the beginning of your code, to read the file and fill in the controls with the values read.  With the configuration files, the section name can be the name of the cluster, and key names can be control names.

  I know OpenG has some pretty nice to do, but I prefer to use the native functions OR when I can.  When porting to a new system, there is no need to copy any additional screws library (OpenG library).  The native DV come with Labview.

  I need to replace a value in a table when it exceeds a given threshold it replaces the value exceeded with the last natural not to exceed value. Make sense?

  Not a bad homework problem.  Do it with pencil and paper.  Write your table and pretend you're the computer.  What you want to do (step by step)?  What questions do you have?

  Now that the translation a bit to computers.  You mentioned that the data is in an array of strings.  What structures (LabVIEW) work with tables?  [Do you know how to work with tables?  [Otherwise, review some of LabVIEW Tutorial material - see top right of the first page of the Forum].  What do you know about channels?  What questions you need to ask questions on the channels?  What do you know about string functions?

  Watch these things in some LabVIEW code, 'feed' some data and see what he does.  If it seems to do things "unexplained", you can try to look at the block diagram to run by turning the performance highlight (and if you don't know what that means, use the help of LabVIEW and see the tutorials).

  Add the REGISTRATION_YEAR_ITEM to the IR Page elements to submit property. He will submit the current value in session state.

  Why bother with the page element at all? Why users can't create just an IR filter?

  I also tried the V method, but produce the same results

  For performance reasons, use bind variable notation when you reference values from session state in SQL queries.
