Seeing no Commit and Rollback in the data control

Hi, I am just learning to use JDEVELOPER and am following various tutorials/demos to learn. When I create my session EJB data control, I don't seem to get operations Commit and Rollback (the green gear icon). I repeated it in a new project with the same result. When I open the example of code written by other developers, I can see them correctly.

Y at - it a setting that I am neglecting to set?

Thank you

Dave

EJB don't use Commit and Rollback - they use mergeEntity and persistEntity.
You will get operations commit and rollback if you will use for your persistence layer ADF business components.

  • SQL Loader issue - CSV with commas and quotes IN the data

Hello, I have a dataset for a simple table of 2 columns like this:

Column 1, "it is given for"Column 2", with commas and quotes."

Data are delimited by commas and may be surrounded by double quotes.  In ADDITION, it may include commas and quotation marks in the data fields.  I CANNOT manipulate data before sending it to SQL Loader.

I set my file of control like this:

    DOWNLOAD THE DATA

    INFILE '. / TEST.dat'

    BADFILE '. / TEST. BAD'

    DISCARDFILE '. / TEST. DSC"

    REPLACE IN THE TEST TABLE

Fields ended by ',' POSSIBLY BOX BY ' "' TRAILING NULLCOLS"

    (

    Col1 char (50),

    Col2 char (500)

    )

Now when I run the present via SQLLDR, I get the following error in the log file:

Sheet 1: Rejected - error on table TEST, column COL2.

no terminator found after CLOSE and CLOSED field

What are my options to get the loaded data as presented above?  I'm working on Oracle 11 g (11.2.0.3.0) 64-bit on AIX 6.1.0.0.

    Thank you!

In this case, there is no way she can tell who's a delimiter or pregnant and which is part of the data.  As far as I know, there is no way that you can load it into the appropriate columns.

  • Commit and Rollback in the procedure.

    Hi all

    I use ODI 11.6 and Oracle 11 g.
    I have a senario
    When I contact_1-> procedure 1-> contact_2

    The contact_1 update Table_1
If the procedure_1 is to run successfully then it updates Tab_2

Suppose that the contact_2 will fail which will update the Tab_3

I need to restore the Tab_2 and the Tab_1.

    How to proceed in ODI?
So we Commit any type of option in the procedure?

    Thank you

Interface 1 & 2 should use KMs to the DDL and DML operations is a separate transaction.
For your info, most of the KM roped into this. Just check the same once more

Once the above is done then notes the DML operation that happens in what conversion. Say what is happening in transction1.

The value are committed to do for contact_1
Create your procedure and value commit any commit
In the procedure, set the transaction the same as as ok contact_1 IKM (say transction1)
The value contact_2 commit to yes
    Thank you

  • Commit and Rollback disabled

I work with JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 and the HR on Oracle 11 g XE database.

I dropped the collection used my data on my page control. This page is the adfc boundless taskflow iside. I also dropped the transaction Commit and Rollback of the data on this page control.
When I change the data in my table, I suppose that the cancellation and the validation button must be activated, but they remain disabled.

It seems that the transaction maintains 'clean' and my changes are not recognized. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

Set the disabled property to buttons commit / rollback to false.

  • COMMIT AND ROLLBACK

    Hi all

I need help woth greetings to Commit and Rollback.

I've updated a table in my database.
My table has the following columns.

    calcualtion, seqno, defname

I had to update the calculation where seqno in (1, 2).
I forgot to give where clause in my update statement and the table updated.
I tried the restore, it didn't work.

Is it possible I can cancel my commit?

    Thank you

You cannot restore a commit: is this that commit means actually, really, in the first place: "I agree these changes * permanent * in the database.

If you use anything later than version 9i, however, you will see the old data as it used to be:

select * from tableA as of timestamp to_timestamp('09:00:00 03-JAN-2009','HH24:MI:SS DD-MON-YYYY')

(Of course, to set date and hours to this statement based on your own needs).

You will not be able to see the data that he used to use this syntax, however, because too much activity on the database caused the cancellation necessary to generate the 'image' of the data that it had to be crushed. But if you can, then you can do something like this:

    create table tableAbackup as
select * from tableA as of timestamp to_timestamp('09:00:00 03-JAN-2009','HH24:MI:SS DD-MON-YYYY')

And then you'd be able to do something like

    update tableA a set calculation=(select calculation from tableAbackup where seqno=a.seqno);

When you have your data in the real TableA, you can drop TableAbackup. And then you can go make your original updated again, this time without forgetting to add the WHERE clause!

If you cannot use this technique because you get told that you can not return to flame the table than necessary because undo is missing, then you're looking at things like finding the data in an old export file. a database of pending or which has not been updated yet; or (in extreme cases) during an incomplete recovery of the entire database at one hour before your update. Errors user like these are horribly expensive recover if flashback is not here to save you!

  • The good examples of the construction and analysis of the data in bytes?

    Hi all

Very soon, I'll have to find a way to build messages to bytes to send to a serial port and a serial port to receive and review to the basis of events out of...

However, before I delve into the complexities of the serial port communication and VISA, etc... I would just like to see some examples of working mainly with data of bytes.

I found how to get a digital constant the byte value... the binary representations signed and unsigned, etc..

However, if I could find a simple example or tutorial just to see how to assemble the byte-code... and how to analyze it, it would prove invaluable for me to study.  I've never really worked at the byte level / binary front... and a few examples with LV would be very practical.

Anyone know of any good links out there something like this?

I'll eventually be sending 5 bytes out I need to build... and will receive 9 bytes in, each of which I need to parse out and respond...

Links or information GREATLY appreciated.  I'm pretty decent analysis of the chains, real expressions, etc... but never worked with the construction and analysis of the data in bytes.

    Thank you in advance,

    Cayenne

If you are comfortable with binary data, you can use the Boolean charts. Look at the number of table Boolean and array Boolean functions numbers. Instead of masking with an AND, you can easy to use array index to check a bit particular.

  • How to create the data control to a custom object of sale cloud using web service.

    Hi all

I'm working on a requirement I need to display the common custom object data and their children object. After the display of the data user will be able to select multiple records by using the check box and then update the State to close.

So basically, I need to create a table in which the data will fill with the checkboxs and when the user clicks on the button update then I need to update a field in the parent object.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

You must follow the steps below

    1. right click on the template project, select the new option

2 Select the data control in the left hand side of the tab "All Technologies"

4 Select "control of data from the Web Service" in the right side panel

    3. Enter the name of the data control (custom name)

    4. provide your WSDL to the URL https://crm-domain.oracleoutsourcing.com/foundationCustExtn/CrmCommonReferenceService?wsdl

    5. click Next, next if all methods to winow than wsdl, mix to the right and click Finish button

6 refresh "data control" in your right side panel to request

7 expand control of data and select only control data that you have already given

    8. then you can see the methods that comes from your wsdl.

    9. Select the method and expand it, you will get the return values

    10. drag and drop the return as a table value, you will get the af:table on the page

    11. don't want to operatet this table.

  • Client interface methods not found in the data control

    Hello

    JDev 11.1.2.4

I exposed some methods by including them in the client interface of my module of the application. I tested the app module and I can call methods. I refreshed the data control, but I do not see the data control methods. I have several other client application with interface module and I can see the operation. I only have the problem with this module of the application.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Close jdev, delete the folder the model project of the module of the application classes and the classes folder of the project view controller where you want to use the datacontrol, start jdev, recompile the project model (and deploy the lib, if you use the library), recompile the view controller and finally see if you see the methods in the datacontrol.

  • Why fields view object cannot display in the data control?

    Hello
    Work in jdev 11.1.2.3.0.
I create two objects from view of the entities under the project module.
and see the AppModule.xml as follows:
    ..
    < ViewUsage
    Name = "TransAccountVO1".
    ViewObjectName = "Project1. TransAccountVO "/ >"
    < ViewUsage
    Name = "TransAccountBillVO1".
    ViewObjectName = "Project1. TransAccountBillVO "/ >"
    ...
Under the control of data panel shows these two nodes:
    -TransAccountVO1
    -id
    -name
    ---..
    + Operation
    + Named criteria

    -TransAccountBillVO1
    + operations
    + Named criteria,

THE first node is ok, but the second miss (node TransaccountBillVO1) areas.
Why fields view object cannot display in the data control?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Cannot find the data control to the Web Service in the Menu

    Hello

I try to call a web service in the ADF. To do this, I want to create a web service data command

If I understand correctly, if I right click on the template project, I see the data control from the Web Service under layer Business > Web Services. (as indicated in 2.1 Sec-http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/howtos/1013/wsadf/adfcomplexwstypes.html#WsProxyPojoControl)

However, I am not able to find this entry in there.

    I tried the following things:

    I tried with Jdev 10.1.3.5, 10.1.3.4 and 10.1.3.1
I tried to select all available models of technology to create applications
    -Any model
    -Web Application [JSF, EJB, Toplink]
    -Web Application [JSF, ADF]
    -Web Application [JSF, EJB
-Web Application [JSF, Struts, ADF]... .and everthing else...

I still don't see the web service proxy.

Then I opened the ADFToystore sample application, and I could see the service data Web controls here!... .that mean my jdev is not defective... something else is missing.

So, I tried to see what libraries are selected... I saw that a library named 'Web Service Data Control' are there in the project, which is not there in the model applications project that I created. So I added this library to the project, but it still does not work...
Next, I added all THE libraries I have seen in the libraries in the project properties section... still no luck

I don't know I'm missing something basic. Can someone please help.

    Rgds,
    Amit

  • Refresh of Page partial update of form before the data control returns the new value

    Hello

I have a set of paintings of master detail based on a single data source (Session Bean encapsulating a web service call). The high-level table (t1) shows data of opportunity, as the low level (t2) poster contacts for a special occasion. When the opportunity is selected in t1, the contacts associated with this opportunity appear in t2. These tables of work as you wish.

I have a read only form (form of the Panel layout) based on a different data control (supported by a Session Bean that calls a LinkedIn API and a table of database using EJB3 entities). LinkedIn Session Bean method takes a parameter which I get from the current row in t2. (#{bindings.relatedContact.currentRow.dataProvider.id}) I put the PartialTriggers as 't2' on the form.

When the page is loaded for the first time, the first line (line A) from table t2 is selected and the display shows the data associated with this line. If I select another line (line B), the Session Bean is called with the value of the id of the newly selected row, but the display will show the associated data from line A. Thereafter, whenever I select a row in t2, bean is called with the new value, but the form displays the data from the selected line previously.

I guess what happens is that the form is refreshed (using stale data in the data control), and then the call to the session bean is made. I checked using thread and print statements. Sleep() in the bean.

Is this a correct behavior and how can I make sure that the call to the bean occurs before the form is updated?

    I use JDeveloper version 11.1.2.2.0

    Thank you
    Michael

    Hello

as answered on StackOverflow, the trick is to set the refresh option on the iterator (s) to the second access WS (table 2) of PageDef on ifNeeded. The default setting is delayed, which in your case is not optimal because refresh occurs during rendering response, which is too late for the access of WS. Try "ifNeeded.

  • create the data control using ejb deployment

    Hi guys
I am a "newbie" in Jdev 11 g and have the following question. Perhaps his simple, but I need help and someone pointing me in the right direction...
If the session bean is created by another application, how can it be used to create the data control in another application?
    "ReferenceService"-> application of the referencesrvSessionBean
-> Applications "forms" contains all jspx pages, etc. How to create a control of data here, to the use of the sessionBean in the other application?
    Help, please!
    :(

It's very simple, when you are in the application that has your view layer, have to drop-> open and locate the jpr for your EJB project file.
This will open the project and add it to your application.
Then you can go in for your project to view preferences and under dependencies set up a relationship between the projects.

  • How can I create a query with the data control to the web service?

I need to create a query with the order of web service data, WSDL, it is query operation, there is a message of parameter with possible query criteria and a return message contains the results. I googled but can't find anything on the query with the web service. I can't find a criterion "named" to the data control of web service as normal data control. Blog of Shay, I saw the topics on the update with the data of web service command. How can I create a query with the data control to the web service? Thank you.
