Select the pages to go live

I have almost completed the design of my site in Muse CC 2015.2 and my customer want what is upward. How can I only select the pages go live? In addition, it has accommodation information, I'll just send him pages. Still working? I think he said he was using GoDaddy-that is why I don't want to have any part in that.

Hello

Yes, it is possible.

Enter plan mode and right on any page you don't want to export and uncheck the option "Export page" as shown below.

Kind regards

    Hi Gregh65396892,

You must use Acrobat, you can download a free trial of 30 days from the following link: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us/free-trial-download.html

After downloading and installing Acrobat, you can open both files in acrobat with enabled page thumbnails view, select the pages in a PDF document, then drag them to the pane "thumbnail" file pdf of another, and these pages will be copied in the second file.

An alternative might be to make a single document and place the required pages of other files. "" Scott Zanelli script would help with this (even if you need to run for each file you need pages): InDesignSecrets "Blog Archive" Zanelli releases MultiPageImporter for importing PDF and INDD files

  • You used to be able to scroll through the story of a tab with an arrow on the left of the screen to see all the pages that you have visited on this tab and now it is absent. You cannot select a page that has been perhaps 12 clicks back now.

If I am on a site and click on several links on the page, I want to be able to look at the history of my clicks and return click earlier - as the second or third one instead of hitting the button arrow 12 times. You used to be able to get a history of drop-down list of all clicks on a tab - it has gone now and it is really annoying.

There is an arrow to the left ("back" button). Click and hold down and after a second, you will have a list of the tab history. You can then select the page you want from there.

  • reveal the pages when the box is checked?

    Hello

I'm used to Acrobat Pro but new to LiveCycle. I need to hide several pages on a form until a user selects a check box. IE / user clicks on ' [x] category 1 ' and the page that contains the category content appears. If the user disables the check box, the page is hidden. IE / user erases [] category 1 and the page with the content disappears from the screen of the user.

\i think it is called "revealing the page", but I'm not sure. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

    Thank you!

Well, since I answered my own question, I thought I'd put the answer here just in case someone else can use it.

First of all, some grumbling on LiveCycle: (you have to put up with this because this product is horrible and I had to pay a fortune to use...)

    • At that time, why pc only? I need only this one tiny but crucial function but was forced to borrow a pc and then buy a pc only (+ $ 300) software that I will use no doubt once again. All this should be feasible in Acrobat Pro with some scripts. (If your Google skills are best mine and you will find an answer, then please share it here and save the lives of others, the pain and the cost...)
    • Why is there a contempt of all feeling accepted, standard shortcuts - keyboard, mouse, and other methods of investment? Where is the ability to drag the guides of the leaders? Why can't hold the SHIFT key CTRL when dragging a form object to keep things lined up? BTW, ALT is how this copy - drag should be done - not CTRL. Where are the guides? Why, when I target an object in the generator of Actions I must scroll manually or collapse laboriously each page in the menu tree to obtain further to the bottom of the list? What a waste of my precious time and now unprofitable on this project.
    • I spent nice hours of creation of documents of approved customer in InDesign, only to discover that LiveCycle could not import my work in a way that preserves my layout, causing me to have to rebuild all my form elements. We are talking here of 9 documents and nearly 150 pages of provision of pain-staking, which had to be redone. And don't tell me that I should have used LiveCycle first. It should have been much more homogeneous than it was.

Seriously, this product is expensive, not exhaustive, no standard compliant, similar to the use of Windows 95 in ways that no sane person should have to endure, but only pay for and put up with in 2014. Yes, Adobe high priests, I have in vain talk, knowing that this will fall indifferent, one ear deaf.

OK - so here's the answer to my question. In summary, the steps to hide/reveal pages based on the user checking or unchecking a box are:

    1. Create the box by dragging the library of objects "Checkbox. Enter the question text and make sure that data binding name is unique for each instance. Let's say that all the elements of the box are on page 2 of the document. When the user selects the first box, three page turns. So, for this box, name it something like "CheckBox_Page3". Others would be called "CheckBox_Page4", "CheckBox_Page5" and so on.
    2. Select the first checkbox (let's stick with CheckBox_Page3 as our example.) and then right-click, choose Actions => add an Action (or Action change if there is an action already). The Action Builder dialog opens.
    3. I'm going to need two actions for each check box. One who says, 'If this box is cleared, then the page is hidden' and the other who said: "If this box is checked, then the page is visible." The Condition value: 'When the CheckBox_Page3 box is deselected' and the result of: show or hide a [HIDDEN] object. Then scroll down and select Page 3 in the left column.
    4. Set the action of the second so that the Condition is: "When the CheckBox_Page3 checkbox is selected" and the result of: "show or hide an object [VISIBLE]. Then scroll down again to select the Page 3.
    5. Browse all your boxes until all pages are put in place with a hidden/unchecked and checked/visible configuration.
    6. The last thing to do is to select all of the pages that will be hidden/shown in the left column. When this list is selected, visit the subform tab. Presence of the article and choose from the list: "Hidden (exclude from layout)." Now, the document will open with the appropriate, pages hidden from view, until the user selects the corresponding check box.

Save OFTEN. Test carefully and on multiple platforms. Good luck.

Is it possible to select a page to not print when you print to a pdf package? without having to change to print setting every time that you print?

    Hi kristas61535376,

Try to change the settings in the print options and see if it works.

Open Acrobat > click on print > under Pages to print > select the page range you want to print and have not let.

For ex - there are 10 pages, and you don't want page 5 to print.

Under Pages to print, type 1-4, 6-10.

  • How to switch the page in the footer numbering based on looking for it's a left or a right page

    Hello

I sink my teeth into indesign and I was wondering if I can ask for your help on the foll:

I need to have my page numbers in the footer somewhere different sheet based on knowledge if it is a page left or right-aligned. Something like this is easily done in Word by checking the option "different odd and even pages.

Y at - it a similar option in InDesign to get the same result.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Yes, there is.

You must first make sure that you work in a facing Pages document. Something you select when you create a new document (file > New > Document), or you can change after the fact by choosing File > Document format, and then by selecting the option Pages deal with.

The document is then formatted with pages of left and right along the spinal column.

The next step is to apply a master page which consists of a left and right page on the pages of your document and add the footer information page and automatic numbering of the pages on this master page (in a different location for the left and right page of course).

    1. Double-click the Master Page label in the Pages panel to modify an existing master page that applies to your document pages, or select new master from the Pages panel menu to create a new master page design to be applied to your document pages, make sure that you set the number of Pages to 2.
    2. Now add a block of text or other footer information, including a page number 'false' the bottom left and right of the master page, you edit and format as it is on your odd/even pages.
    3. To change the number of fake page to auto page number, use the text tool to select the wrong page number and choose text > insert special character > markers > current Page number.
    4. Repeat step 3 for the page number on the second page.
    5. Double-click on a document page in the Pages panel to return to the document.

If you opted to create a new master page, you will need to apply it to the pages of a document always.

    1. In the Pages panel, select the pages to which you want to apply the master by clicking on the first page and then Shift clicking on the last page. This will select all of the pages between the two institutions.
    2. In the Pages panel menu select master apply to Pages, select the right apply from the menu of master teacher apply in the dialog box apply master and click OK.

  • Change the page size - grayed out of boxes

I'm changing the page size of the pages within a document. Apparently, you're supposed to select the pages in the Pages panel and then change the height and width of the Panel settings. My height and width boxes are grayed out. What have I done wrong?

Your screenshot shows you the active Selection (the black arrow) tool, not the Page tool (the third tool from above).

  • Hide the field to the page output?

    Hello

Is there a code to hide a field when you leave a page in Acrobat format?

I have a button that displays a field when the field is clicked it closes. But if the user does not click on it and let the page remains open.  For example, I'm on page 6 document, and click on the button to display the field. Then I moved to page 7 and then I go back to page 6 and it is always open.

I'm trying to figure out how to close the field when you leave the page if the user does not close it.

    Thank you

    Mark

Open the Pages panel on the left and right click on the page. Select the Page Properties, Actions, Page Close, and "Run a JavaScript", then enter this code:

    this.getField("Field_Name").display = display.hidden;

  • Gap between the pages

I have a document with pages on spreads. I want to have a space between pages. It's for a game of cards and I need space around it for the purge. I discovered that I have to use the page for that tool. However the value of x is grayed out so I am not able to resolve it. How can I fix?

    TIA

    Bernet

turn off the Pages of a Document enable Shuffle (in the Pages palette)

Turn off facing Pages (in paper format)

your pages while remaining in the pasta to spread (but not really "raise")

Select the left page of the spread

    Select the Page tool

now the value x is active, you can adjust the location (for each Board), that is, move outside the other pages to make room for internal bleeding
