Selection programmatically OI

Lists of files in sequence in a Bar in list (user interface). Is there a way to programmatically set the file in sequence initially selected with the goalscoring of operator interface? Maybe use a TestStand I wish I could modify the sequence initially chosen at the start of the global operator interface.

Okay, I think I have.

Use the property SequenceFiles of the Application manager to get a collection of sequence objects files. Use the item method for the collection for the purpose of file of sequence of interest. Then, set the file property of sequence of the SequenceFileView Manager to the chosen sequence file object.

Thank you.

  • Enable drop-down text ring/enum selection programmatically

    Hello

    Is it possible to active the drop-down menu for a ring of text, or enum programmatically, like to point to the user to select one of the options for the command.

    Thank you

    I modified the example found here - http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/0CC5602FE23E86DA86257350004E1B6A. You will have to manipulate the position of the mouse to navigate to a specific line, but this will open the ring.

  • Simulate the Menu selection programmatically to vi

    Hello

    I use the basic version of LabVIEW 8.5 (no event handling). I created a custom RTM (Menu Run-Time) and use the vi to get a selection of Menu connected to a business structure to manage everything. (Part of the manipulation to put a check mark next to the menu item selected and by disabling the checkbox of all other elements using the vi Set Menu Item Info.) Too bad he does that automatically. Maybe it's in the new versions, but I digress.)

    My application can save and recall setups. When I remember a Setup, I want to programmatically call the respective case, as is done by the vi to get a Menu selection, even if the menu is not actually clicked by the user. I can't find a way to do this. Is is possible?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your response. It seems that there is no practical way to 'simulate' an 'event' with the basic version of Windows. Duh!

    Anyway, as usual, I came up with a solution. First of all, I would like to say that only a subset of my menu items require a check, but it's not really relevant. I have a hidden control (aka, a drop-down list box) ring with all these menu items element tags. I've created a loop For and browse all the elements (the ring NumItems property), first clear all checkmarks (using Set Menu Item Info with the RingText.Text related to the input element tag) and then setting the view of what is recalled in the file. Who manages the question mark. (Note that in the case of the vi structure get a Menu selection, I had to actually disable each check box and that of the current selection, value, because the RTM does not automatically, like for example the checkmarks, Visual Basic performs.) Again, maybe the newer versions make.)

    I can then get a Menu selection with other operations reqiured, reproducing what is happening to this menu selection in the case structure of the vi. (Common things can be put in a sub vi.)

    Let me know if someone wants to see screenshots of this area of my block diagram.

    You can use the SetActiveCtrl function

  • Bug: ViewObject programmatic and form Validation

    Hello

    I've set up a display object as described here: http://stackoverflow.com/a/14611815/59087

    Assigned to the view object is a shown here validation rule: http://i.imgur.com/HXiwPUL.png

    The StartDate attribute value must be a date equal to or earlier than the EndDate attribute.

    The view object is not supported by an entity. With the help of an entity here is not logically necessary as these input parameters are intended to be transmitted directly to a report. The parameters are independent of an entity and rather arbitrary.

    When a February 1, 2013 start date and an end date of February 28, 2013 are given, a validation rule error: http://i.imgur.com/8v4007w.png

    You can see how the view object has been created here: http://imgur.com/HQLNh5U, uqtt5Fq, X8fldVt, HXiwPUL, 8v4007w #0

    This was recorded as a SR with Oracle and received the following response, "I guess the question here is this place where you added the validation. If this is added to the attribute level, then he will be fired by updating the attributes and there is no guarantee of the order of the attributes updates. If this is not the right place for you to add validation dealing with several attributes of value. Ideally it should have been added as entity level validation in your OE. And if your VO is updatab; e, that he must have been supported by EO-it is British Colombia was designed.
    If EO the introduction is not possible now, maybe, you can try to replicate the validation at the attribute level and trigger the validation of the attribute last updated"

    I'm fairly certain that by selecting programmatic (http://i.imgur.com/HQLNh5U.png), this means that no entity is necessary for the view.

    In addition, given that the Rules of Validation tab appears (http://i.imgur.com/HXiwPUL.png), and a comparison rule can be defined, it leads me to believe that it is a bug.

    As a workaround, I can define an 'empty' entity that is not accompanied by a database object and performs an entity-level validation. I don't like this because it is a little more work and requires the implementation of a transitional 'ID' fake to uniquely identify the row.

    Other ideas (how can I enforce the order of updates of attributes so that StartDate is filled in the view before EndDate object, thereby ensuring that the validation is successful)?

    Dave, support has a point here. Level of the attribute validation cannot cover the rules that have other attributes in the rule. In this case, you are detailed on the order of the attributes. The reason is that the validation of the attribute levels fires when the attribute changes its value. This is why the framework allows entity level validation (naturally only on an EO) where you can assume that all values are up to date and can be compared with each other.
    However, on a view levels validation object only transient attributes attribute is permitted. As is the validation of the attribute levels the same ruling applies as for EO. You should not compare two attributes of a levels of attribute validation rule as you cannot predict the order attributes and so you cannot predict the outcome of the rule.
    I do not see a bug here, such as validation to only at the level of the attribute.

    OK, what can you do?
    You can add an EO (as you said already) and add a level entity rule it. It will work, but needs some work more.
    You can remove the date field validation rules. MinValue and validate them in for example a bean or you can even use a method that is exposed in the client interface of your VO for this. Then, you call the method when the user clicks the button before you start the report. When the rule is triggered, you do not start the report, but the message.

  • To access the values from the row outside the ListView ListItem

    Hello

    I spent two hours browsing the forums and documentation with no chance of finding a solution on how to access the list item data from outside the listview.

    Tapping & getting data

    The arrayDataModel is filled with 4 rows. Firstly the list item, second item in the list... etc.

    • Tapping on the order of the day, label with the id of triggeredText displays the value of a threaded list item.
    • The index of the tapped icon appears in the label with the id of triggerredIndex.

    Incrementing Index using ActionItems onBar

    By pressing action items 'previous' and 'next', you can increment the index value to the label with the id of triggeredIndex. The order of the index is 0-4, even as total of the items in the list.

    How to extract data from the index when the value of triggeredIndex?

    Buttons

    The buttons at the bottom of the screen... Select 1, select the 2nd, 3rd Select should select indexes 0,1,2 of the list and display the value in triggeredText and triggeredIndex. They do not work.

    How did I pull the values when you click the buttons?

    Thank you and have a happy and healthy 2015!

    Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    I ran and got this:

    asset:///main.qml:161: TypeError: Result of expression 'theList.dataModel' [bb::cascades::ArrayDataModel(0x1091a838)] is not a function.

    But it works

    theListModel.data([3])

    But this isn't the solution, you have a more serious problem. You select a value, you trigger. If you add this in onTriggered you select it (and you can see that it changes color when it is selected).

    theList.select(indexPath);

    If you want to use option to deselect

    theList.select(indexPath, !theList.isSelected(indexPath));

    And if you want to have that one chose this

    theList.clearSelection();
    theList.select(indexPath);

    Inside the button 'Select the 3rd point' allows to select programmatically

    theList.select([2]);

    It works but I'm not sure what you're trying to do

  • How to get a partial validation in ADF?

    Hello

    Here's the thing. I show a popup with the af:dialog tag. There is a view entity object in the pop-up window. I have enabled ok and Cancel buttons in the dialog box. If the user is available in captures any information and press button ok in the dialog box, the details should be saved temporarily (similar to the post in Oracle Forms & reports). This temporarily saved data should appear when the popup is invoked once more. Instead, if the user comes in and between all of the information and press Cancel button, the details should not be saved at all and should not appear when the popup is invoked again. I couldn't have used DBTransaction.commit since there are other objects of view involved. I guess you could understand the situation.

    Please suggest me a solution.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Vivek TS

    You can use the transitional View object and store the data you want in there and change running. Then, when you finlize the data in the view of the transitional object you can copy it to the real object of the view.

    Check this thread:

    https://community.Oracle.com/thread/3529357

    Visit this link for creating object View transitional:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E16162_01/Web.1112/e16182/bcstatemgmt.htm#ADFFD1322

    It is the same way for the creation of the object from normal view, but select programmatic and don't forget to make the editable attribute always you will find this option in the new wizard view object

    I'm trying to call a CreateInsert operation on a view of a method object in a managed bean. The method is assigned as the actionListener for a toolbar button. For this, I modified the file xxxPageDef.xml with the wizard, who introduced something like this:

    & lt; action = "CommercialReferenceVO1Iterator" id = "CreateInsertPepe" IterBinding
    InstanceName = "DesignRequestAMDataControl.CommercialReferenceVO1"
    DataControl = "DesignRequestAMDataControl" RequiresUpdateModel = "true".
    Action = "createInsertRow" / & gt;
    & lt; / code & gt;

    I invoke the method using the EL from Steve Muench class as follows:

    EL.invokeMethod ("#bindings. CreateInsertPepe.execute', null (class), null);

    I do something appropriate? Because the truth is, it does not work :)

    What I really need, is create and insert a new row into an object of the detail view, and then change the tab currently selected programmatically to display the edit page for the new line.

    I hope that my question is at least some logic...

    Thank you!

    Juan Manuel

    Try this code in your method of action/actionListener managed bean:

    OperationBinding createInsertOp = (OperationBinding)getBindings().get("CreateInsertPepe");
    createInsertOp.execute();

    The code only inserts the line. Programatically displaying the edit page for the new line it is something else. If my suggestion is to execute the code inserts really the only line. If its ok, then just add the code that automatiaclly displays the edit page. In this way we can isolate the problem.

    Make sure the CommercialReferenceVO1Iterator is in the iterator header for the CreateInsert to work on a ViewObject detail.

    Another thing is that in your pagedef, I noticed the action links, the 'Action' attribute has the value "createInsertRow". You use charger 11 g? I don't know if its new in 11g but I use ADF 10 g and the attributes of 'Action' have numeric values, where a CreateInsert operation would have an Action = "40".

    Best regards

  • 35 & 36 on Mac Firefox selects listboxes (html select) created by javascript / jquery, unless I put the focus programmatically or I right click on it.

    I'm creating a single page app and newly created < select > < / select > does not work. It seems that the problem is that these select do not update when I click it. If I have (1) set focus programmatically; or, (2) rigth click once, it works normally. Firefox 35 / 36 on Mac OSX 10.10.2.

    I have it!

    I used the . deprecated function of jquery-ui disableSelection() . It should prohibit users to select text, but seems to give this collateral effect on FF.

    I'll try a suggested alternative CSS here .

    Thank you!

  • Programmatic selection of ICD of LabView?

    Hello world

    Is it possible programmatically Select a camera CIM and assign/load it to an interface of LabView?

    Background: I have a test station which is used with a number of different types of camera specific (all with their own .icd file) and I would like that the end-user to be able to just select the camera that they are working with a drop-down list in the labview test application and without having to navigate through MAX to set up the camera.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you

    Peter

    Hi nemi.

    There is no built-in way to select a camera CIM file programmatically, but it is possible to do by analyzing the iid file and change the text. This document contains more information on how to do it.

    Good luck with your application!

  • Programmatically determine what port of entry has been selected

    I use the default sequential model which has two entry points, Test DUT and Single Pass. I would like to determine in my sequence of what entry point has been selected by the operator. It is possible to programmatically determine what port of entry has been chosen, and if so where is that hidden in the massive TestStand API and properties?

    I would have preferred the entry point name to return.

    As long as you're MainSequence, then you can use RunState.Caller.Sequence.Name

    Otherwise, use RunState.Root.Sequence.Name

  • Programmatically change the selected cell/line of control multi-column listbox

    I want to programmatically change the selected cell of a multicolumn list box whose selection Mode is set to highlight the whole line. I would use this to highlight the line whatever the list box, I chose to. It would work the same way if the user has clicked on a line to select and highlight that particular line. Set Active cell does not fulfill this.

  • How to select items programmatically in a tree

    Hello

    I'm looking to persist selection from the tree in my application (save when closing a file, load from the file to the opening), but I can't understand how programmatically select an item in a tree on the charge. I would like to select the item and put it in evidence as is the usual behavior if you select using the mouse.

    I tried to write to the 'ActiveItemTag' property, but it does not work. Any ideas?

    AK01,

    Try the "Value" property The value of a tree control is the tag that is currently selected, setting the value of the appropriate tag tree is going to focus on this element.
