  Not the answer you want, but you could set up your quick customer with an ftp upload which would replace the existing pdf. I use Transmit and it would allow your customer to simply drag and drop on a folder.

• Acrobat, does not display PDF files correctly in the browser

  This seems to happen only on chrome when displayed in the browser of the graphics, especially the text appears incorrectly, or in this case at all. You can see that the financial 'Fi' is missing. It is a major problem because most of the people who visit the site hit the download and the PDF file automatically opens in the browser. Is there any solution for this?   BUT a quick fix is to download the PDF file, display in the browser, then refresh the page and display all fonts. Weird. It is a step that many will miss.

  You probably view the PDF file in the viewer of PDF from Google Chrome and NOT Adobe's PDF Viewer.

  I want to open a full PDF file and not an XML file which is sent when someone fills out a form online.  So, I made a document in Word, saved as a PDF, and then imported into LiveCycle Designer 8.0.  From there on, I created the fields in the form, add a button for the email out because the stock e-mail button does not work properly from what I've read (change the command send, add the e-mail address and change submitted as a PDF file) and save the document.  I then have an open document in Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro.  Go to advanced and choose enable usage rights in Adobe Reader.  Then save this file under a new name.  Then I can the PDF by e-mail to someone or put it on my site.

  Here's the problem:

  When someone fills out the form, it will automatically send automatically to the correct mailbox (good).  The PDF file opens and the PDF form looks like that I designed this (good).  But all form fields that have been filled... nothing appears. all I see is my PDF (bad) form.  I tried at least a dozen ways over the past two days to create the PDF... but when the received PDF file is opened later, none of the form fields are visible with what someone types in.

  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?  I'm not good at Adobe, but I'm learning.  I can understand most of the things, but this problem is driving me crazy.

  Thr default iOS or iAnything PDF Viewer does not support on a PDF form fields.

  Without knowledge of the programs and specific systems, it is difficult to answer.

  Overview programme Apple on Macintosh systems is known to have problems with the form, and it corrupts form fields insofar as they do not display the data unless the user is in the field. It is also know to make simple PDFs unreadable.

  There could also be problems with various mail programs because PDF forms contain binary data and not simple text.

  I created a PDF form to a customer. The form was sent by e-mail to a group of people, supplemented by themselves and emailed back. I have combined all completed in a single PDF forms, and the combined PDF has been posted on their web site.

  The client has made this comment:

  "Next time I want to a project only on the web more dynamic and socially networked."

  Can someone clarify what the customer meant by that?

  Is it possible to do what that customer wants using a PDF form or would be something different necessary?
  

  The data is the same, whether by e-mail or web script. If you are using a secure server, so you are able to have better control the security of the form and the data (especially if personal data or photos are included). With the FDF Toolkit or other processes, you can manage the data that is sent (no need to send the PDF just as data can be imported to the form to get the same result). I'm not familiar with sending photos, this is apparently a new feature and may not work with earlier versions of Acrobat or Reader. Maybe it's you want to put the result in a totally different format of PDF files, but merge together in a more useful way that does not include what you would have with the form input, and others. In addition, when you merge forms you must flatten first so the data does not get jumbled.

  OK, a response vague, but I think that the essence is there.

  If you want the form to communicate directly with the DB, you need to configure a DSN on each of the machines, which will take place in the form. Note that this wil only work on Windows machines. Also, the form must be started for the script runs (you mentioned the PDF has been stored on the web server). I have some examples that show how to deal with a DB, but attachments do not seem to work properly on the forum yet. If you cannot retrieve post them your email and I will send them to you directly.

  I'm trying to compare a form variable to what is in the database. Two transmitted variables - "form.employid" and "form.class". If the person chooses the wrong class or made a typo, then I get an error message. It sounds pretty simple, but I just don't get it. I want to compare "form.class" with COURSE_TTTLE in the database. If the "form.class" that the user selects does not match any COURSE_TITLE s in the database then I want to raise an error and told recheck. Here is my code

  Try renaming your mimetypes.rdf file in your profile folder - where the actions of the file are stored, so when it fails, Firefox will recreate this file. I hope that when this happens, it will be by default so that the files PDF opens in Firefox.

  Of course, simply change your formsweb.cfg and change the seperateFrame = True to seperateFrame = False.  This is the setting that controls if the application forms will take place inside or outside the browser.

• PDF form - size of the text on the iPhone

  Hi and thanks in advance.  I just created my first PDF form.  This works well when sent to my pc, read, filled out and returned.  However, it is difficult to fill on my iPhone, because of the size of the fields.  I set the preferences for the size of the text on Auto and in certain designated areas a size small text, but doesn't seem to work.  Alignment is also random, even if it is set to the left.  To clarify, I can view the correct form on the iPhone, but the fields default to a larger text size.  How can I fix it?  Thank you!

  Thank you.  Have discovered that it is necessary to download the Adobe application on the device.  Form now works fine.
