Separate e-mail accounts

Be involved in a number of different companies, I have 4 email accounts main which seamonkey maintained separately, but having migrated to thunderbird seems to receive all e-mails that themselves are coalition and keep picking up archive incorrect when you try to save the material.
How can I say thunderbird do not mix email accounts? I disabled all but one of the 'global' search, but appears not to do something useful.

The problem is extremely simple; the problem is Outlook (Express or normal) or Windows Mail: I have several accounts of messaging (email, address) and I want to have a folder for each email account, so that I can partition my incoming mail into folders based on the address of the recipient. How can I still do this in Windows Mail? It is not specific to any OS, but covers all versions of Microsoft Outlook and Windows Mail. Newbie

Outlook Express's identities to do that for you, Windows Mail does not work. There are four ways to solve this:

    1. use Windows user names. This gives a total privacy.

    2. apply message rules to filter incoming messages in separate folders.

    3. upgrade to Windows Live Mail , which has folders for each account, none of the rules is necessary:

    4. buy an add-on called WMIDs

Outlook uses profiles that will do what you want, one profile per e-mail account.

  • On XP System I've set up separate e-mail accounts 2 identities but OE puts all mail entering any currently selected identity. How can I do it direct to the relevant identity?

I recently had to change an old email client I've used for years, Outlook Express on my Windows XP computer. Using the Base of knowledge (including 209169) articles I have set up two separate identities, with each having its own email account information. But when running, whatever the identity is selected both receives all messages for the two identities. This is not the way it is supposed to work, is it? How can I fix this?

In each identity, go to tools | Accounts. It must only have an account in each. Is this the case?

If they are both, delete the one that should not be there. If this is not the case, then addresses are aliases for the mailbox and you will need to create message rules to divert mail to its respective identities of Inbox.

You can, but you will need to do this from your Apple devices.

If its an additional address to what already exists, you will have to hit 'Add an account' under mail then select iCloud.  Once you have created the account, you can delete it form your Apple device if you want and it can connect from any device it uses or same iCloud.com in the address bar of your favorite web browser.

  • How do you define separate in Windows Live Mail accounts as you would in Outlook Express?

I used Outlook Express for years.  Now that I have Windows 7, Outlook Express is not an option.  That's ok.  However, I have problems of establishing separate accounts in Windows Live Mail as I did in Outlook Express.

I created three accounts in Outlook Express.  When you open Outlook Express, we saw all three names in the window.  Would you click on a name, a password, and then you connect.

I want to do the same thing in Windows Live Mail.  I tried everything I know.  Someone suggested to go to the accounts and make new ones.  I did, but who made new account to go on Windows 7.  I don't want to do that.

If anyone knows how to help, please contact me with directions.

  • Merge two e-mail accounts

I have a few email addresses Yahoo and SBC Global, I'm able to check in a single mailbox on yahoo.com, while being able to select in each address when you compose an email.

However, I'm unable to understand how to configure my Apple Mail account to reflect my yahoo.com account. Currently in Apple Mail, I have a separate account of the SBC Global and a separate account of Yahoo. I implemented this way because it was the only way I knew to be able to select different e-mail addresses when you are composing an email. The problem with this configuration is the number of unread emails is doubled due to them being two identical mailboxes.

If possible, I would like to combine/merge the mailboxes while being able to have two e-mail addresses to select when you compose an email.

I hope that what I am asking is logical and someone out there will be a solution because I know that I'm not the only person using several e-mail on the same Yahoo account alias.

Thank you, in advance, for any help you are able to provide.

    Chris

Hello and welcome to Apple support communities, OMMBoy.

If I understand your post right, you are wanting to be able to set up your Yahoo/SBC Global account once in post, rather than implement them separately, but still be able to choose one or the other when you dial an outgoing message. I know from personal experience, how practical is to be able to choose the account that come from your emails, so I'm happy to help you find a solution for this today!

It is not a way to 'merge' mail accounts in the mail that you mentioned, but hopefully that won't matter because it seems that these two accounts are already merged on the side server. That you would do so first remove one of these mail e-mail accounts so that only rest. It shouldn't make a difference, that you decide to keep. You can find steps on how to remove one of these email accounts in Mail for Mac: Configure Mail with your email accounts, specifically this section:

    Delete an account

When you delete a mail e-mail account, messages from the account are deleted and are no longer available on your Mac. The copies of the messages remain on the mail server account and are still available (from webmail, for example).

Important: If you are not sure if you want to keep the messages are still on the mail server, move or copy them to a mailbox stored on your Mac (the mailbox appears in the section on my Mac in the mail sidebar) before deleting the account in Mail.

    1. Choose Mail > Preferences, and click accounts.

    2. Select an account, then click on the button Delete .

Note: If the account is used by other applications on your Mac, you are prompted to delete the account in Internet accounts system preferences. Click the button to open an Internet account, and then clear the box e-mail for the account. To stop using the account in all applications, make sure that the account is selected, and then click the button Delete .

Once you have one of these e-mail accounts deleted, you will follow the steps of Mail (Yosemite): use e-mail alias, to add the address to remove as an alias. Don't worry that the article shows "Yosemite", the steps are the same for Sierra.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    Take care.

  • How to combine features of Thunderbird each access to different sets of multiple e-mail accounts on 2 old computers in a configuration of Thunderbird on my new computer?

The laptop to access my personal email accounts (4 different ones) and my company email accounts (2 different ones). The old office can access my email accounts personal and emails from my wife (2 accounts for her). I now have a new desktop computer and I would like access to all the accounts of a single Thunderbird. It would be extremely difficult to start a new Thunderbird and enter all account information for all of these multiple accounts of a new beginning and re-upload all emails. I know that I can save the Thunderbird profiles separately and restore them to separate the case of Thunderbird on two distinct users, but it's a pain to change username every time one of us needs to see a different e-mail account. If multiple accounts cannot be restored in an instance of Thunderbird new monkey, is there a way to set up two instances of Thunderbird on a single office and restore backup of a computer in a Thunderbird and the other in the second? Thank you.

Menu (alt + T) OK, tools > options > Security > passwords > saved passwords and by clicking on the button show the password appears what you forgot.

I think that the closer you get to what you want is two profiles...

If you change a shortcut for the following arguments according to the target

    -ProfileManager -no-remote

Thunderbird will run twice on your computer (so it can be opened in each profile) and ask which profile every time it starts. If you use the argument Pei [profile Name] then Thunderbird will begin with the indicated profile (required several shortcuts).

My goal of looks like this

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Daily\thunderbird.exe" -ProfileManager -no-remote

If you have POP mail accounts so these could be configured to use a Global Inbox (Local Folders) account.
    See info:

IMAP e-mail accounts cannot be implemented in a global Inbox.

If you have POP or IMAP e-mail accounts, there is a "Unified" view
This quick method to instantly change the view in the files pane.
    'View' > 'Files' > 'unified '.
    or
    'Icon menu' > 'Files' > 'unified '.
It shows for example: a high level of the "Inbox" page with all the emails in the Inbox displayed in this box for a reception. It willl also show all the account mail separated as subfolders, inboxes.

This means that you can click on the small arrow to the left of the level upper Inbox to hide or show the separate sub folder Inbox.

him point of view unified also apply to all of your files by default Thunderbird for example: drafts, sent, Archives, Junk, Deleted/Trash

  • Private browsing is not allowing me to open multiple e-mail accounts

At work, I need to be able to open multiple gmail accounts simultaneously (not just switch between them in the same window, but in fact make them open in two different windows). In the past, I did in Firefox using a window of incognito for the second account.

For several months, I've been using Chrome at the request of my employer, but now the Chrome has been compromised (big surprise), and I'm back to using Firefox. However, now when I open the private window and go to gmail, it takes me straight to my first e-mail account. If I connect a window, it connects me out in other institutions.

Can someone tell me the settings I need to change? It's frustrating the heck out of me and makes it very difficult to do my work, by disconnecting signature, signature, disconnect...

Private and normal windows should have completely separate cookie jars.

If you check the title bar, the private windows are marked with the white-mask-on-purple tab in the upper right corner and normal windows, with no mask?

If you do not see the icons of mask on the private windows, you may have Firefox creating their own private browsing automatic, that will let you open the 'normal' windows, so there's only one pot to cookies for the whole session.

  • How can I open multiple homepages in Firefox? I want that all my Firefox different email accounts open at the same time. I've recently updated to Win7 and now I have to close it and to open Firefox to access another e-mail account!

I want home pages Firefox 3 separate and distinct for each of my 3 accounts to be open at the same time.

Questions are usually followed by a question mark. My reply has answered your question.

Firefox does not have an email, there is no "accounts of Firefox. If you access "electronic mail" with Firefox, you can use web mail. Some web mail services do not allow direct access, they want their users to access their mail from a "portal" or "Home" and will redirect any attempt to load a web site page "internal" return to home page.

In measure 3 loading different web e-mail accounts at the same time, if they are in the same domain it does not work on Firefox without an addon of Firefox. http://Br.mozdev.org/Multifox/

IOW, if these three E-mail accounts with Yahoo, without this add-on you would have to connect separately for each e-mail account, log out of the first before logging in the 2nd. Then disconnect the 2nd before logging in the 3rd. Firefox is not able to have several session cookies for a simultaneous connection to the same server. This add-on provides this feature of "multiple sessions cookies".

Hi all, this is probably an easy fix, but not when I don't know what to do. Haha!

I have multiple e-mail accounts, and e-mails come my MacBook Pro very well all my accounts except one. Unfortunately, that one of my business Web site hosted by GoDaddy. The mail arrives - finally - but it takes about 2 hours. I get emails on my iPhone from my GoDaddy account immediately, as it is supposed to. But not on my MacBook Pro. I tried checking the settings and everything seems fine, but clearly I'm not checking the RIGHT settings.

In addition, in what may or may not be a related problem: sometimes I'll get a notification at the top right of the screen that tells me an email came. But when I look, it isn't here. It makes me wonder if I need rebuild the files of my account or something. I don't know if that is related to the question above, or if it is a separate issue.

Could someone give me any suggestions as to what I can to make sure that the settings?

    I'm on a MacBook Pro, OS X 10.10.5.
