Server in MS model?

Ive had several servers in my grid. I have a lot of information about the hardware, Im looking for good is the 'Manufacturer' and 'Product name' server and specifically the mgmt discovers that it stores. can't seem to find...

accurate data can be obtained at the level of the BONE by running the command as root dmidecode (Ive overlooked some info below to protect children, but hopefully you get the gist)

[root@mybox ~] # dmidecode t Systems
# dmidecode 2.10
SMBIOS 2.6 presents.

Manage 0x0100, type 1, the DMI 27 bytes
Information System
Manufacturer: HP
Product name: ProLiant DL360 G6
Version: Not specified
Serial number: xxxx
UUID: yyyyy
Wake-up Type: power switch
Reference number: zzzzzz
Family: ProLiant

The available repository views are documented in the extensibility here programmers guide:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24628_01/doc.121/e25161/toc.htm

The host HW information is here:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24628_01/doc.121/e25161/views.htm#BABDGDBD

As you correctly pointed out, dmidecode requires root and since the agent is unable to run this command as root are unusable. EM uses a number of different sources that come close to the exit of the dmidecode.

If the information is not collected for any target you need, you can extend the EM 12 c collection by using a custom configuration that can bring together configuration, out of order and the SQL query result files. This mechanism supports the delegation privilege so you could run dmidecode if properly configured.
Custom configuration are documented here:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24628_01/EM.121/e27046/config_mgmt.htm#BABBDHCB

Dave

  • Cannot create the user in SQL Server 2008 physical model

When I'm on the right, click relationship models-> Relational_1-> physical models-> SQL Server 2008-> database-> users, 'New' (which is the only option) is greyed out and I can not add users.  In versions 4.0 EA, I was able to create users.  This feature has been removed from SQL Server?  I work in a mixed shop and we chose SDDM because it could support Oracle and Microsoft. And I am now ready to migrate everything from Oracle Designer to SDDM and it seems that some of the featrures of SQL Server have been removed.

    Hi Marcus,

any object login - tree of the physical model of SQL Server consists of:

    -Databases

    - Connections

    -Tables

    -Views

    - ...

If you need to create a connection in the connections series and in its dialog box you will find related tab.

  • Update of the pages on the server - Mac - CS6 model (child)

    People,

I update my model.  When I save this updated model, all the child pages on my computer updates automatically. Then update the pages on the server, there is a short cut? Do I have to load each child page individually?

You must download all the child pages.  If you update the entire site, click the site folder in your Control Panel files (F8) and click on the arrow pointing UPWARDS to PLACE files in site to the server.

  • Model DW: Put all the pages for the server AFTER a model has been modified?

I am probably wishful thinking, but I'd love to see an extension that would put all THE pages updated by a model on the server with a click of a button.  If you have a web site with 50 pages that are based on a model, sometimes you have to manually choose the files to put on the server.  I think it must be something built into dreamweaver.  Anyone know anything like what I describe here?

the answer is the cute little circular button at the top of the files.  Check the live doc on this subject:

  • Serve as a model to help

Hola! I need assistance with the help of model. How can I add my template for Contribute? Does it requires Dreamweaver?
    Thank you!

If you already have the model in hand, you can simply create a folder named 'Models' in the location the site root. File-> new Page-> Help will open a new window to page. Simply click on the button "Refresh templates" to see all of your models.

BTW, Contribute can create models, it can use templates.

Incase you have say 200 models uploaded to the directory 'Templates' of your site and you would like to only some 20 models selected to be seen by users in a particular role (i.e. publishers), being an administrator you can do by changing the parameters of role in the dialogue of the administration and by assigning specific models for this role to be seen by users in a role.

  • How to update the model of RDS for Windows Server 2012 collection?

    Hi team,

I want to know how to update the collection of RDS model (model master sysprep) which is used to create the collection?

I tried the below way but did not get the update of the collection of virtual machines.

-Start the image of mater of sysprep

    -install the required components

-resysprep the image and stop it

-East went to the RDS Collection and added new virtual machines in collection (removed the old his)

Once created, I opened a session in the machines, but I don't see the updates (I installed some software in the sysprep image however and no is not there in the virtual machines in the pool)

Can someone let me know if I need to create a whole collection again or the way I do it is a proper way? If it's a good way what could be the reason why I get the new installed software model sysprep image in virtual machines created in the pool, based on the model?

How do we actually updated for security and other regular patches updated in virtual machines? In my view, we use the same approach?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Kind regards

  • model invalid in vCenter server

    ESX: 4.1 U3

vCenter server shows the model as being invalid, it has other models work very well.

I have observed that the virtual machine disk size shows like nowhere and VM does not show the location of the data store.

I tried not recorded and registered, but it becomes invalid state.

    Kind regards

I could understand the question, the model is incompatible with ESX 4.1 U3

  • No blue screens SP1 Windows Server 2008 R2 after the deployment model

    Hi all

I searched around forums and google to see if someone else has fallen on this, but I can't seem to find anything.  I have a 4.1 ESX 1 environment with vCenter 4.1 update 1

I created a new system of Windows Server 2008 R2 and it patched for the last levels without SP1.  I cloned then it to a model.  When I deploy a server through this model with customizations (new SID), blue ect just system screens and goes in a reboot of the endess.  If I have the model with no customizations are deployed, it works fine.  It seems the new sid or something that's a waste.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello.

Note: This discussion has been moved from the community of VMware ESX 4 on VMware vCenter Server community.

There was a discussion there not too long ago which may help.

  • Created with a model Win2008 R2 Win2008 server... I have problems?

I just wanted to know if you guys know... I created a server with a model Win2008 R2 Win2008... I am for problems later? I spend 2 days creaating my server Win 2008 my Spec (slow server) and realized when I went to create another server that I may have used the model R2. Since I had rather not scrap the whole VM now after 2 days of building, I just wonder if im in trouble more late in which case I prefer now to scrap it and start over. PS what is the diff between the R1 and R2 model?

    Thank you guys.

The OS option basically defines the Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) that ESX uses to run your virtual machine image upwards.  It provides the abstraction of the hardware for your operating system software.  There are differences depending on the options, but they are the material differences.  For example, you want to ge the scsi controller LSI Logic SAS for 2008, where, for 2003, you will have the parallel LSI Logic.  And you will get a disk of 40 GB by default for 2008, where he will be 8 GB for 2003.  Just, I compared the two side by side (2008 vs. 2008 R2) and sees not all differences in material that is configured for the virtual machine.

  • How to build the data model to the server of short?

After the Quick Start Guide, I am still confused of short components. In the view of BI, it should be a short server integrated data model and a tool to develop and manage the data model. Which component is this role, CloverETL or something?

We have created a series of screencast "Getting started with short Information" discovered who should provide that you answer these questions.

You can find the full outline on our page OTN: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/endeca/learnmore/index.html

  • HP Envy 120 all-in-one: name and password on the server integrated HP Web Page

I have a HP Envy 120. I try to connect to the HP Envy 120 page which I think is either associated with HP Connect or the integrated Web server. The page displays the tabs Scan/Home/Web Services/Network/Tools/Settings. I'm trying to change the settings for scanning this page, but the security system asks to connect you. I don't remember putting in place of a name or a password, if I can find a password on the printer itself.  Even if it's the password to use it always leaves me with the question of the name.

    Can someone please advise?

    Thank you

Thanks for providing this information in the @morrig47PM.

Web services must be enabled to be able to scan to E-mail from the integrated Web server with this model. Here is a document with more information: how Scan: from the control panel.

Given that the reset of the printer is not clear out it Admin password for the built-in Web server, which would indicate a hardware problem with the printer.

I'd run the scan to Email on the right of the control panel of the printer. It is more convenient to use the option analysis of the Web.

    Press Menu scanning.

    Messaging.

If the printer is still under warranty, call to inquire about a replacement unit. You can contact the HP Customer Service.

    Thank you!

  • prepare the config for the model/tool switches

    Guys,

I'm trying to find out if there is a tool to prepare config Cisco routers/switches. I'm looking to prepare the basic config with some VLANS, static IP, etc. of the AAA. Should I use GNS3 as Simulator to simulate a router and configure it to serve as a model or if there is another free light weight tool where I can test config for typo errors or something.

    Thanks in advance!

If you have existing switches just the running-config and get some simple editor like Notepad and change the IP addresses and other things

Add No. SHUTDOWN on the interfaces, because by default they are not upward, and when you do a show running-config it does not appear as no. SHUTDOWN.

  • CONTENT SERVER

    Hi all

One of our customers is to have two content of telepresence server and are not in favour of the grouping option. The customer's requirement is to register the same conference in two content server.

Could you please tell if it is possible to record the same?

    Kind regards

    Krishna

Absolutely, however, you must either use an end with integrated MCU features or use an external MCU to connect all the sites, including two content servers.

    Configure the recording alias on each server using identical models, either manually call the sites, including two aliases for registration, or if a planning with TMS;

    (a) add participants according to the normal, click on registration of the alias in the drop record.

    (b) add the second TCS either by choosing this alias for the registration of an existing directory entry, or add it as an external site.

I also normally cut the TCS video so that we will not see any other record.

Heh--come to think, you could also record the Conference in two different formats also if you wish, just use a different template on each TCS.

  • What should be the perfect setting to convert the VM model CLI?

    Hello team,

I tried to convert the model of a virtual machine using the vim - cmd vmsvc/convert.toTemplate 1

And I am facing this error:

    {(vmodl.fault.NotSupported)

faultCause = (vmodl. NULL in MethodFault),

    MSG = "received error [< p:1f2aea80, TCP:localhost:80 cs >] SOAP response: markAsTemplate.

The mode is not supported on the object. »

    }

Therefore, it is supported in ESXi 6.0? If so, then what should be the correct configuration?

    Thank you

    Christophe

You need a vCenter server used with models... vCenter can then be managed using PowerCLI.
