  To do precisely what that you are looking for, within the DW interface (no coding)...

  Background image

  1. open the page you want as the background on image

  2. click on modify > Page Properties

  3. under click appearance (CSS) the search for a button for BackgroundImage and choose a file from your defined Site

  Center text

  1 highlight the text you want to Center in Design view

  2. click on the button CSS in the Properties window (Ctrl + F3 if it is not open)

  3. choose one of the icons of alignment that is there found

  Hello!

  Try please select it magic wand tool.

  

  Now click anywhere in the white area in your image. Your workspace should look like this:

  

  Now press delete and you'll end up with a transparent background.

  

  Now for the rescue. If you save this image in JPEG, you will get a transparent background. Select. Type PNG from the drop-down menu when you save the image.

  That's all. Your finished!

  You can select and remove several areas in this way by using the magic wand tool.

  Go to Preferences > Interface tab, choose light color theme dropdown on Apearance section (the upper part of the window)

  I see no real need to change the style sheet for something as mundane as the change of image of bg.  Here's an alternative:

  (1) add this to the top of your pages just before the closing tag:

  
  

  (2) then modify your menu items to add an onmouseover event that calls the function "newbg()", with a memorable classname as an appropriate setting for each menu item, like this:

  firm_overview.html" onmouseover="newbg('foverview')">FIRM OVERVIEW
  firm_team.html" onmouseover="newbg('mteam')">MANAGEMENT TEAM
  code.pdf" target="_blank" onmouseover="newbg('cethics')">CODE OF ETHICS
  

  Please note my classnames have been designed to reflect the text of the link, like "Overview of the firm"-> "foverview" rather that imagename that you will use for the bg, so in the future, if you decide to change this image, classname will always make sense for that link!

  (3) and then in a named "bgimages.css" external style sheet that I put in a folder /css/ (but you are free to rename all of these paths, filenames etc.)

  put these:

  Change the images and paths as needed of course. As always, the path is always relative to the location of the css file.

  (4) and finally, in an external js file name "bgSwitcher.js" which I put it in a folder/js /, paste this:

  It is indeed a challenge. When you use a background image as a complete browseror put a slide show in full screen, you are not in control of the exact framing more. Simply because you do not know the size of the browser window! That is why the Web page must be able to scale and crop your picture automatically. The only preparation you can take, is to edit your original to anticipate for a view centered when you use the slide show. And with a background image as browser fill, you have even more options, to fill or Mount the whole image and place the point of origin:

  I use Photoshop cs4 and Dreamweaver cs4 with Vista.

  I am building a lot of web pages and trying to find a way to blend quickly a black background image so that it fades on the edges in the background

  I tried to use the gradient tool, but that darkens the image a bit and doesn't seem to work for all parts of the image well.

  An example of what I'm trying to can be seen at http://gigharborwaterfront.com/blend/ , I was able to mix the top with a gradient, but the goal is to create a layer mask type or a model that will achieve the effect all around.

  I've seen a lot of websites that do this and hope there is a quick and easy way to do it.

  I also want to do the blend/fade in the smallest amount of pixels possible avoid eating to the top of the image.

  Consider learning to use a "Photoshop layer mask' to fade the edges of a black base coat.

  I received cela captivate 4 file from a colleague so I don't know what might have occurred before, but he is behaving strangely.

  For some of the slides, when I scrub the timeline, the background changes to what appears to be the background image for the slide that comes after it.  It is not a slide of motion capture.  Remove all of the buttons and keys/guests of the slide is fixed not.

  The only way I can fix this is by inserting a new slide and copy and paste the background image and the elements in the new slide.

  Someone has seen something like this before?  No idea why it happens or easier difficulty?

  I have a few pages where I had to scroll when capturing a video. I want to remove the images of the scroll mouse. I see that it is bound to a fullmotion.swf file in properties but I don't know how

  to delete the image.

  What I tried:

  1. replace the frame-by-frame empty mouse

  -bad result that audio button

  Does anyone have any ideas?

  I hope that I don't have to have a new video capture him and import it I have audio attached to it and do not know how to divide the audio and video, if it's the answer can you tell me how to split audio and video? If you have an easier solution, I'd love to hear it
