  Just deselect an item contained in the document that you are working on and set your fonts and other variables in the fonts/bar window. That's all. If you want to set a standard font for all new documents, close all documents and things. This works for almost everything.

  Yes, you can reinstall it on other machines, if you wish, without having to buy new.  A license allows for activating facilities on two machines and if necessary, you can turn off a machine in order to allow the activation of another.

  I don't think. I guess that they would be required to sign in or provide the number you gave them. Acrobat would continue as a trial until they click on "license this software ' or see help > Sign In.

I use which is probably a business version of acrobat (i.e. my employer has, not me)-so do not know what catchy limits. I think it's a simple question, but he would appreciate advice.

  -You can not install Acrobat Pro along with Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard in order to install Pro.

  -You (probably) cannot upgrade your license if it is a part of a business license. The license all will need to be upgraded.

  -It is not possible to install only the "Compare document" function as a kind of add-on for Acrobat Standard.

  Assuming that you are dealing with a PDF file provided by the IRS, you will not be able to e-sign. but you can fill the fields using Adobe Reader or Acrobat. The version of form W-9 that I have does not include a date field, but you can use the feedback tool add text to add a date. You can also digitally sign or use the annotation of pencil tool to draw a signature.

  Hi Stephen39,

  Do you have any 3rd party plugin installed for Adobe Reader? If not, close all instances of Adobe Reader running and delete the entire folder to: C:\program Adobe [version] \Reader\plug_ins.

  Now go to control panel > programs and features. Locate the entry for Adobe Reader X and choose to repair the installation.

  If you do not have a 3rd party plugin installed, try to uninstall them and see if the problem is related to the same. If it works, let me know what plugins have been the origin of the problem so that I can have a look.

  If all goes well, this should fix things.
