  I have set up a stream of level schema replication using local capture process. I can capture all DML changes on tables, but have some problems by capturing the DDL. Even if the streams are used for data sharing at different or in a database, I was wondering if we can replicate changes made to objects as views, procedures, functions and triggers in the source database. I'm not able to replicate the changes to my configuration view.
  
  Also, when I do a "select source_database, source_object_type, instantiation_scn from dba_apply_instantiated_objects' in the column 'object_type' I see just the TABLE in all selected lines.

  Rivers didn't have any mechanism for failover like Dataguard. The dataguard performs automatic failover when the principal becomes unavailable, but still we need to redirect our applications to the new site and it doesn't automatically. At the same time applications will be switched to the node in a RAC Cluster database with the help of VIP (CRS resource). Oracle Streams has all these kinds of resources to help in the recovery and so you must include with your application. The application must be able to fail over to the node required incase if there is a failure.

  If you have a Windows XP installation disc, you can install it on all computers, regardless of the brand & model computers.

  However, the product key that comes with the only usable installation disc on a particular computer.

• How to set the value of a field from the LOV of another field.

  I'm trying to figure out how to set the value of a field (P_PROGRAM) to the value of another field of based lov (P_STATE).
  
  The P_PROGRAM field is a hidden field. The P_STATE field is a required field and is based on a list of values for the State Codes.
  
  When a user selects the State to P_STATE, the field of the P_PROGRAM should be set to this value, as well.
  
  I tried different ways to get there via a function call on the post for the calculation of the field P_STATE, defining the source P_PROGRAM to the value of the page item P_STATE put varialbles, creating a process before SENDING, and they all still come back as having a NULL value for P_PROGRAM, therefore impossible to create the file in the db as the PROGRAM is a mandatory field in the table.

  Laura,

  It is always helpful if you provide information about the Apex version you are using. The Apex 4 you can use Dynamic Actions to achieve this. In earlier versions is possible using processes to submit or javacsripts, as well.

  Heres how you do in 3.x with treatment to submit, to make it work in 4.0 as well.

  1 do the P_STATE ' select list submits the Page.
  2. Add a calculation on the point P_PROGRAM, or write to him assign a value based on a process. The treatment should be OnLoad after the header
  3. If the page does not have an unconditional branch that loops on itself, add a. NOTE: The direction must be the last branch (larger sequence number) and should have checked "Save Session State".

  This is what will happen
  a. when the State is selected Page will be submitted
  (b) it will take the unconditional branch to himself and save the value of P_STATE
  c. the calculation process / fills the value of the P_PROGRAM element when the page reloads

  Each email address has its own calendar, which has its own EventList.  You can use the PIM.listPIMLists method to get a list of all events lists.  This feature was added in version 4.6.0 API of BlackBerry set.

  I created a list with three properties and three values. I also three fields when the user types in
  simple text characters in the fields (fieldA, fieldB and fieldC), a button and a field empty that I created.
  
  In the list, I put = the text in each field property values. When I click on my button, I want to display
  ONLY the values of each property in the same field (for example: "Geils"). I can display a value of a property,
  but I need to display all the values of three properties. For example, if text fieldA =, text of fieldB = B and fieldC text = C.
  then when I hit the button, I would like to than "Geils' to read 'ABC '.
  Here's the jargon I've attached to my button (see the commented lines in the script for more info)

  When the extraction process runs while recording for the form, it will use the values that exist in the folder, thus crushing any value you defined in the session.

  One thing you could try...

  1 create an element of application - through shared components - called, say, G_DEFAULT_VALUE
  2. on the page element that needs this value, type: G_DEFAULT_VALUE in the parameter of calculation calculation Post
  3 - instead of set point on page in your process/calculation, the value of the element of the application instead

  Then, regardless of the value on the record, the value of the application element is used instead. If this is not required in all cases, set the application to null element and use the following options for the calculation of calculation of post parameter:

  NVL (: G_DEFAULT_VALUE,: PAGEITEMNAME)

  Then, if the application element is null, the value of the page element (that is to say, the value of the record) will be used instead.

  My form runs the query on the block, and by default, it leaves the focus on the first record (top) in the block.  I would like to have it put emphasis on the last record in the block to the original query.

  I tried Last_record and go_record in a trigger post-bloc but these internal controls are limited and you cannot run message block triggers.  I see not all things property of block which could influence of it... either how can I do?  Thank you.

  I have JavaScript in the preSubmit event not firing when you click on the button Save in the workspace. I've been tracking this button across the bridge form called saveXML. The code I ran changes the XML, so I still need to run before a save. I've added a call to run the preSubmit event before the saveXML line. My code has failed because I discovered because when you use event.target in the preSubmit case, it is not defined when it is called from the form bridge code.

  I noticed that the form bridge code itself used event.target. I'm gathering from the comments that the event object is changed by this code for the target child is no longer there. I created a variable at the top and together event.target before where I think that it would be changed. I then used this variable, and it solved my problem.
