  I have the following script that returns a list of the fonts used in the document:

  The above works OK my problem is that it also lists the fonts used in placed illustrator (.eps) files. Is there some kind of setting or something that I can use so that the list only the fonts used in the text?

  the form is contained in an element called "clip", I simply had set cacheAsBitmap to true:

  Open the document in Reader, go to the menu file-> properties, then click on the tag are. You will see a list of the fonts used in the document.

  When I open a document and the fonts it uses is no longer available, it gives me a message that the police is missing and a substitute will be used, unless I have find and choose a different font. I made this choice with a single document, but now I would go back and change the default font used for the main text in the entire document. How can I get that back window that tells me which fonts are used so that I can make the change "at the scale of the document" that I want to? I don't want to get into 'styles' as it was too 'heavy' for me in the past. I want just the overall window that greets me if a font is missing.

  Use "Find a police" in the Type menu. Note that there is a button at the bottom to also change the font inside styles applied.

  But really, you need to take at least a quick glance at the re-definition of styles. "Heavy", not really - it only takes a few clicks.
