  In order to be able to define your own label for a menu item, you would use a manual type menu. Other types of menus inherit page name as a Label for the menu items that you set in Page Properties or Plan mode.

  Or you could exclude the "HOME page" of the Menu options via the context menu in Plan/Design mode.

  Used an impressive icon of police of an aircraft (f-plane), but needed a helicopter, so have an Image of custom Application (png image) loaded as a static application file.  Unfortunately, it does not display at runtime.  (There have also as .ico, .jpg, and .gif).

  No, what you're missing, it's that the APEX 5.0 navigation menu item universal theme has none supported directly including pictures of work/application space by specifying them in the Class/Image property list entry. The menu is not rendered using the markup generated by the list of navigation menu. Instead, it is used as the data model, from the widget menu real tree. The list of standard navigation menu template includes not one img element refers to the value of property for Class/Image as an image source. There is no need to change the list template to do this, or using another model as the tree view transform has not approved the img (or any other attribute custom) elements in the generated tree.

  Hello experts,

  I'm experimenting with more specific and APEX 5.0 component exports with export and import of lists.

  DEV, I have a list that is my navigation menu (user interface attributes > desktop > navigation menu > list of navigation menu).

  I add an entry to this list and make an export of this specific list pane only.

  In the TEST, I import this list into the same request with the same application ID and the ID workspace. The list of imports correctly and everything seems fine.

  Except that now my list is no longer my list of navigation menu. I need to change the attributes of user interface and reallocate this list as my navigation menu manually.

  Is this intentional behavior or my computer run into a problem here?

  For me, it's not intentional behaviour.

  I want to be able to update my list and there is record in the navigation menu without having to completely install my application.

  Any input/advice on that?

  Your screenshot, it seems that your system can have an administrator BIOS set password.   If the Medhi account is not an administrator of BIOS, I think these options would be grayed out.  You can refer to Chapter 9 of the

  HP laptop user Guide for more information on the security settings of the BIOS.

  Please note that if you are the administrator / owner of the system and forgot the BIOS administrator password and you have created a HP SpareKey, that allows you to reset the password.  If you do not have an HP SpareKey, you should contact HP support for your country / region and they will help you reset the password.

• Pull the bottom of the Navigation Menu problems

  Hey, I got my navigation to proceed, but have met a few roadblocks. First of all, if you look at:

  you will see the navigation in place. Although I don't see the pulldowns. I think it has something to do with the order of overflow in #masthead. The changes I made to the order of infinity (e.g. visible, auto, etc.) cause the mast-head down and navigation appears at the top of the masthead image. I took out the navigation as a separate just to test the drop downs:

  and you can see that drop downs work but once they are inserted with the site they are be hidden.

  Does anyone have advice or lawyers?

  Ironically, absolute positioning comes to the rescue.  Follow these steps:

  1. remove the overflow: hidden style of the #masthead rule and replace it with ' border-top: 1px solid black;'.  Two of these styles were designed to stop the top margin on the #menu div escapes above #masthead to push down (reason why it seemed that the menu was stuck at the top of the mast-head when you first removed the style of overflow).

  2. Add ' position: relative ' to the #masthead rule, so that the menu div that we'll work on then have masthead as a position reference point.

  3. Add "position: absolute" rule of #menu so that it rises on the masthead div and not affected by its assigned height.

  4. Add "z-index: 999' it out WAYYY z-index: 1 by default, layering order."

  You should now have a convenient menu.  And, I might add, which is very pretty.

• Fonts sets in the Navigation of CHM pane

  Hello world.

  One of our suites will be published for the first time using WebHelp Pro as its main output but with a CHM as a backup file in case the customer's internet connection fails or is not present.

  To cut a long story short, we have a font defined for use with our release of Webhelp Pro that allows for Windows and Apple Mac fonts. We apply this to all our styles and are looking at other places where it can be used (e.g. skin). One of them is the Navigation pane to be used in the CHM file. It seems that you cannot use a font defined during the definition of the characteristics of the police of the table of contents and Index in the advanced options of the layout of the only source of Microsoft HTML Help.

  I know this isn't really a problem because CHM files are only designed to run on Windows computers and Windows fonts that we use as part of the font set are likely to be installed at 99.9%. However, I'm more interested in how the font in the navigation pane. The fact that you cannot specify a font scheme (I checked this in RH8 and RHX5) seems to indicate that the font setting is part of the compiled file, making it a pointless game in this case of fonts. Or maybe it was an oversight.

  Not much to add, really. In HTML help, you can define was:

  • A single font to use in all aspects of navigation in the help (specified in the OPTIONS section of the .hhp file) window.
  • A single font to use in the content pane only (shown at the beginning of the .hhc file).
  • A single font to use in the Index only (shown at the beginning of the file .hhk) pane.

  Any specification policyholders in the .hhc file overrides in the .hhp file. Specify a font in the .hhk file does not seem to work at all.

  If you do not specify a font in any of these places, MS Sans Serif is used by default.

  Although you can change the entire library or storefront, I don't think you can go as far as it modifies the actual Viewer UI.

• In Bayside part 6 I am trying to create a trigger for the navigation menu link

  I followed the instructions in the tutorial to insert the new h2 named Menu, added to the #menulink element, and in mode code, the code is as in the example of the tutorial.  I don't see #menulink in the list of selectors.  I don't get #menulink by the h2 in the NIV.  Was an int missing the step of the tutorial, or who should I have hurt.

  You can do it, if you build you own menu all items of your choice:

  For example place a rectangle and assign a link to a page of your choice by using the Hyperlink command in the upper command band.

  Click on the word "Hyperlink" to the left of the hypertext link input area, then assign a ToolTip of your choice.

• Setting for the main menu audio volume problem

  Disc Menus, using the menu template of Ladybug that comes with first Pro Elements 9 and has chosen an audio clip to use as the intro Music tab.  I need to adjust that lists the volume to better adapt the basic video/audio level.  Ideas?  The audio mixer panel shows not only the beach.

  I think that Audacity, or similar, is the best way to handle this.

  As I usually do DD 5.1 SS, for my projects and my Menus, I just create a sequence of Menu in PrPro and edit my Audio (or video may be too, if I have a groundswell in the Menu), but like the pre doesn't have sequences, we could create a new project to do this. Yes, Audacity would be much easier.

  I have a few buttons on my navigation bar that must be clicked once highlighted, so users know they are. The script works well except the first click. The mc changes however the button isn't highliged. Have it click then everything to normal.

  I found the problem - you were right, I was booting not my variables in the main timeline. Once I did that, everything worked dandy.

  Thanks for your help.  I didn't know that I couldn't have an h7 tag, I had a quick glance and guess I can use only 1-6.

  I know it's a different problem, but can watch you my left nav please.  On all my pages except my index page, is to show correctly and I do not understand because because I just copied my nav from one page to the other so really confused. On my index finger, I have a spare box!
