SG-300 GAL speed

Dear forumers,

I am setting up two SG - 300 switches at the present time, and I'm trying to connect them with two cables.

I set up the LAG like this (on two switches):

LAG001.jpg

And got the following result:

LAG002.jpg

This means that my connection is only 1 Gbps, or everything is OK, I'm 2 Gbps?

For the moment, I can't preform a test with several computers at the same time copy and check the total speed. How can I make sure that the speed of the LAG is greater than 1 Gbps?

Best regards

Adam Raksi

Hi Adam,.

It isn't really a particular way to measure there are software tools that can measure traffic as IPERF.

The LAG works in a way he'll negotiate link speed. Each physical port must not exceed 1 g, it will display 1 g. However, as you already know, the OFFSET is joining several physical ports to a port group that is "combine" ports to increase the speed by using a load balancing algorithm.

Many times physically measure a flow LAG is very difficult because the file transfer must be really big to reach the potential of port group.

    Hello

I'm sure you have lots of experience with desktop computers, but the construction of portable computers is completely different. The unit for mobile notebooks hardware configuration has been designed as economy of space. Please don t get me wrong, but there is no way to do it yourself.
It is very important that the CPU is connected to the motherboard using a permanent connection method.

  • HP Pavilion 15 N: Wireless Card (300 Mbps Capable with Bluetooth 4.0) for HP laptop (product number: E6G00PA-#ACJ)

I want to upgrade the current mini pci wireless card to a more capable wifi card. I searched and found that the BIOS can be on a white list and some cards will not work. Please suggest a card that is able to do 300 Mbps speed connection and with bluetooth 4.0.

He is also a processor AMD PC. What's an intel based work WiFi card mini pci?

    Thanks in advance.

Replaced the RALINK card with an atheros AR5B22 card and it works fine. BIOS is NOT in the whitelist.

  • Satellite A200-1GC (PSAE3E) how to disable the WLAN switch?

    Hello everyone,
is it possible to disable this stupid wlan switch, which prevents any new wlan card working properly? I tried to install several different wireless network cards: Intel 5100, Intel 5300 etc. Each card was working properly (Device Manager), but the wlan led not lit. Windows 7 64 bit always says, I should switch. But the switch is already turined. I installed the additional package of value also. The Fn + F8 key combination just doesn't work. When I install the old WiFi Intel 3945 card, then everything works well: the wlan led beds and so on. All reviews of toshiba in charge of people maybe?
    Kind regards
    Igor

I found a solution by myself. I cut the wire on my WIFI 5100 leading to pin 20 on the map. Still, the switch does not, now, does not prevent my card work nomally. Now I have plenty of 300 Mbps speed. :)
Another option would be to cover the pin 20 on the map with a tape for example.

  • HP Pavilion DV7 4121er Wi - Fi upgrade possible?

I have HP Pavilion DV7 4121er with Ralink RT3090 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter onboard. This works only with 2.5 Ghz and 150Mbps 802.11n networks limited. So, is it possible to replace this Wi - Fi card lame 5\5Ghz 2, support and 300 Mbps speed wireless to another?

    Hello:

It could be one, but I can't say 100% for sure.

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop:

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02666747.PDF

I see the module 4322 Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN, which is a dual-band card, but note that it states that it is only for the dv7 -40portable xx.

I wonder if they meant dv7-4xxx, or are the only good card for dv-4000 series, but not the series 4100-4900?

If no, there is no other.

You must only get a card support with HP number thereon, or it won't work. Your laptop does not even start until you remove the unsupported card.

If you want to take a chance on the map above, make sure you get the card with the part number that will work for the country or region of the world in which you live.

If you live in the USA/Canada, you can order the map on the link below. HP can take a return to this topic, if this does not work, but I can't guarantee it.  You will need to talk to them.

  • Fan speed Qosmio X 300 does not change

    Hello!

As explained above my speed of the fan in Qosmio X 300 remains always the same despite an overheating of the CPU and GPU!
Only when I start my PC actually before the Windows logon the fan produces a bit more sound then when Windows 7 connects him to calm down!

Also when I watch Blue-ray movie to a file .iso via Daemon Tools and ArcSoft TotalMedia Theater 3 the movie play on 10-15
minutes, and then the graphics and the music becomes to slow down with "stutters", then the PC stops!
Sometimes when X 300 stays on for a long time you can stop himself!

The strangest thing is that despite the various software that I tested, such as SpeedFan, SensorsView RivaTuner nTune, none who allows me to
to control the speed of the fan because when I try to access, it is just grayed out!

As for you, guys and gurus, faced with a similar problem? You have any suggestions?

Is this behaviour normal fan? Is it's speed and its evolution on your X 300?

    Hey,.

You can change the speed of the fan in the Windows power management. There you can switch between a maximum performance and battery optimized as described in this article:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD84026Q0000R01.htm

In addition if your laptop is 3 or 4 months, I recommend you to clean the cooling system using a jet of compressed air. This is why you should not disassemble and it could blow the dust from the cooling fans.

  • Do not get the speed of a band of N on WiFi... No. 300 Mbps!

I have the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 and I get only 144.0 Mbps when I should get around 300 Mbps. What should I do? My router is a band capible N 300 Mbps. Is this a hardware problem? Everyone there understands why it does this? I've updated the drivers!

Looks like your wireless network is working very well.

It's a two-way traffic, so the effective speed is usually half of the rated speed. Basically, half of the pipeline is used for each direction (computer to the router and vice versa), and that's if there is a single device on the network.

300 Mbps is shared between all devices on your network, so if you have several computers and tablets, etc. do stuff on the network at the same time, everyone gets a part of 300.

144 seems actually straight if you have just a computer that is running at the moment.

  • Time Warner 300 + slow airport6 2.5 ghz

TWC move to 300 Mbps. 6th generation airport and spend my motorola modem to modem of TWC.  No AE in use.   The speeds are fine with 5 GHz, but the distance is limited.  Using 2.5 ghz in the only area of the House is slower than before the upgrade. Is there a way to fix this so the area that happens to 2.5 ghz is at least as fast as it was before the upgrade?  Sharon

It is difficult to know the problem without knowing the full configuration.

What modem router TWC has provided for you?

Is the extreme connected by ethernet and you factory reset it after the change... Is it important?

Extreme is bridged or Setup as a router?

If the TWC router is wireless you need manual set channels. So go the TWC and set the channel Wireless 2.4 ghz to 1 and on the channel to 11 extreme game.

Tell us how you test the speed... because not all settings will work the same.

TWC has changed to IPv6 in many areas, and you must follow these guidelines... (For comcast, but they work for both).

This should be relevant when you use a pure cable modem not a router modem.

  • How can I speed up my middle mouse button scrolling?

When I try to scroll down using the middle mouse button, it goes so slow I can't, so I use the scroll bar to the right. It's embarrassing for me. When I reset the button of the mouse on my windows to multiple lines, it allows to scroll too fast for my docs, but does not affect the scrolling in FireFox. I have looked for tools and options for this and cannot find anything to do about it.

You can try to change one (or two) of these hidden parameters:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the wheel and take a break while the list is filtered

(3A) double-click the preference mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_y and type a higher value to each movement of the wheel to cover more ground. For example, you can try 300 or 500. You can keep this tab open and to experiment with scrolling in a different tab until you find a value that gives you the speed you are looking for.

(3B) double-click the preference mousewheel.system_scroll_override_on_root_content.vertical.factor and type a higher value. For example, try changing from 200 to 500. You can keep this tab open and to experiment with scrolling in a different tab until you find a value that gives you the speed you are looking for.

I'm not sure I understand the reason why there are two such similar tariff preferences. One of them do you want?

  • About Airport Express speed

So I have an airport express 802.11n 1 St gen. I just had a new place and got a TWC modem with internet high speed 200/20. To maximize the speed of the internet, I bought my router? And if not what device would be capable of managing the total capacity of the modem (the 2nd gen vs extreme). Thank you very much!

The AirPort Express... the 2nd Gen version... or 1st generation has a 100 Mbps Ethernet port, which would be the theoretical maximum connection speed which is the version of the Express could bring.

The AIrPort Extreme has a 1 000 Mbit/s Ethernet port, so he won't have any trouble to manage a 200 Mbps Internet connection... and much more if it is higher speeds are available.

On a 300 Mbps connection here with TWC Internet, AirPort Extreme usually book on 325-330 Mbits / s, indicating that TWC gives more than they promised.

  • Slow down the speed of the Internet with TC Gen 5 and Time Warner Modem

I use the 3 TB Gen 5 Time Capsule and Time Warner Cable Modem. Recently, TWC has increased the speed of internet download at 300 Mbps. using TWC speed Test I get about 95 not only when you're using TWC Wi - Fi, but also when my iMac is directly connected to the TC by ethernet. I get almost 300 Mbps when TWC Modem is connected directly to the iMac by ethernet. I'm surprised that the speed of WI - Fi is nearly one-third, but more surprised than speed is also a third when connected by ethernet. I don't understand how the TC and TWC modem work together. My use of TWC rather that TC Wi - Fi Modem Wi - Fi has been recommended by Apple Support when they helped put in place the TC about six months ago. I don't know what I should be waiting. TWC has replaced the cable Modem so that is not the culprit. TWC also said speed of 300 the Modem must be connected directly to ethernet to the computer. There may be a configuration problem or a lack of understanding on my part. To unravel it any help would be appreciated.

Fixed: using the TWC speed Test I get about 95 not only during use of the TC Wi - Fi, but when my iMac is directly connected to the TC by ethernet.

  • SATA on Tecra S11 speed

    Hello

I'm looking for a tecra S11 sata connection speed.
I want to replace my ssd for the greater and I was wondering if I could win something when I buy a sata-600 drive instead of the sata-300 that I use at the moment.
I use an OCZ vertex II now (120 GB)
I would go for the OCZ vertex 3 (256 GB), but this one has connection sata-600.

will this work? and the sata-600 enjoy my system?

    Kind regards

    Luke

    > I would go for the OCZ vertex 3 (256 GB), but this one has connection sata-600

SATA 600 means SATA III standard that support the theoretical 600 Mbps transfer speed

SATA III is backward compatible with SATA I and II.
So you can use the SSD 600 MB/s (SATA revision 3.0) in connection with SATA I and SATA II. But of course, the speed would be limited to these standards.

AFAIK the Tecra S11 supports SATA 2.5 Rev (gen 2) which means that it is SATA II limited to 300 MB/s
