  On Cisco WLC internal DHCP, you can add the option 43 to say where APs must register. In this case, they will try to resolve the DNS CISCO-CAPWAP-CONTROLLER or CISCO-LWAPP entry.

  Let me explain briefly how AP-Manager works on WLC:

  1. Boots of Access Point and sends a discovery request to the management interface of the controller using the intellectual property you configured as DHCP Option 43 (as described above, it can be resolved by the DNS entry)
  2. Controller, sends it a response discovered that contains the name of the system, addresses AP-Manager, the number of access points already connected to each interface AP-Manager and the overall capacity of the controller.
  3. Joints access point controller using the less loaded interface AP Manager.

  Last year when I had the time, I reset the settings, wiped and restored the iPhone, etc, to try to get continuity works again.   I guess you have tried to sign your iCloud (on all devices) account, signing in?  If you tried and it did not work, and this problem is ongoing for you for a year, my next suggestion would be to call Apple Support (link at the bottom of the page) or make an appointment with an employee at the Genius Bar in an Apple store.

  I try to use the bluetooth in my X 230 to connect my laptop with my cell phone. I want to be able to use my cell phone as a personal hotspot, where I am in an area where no WiFi secure.   The Revel app on your mac has ever worked before? Given that the app is being inadmissible, I would say to uninstall and reinstall the application.

  Here is the instrucations to achieve this.

  -Uninstall the app

  -Click on the Finder menu go > go to folder > and enter: ~/Library/Containers

  -Delete this folder and its contents: ~/Library/Containers/com.adobe.Carousel.mac

  -Re-install goto Adoberevel.com app to install.

  -Connect again

  Well, this seems to be my bad. It turns out that the bug I reported only appears on an older version of Safari (1.0.3) as well as the latest version of Flash Player (9). A new version of Safari doesn't have the problem and Funnily enough the old version of Safari mentioned above with the old version of Flash Player (8 or earlier) is not the problem either.

  Anyway, because the version of Safari that I was testing is really old, I am convinced that this problem will not affect my users.

  Thanks a bunch to look into it and put me on the right track.

  I bought the HP 6700, I tried to scan for the last 2 days! It works very well with my husband's computer (a PC), but it won't work with my MAC 10.9.2! When I try to activate the scanning to computer it just says "communication error".

  2 re-install the drivers (3 times).

  3. repair disk permissions

  Try scanning from your Mac. Use Image Capture app in your Applications folder.

  Click once on the scanner on the left side, and then click Show details on the background. Along the right side you will see MANY options for scanning and recording.
