• ASA5505 VPN Site to site and limiting access - URGENT

  I'll admit knowledge limited to the front, so forgive me if I look like a fool.  The company that I work began recently to hosting our application for some of our customers. to do this, we are renting rack space, connections and equipment in a data center.  We must send data to our request for an application in the center of data of our customers.  They have an ASA 5505.

  Our data center will support VPN site-to-site and nothing else.  Our client find it unacceptable, citing security and the inability to restrict access to only the small number of servers, our application needs to access.  I have to be able to talk intelligently and with the facts (and, preferably, examples of configuration on hand) with their staff of the IOC and network in the next day or so.

  The ASA 5505 can be configured for a VPM from site to site with our data center which limits our application server to access a limited set of IP addresses within their network?  If so, this is quite easily possible?  Anyone done this?

  Leighton,

  Sounds complicated problem - but are simple actuall.  Remember that a VPN ensures the transmission from site A to site B on a precarious environment - internet.  For example, you can DEFINE the traffic that goes through the VPN, you also DEFINE the traffic that will launch the VPN tunnel in the first place.  With these statements said - using your supposed information you would create valuable traffic as the exact traffic you want to allow through the vpn;

  access-list permits datacentre_2_client tcp host 1.2.3.4 host 192.168.1.2 eq 1521

  And you will use the same ACL to set which can cross traffic.  However, I know for a fact that an ODBC Oracle connection uses more than one TCP port!

  The confidentiality of data is something else - that your customer needs to define requirements.  An SSL connection is fine and dandy - you will just be to encrypt the traffic twice!

  I'm in my Photoshop CC trial period and would like to buy a full as soon as possible. However, I see little gradient and forms in trial version.

  Will I get shades and shapes more if I buy the full version? I saw the tutorial where the guardian has many shapes and gradients.

  As far as I know, there is no difference in the amount of presets, such as shapes or gradients between the trial and turned on the version

  Photoshop.

  People can of course add more shapes and gradients, so it is possible that this person has.

  Have you looked at menus drop down to gradients and shapes?

  I fill my col1 with a trigger to insert berfore
  
  I built an application apex with a page of report and form table above.
  
  my end user can create new records through the page of application form (form page shows and allows only col2, col3 to be filled)
  
  Once the folder is created by the user, if you change the same record (by clicking on the Edit ICON present before that particular record) only col3 must appear as editable in the form page to be updated by the user.

  Hi Ajay,

  When navigate from a link pass (change ICON) tell application "UPDATE" and:
  (1) make col1 and col2 as disabled / ReadOnly at the request of UPDATE. (using the Action dynamics or other means)
  (If you disable and operation of update in which you use disabled items that you must re-enable submit it)
  (2) conditionally display items that are not displayed col1 and col2 on request UPDATE.

• Drawing a triangle shape through a script, reading a limits of the selection and the pointer of the mouse?

  It's a little more complicated, I guess...

  

  I am looking for a way to automate the work I do for a manga magazine - cartoon or whatever they are called... I have a dialog box in an oval shape that is already formatted with a style of object to look like the oval in the left part of my image. I would like the script to read the position of the mouse pointer - I ran the script after selecting the oval and the place where the oval must point hover with the mouse... (In the picture so you can imagine my cursor somewhere in the lower left of the image, in the second part of the image corresponding to the angle of the triangle) I imagined this operation in at least two steps, the triangle (arrow) of the oval is a separate object (I would join the two forms later). The triangle can be with streight lines or maybe a little bent, for a most desirable look. I have no idea where to start, for now I create ovals and duplicate the triangle an old and position (+ turn) until I'm happy, after that I could join them. I hope the picture can better explain what I'm looking for.

  I know it is hard work - I think it may be useful for others, as it would be a good challenge for the very smart Scripting Guys of this forum...

• Report Excel capps outside in VI (256 columns) in a sheet? How can I get more? Why it limits when excel can do more columns?

  Well, I seem to have encountered a problem and the cantseem of find anythign about it. For some reason, it seems that when I add data to excel it capps out if it goes beyond the 256th colunm who is VI in excel. For some reason any sheet just stop there. But if I manually open a xls document in excel I cn see it goes well beyond that. Can someone help me solve this problem?

  I don't have and LV on this computer, but I remember xls files are limited to 256 columns. Did you try to save a xlsx file?

• How can I get good results from the detection of matching/shape of reason for this image?

  I need to be able to identify all nine squares in the first image (0000094718...) and others like him.  I tried to detect shape, filtering and geometric pattern match.  I tried to vary all parameters within these functions.  I tried the image preprocessing (and the model, if any: usually created from only one of the boxes) with thresholding and/or a muliplier before using the detection or the corresponding function and I still can not get all nine boxes and only these nine boxes.

  Can someone offer some help?  Ideally I would be able to use the shape detection, because it returns the coordinates of the corner rectangles and those who are particularly useful to me.  What confuses me about this feature, is that after setting the width/height minimum/maximum of rectangles to find, the program seems to ignore these instructions and returns matches outside these limits.

  It would be even better to be able to have a script which will identify all nine boxes in two attached images.  The boxes in the second image (X820A32) are more square.

  Try the attached script.  I think that you use only may not be the optimal threshold values.  You may find that you want to use a smoothing filter before making the threshold.  This should also help with nuisance particles.

  Heres my PC info:

  -Current photo editing software: www.paint.net (similar to Microsoft Paint )

  -Image main edition format: BMP

  I have a personal collection of 10 years ofhundreds of FOLDERS containingthousands of FILES to image BMP image. Even if there are years that I had named FOLDERS and FILES with necessarily long names, I was still able to immediately Open ,view , and modify one of these years (and that icontinually still need to do).

  Many of these FILES are images of old vintagemagazine covers (FILE FOLDERand appoints State the title of theperiodical and Publisher), while many other arenecessarily the names of the descriptive RECORD of the domestic magazine images .

  Here is an example of 31 characters in a FOLDER name ofmagazine cover :

  PROBLEM URGENT:

  For a long time, I could immediatelyOpen , view , and Edit ALL of these FOLDERS and FILES (which I need constantly to be done),, but now...

  - If the FOLDER name is 15 characters , when Left clicked, the FILE isNOT open!

  - If the FILE name is more than 22 characters long , the image doesNOT open for preview ("preview " is then missing from the menu drop-down "), or for editing!

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Because a lot of these FILE names arenecessarily the titles of journals (and the names of the publishers) descriptive ornecessarily for other image FILES, I canNOT shorten these important names of FOLDERS and FILES!

  QUESTION: Why I was able to open instantly, view and modify any these long name and FILESbefore , but NOT now ?

  QUESTION: What can I do (or re - set in the FILES Windows system ) so that I can stillOpen , view , and modify these FILES and FOLDERS?

  It is difficult to say with certainty, but the only limitation of size of Windows I know with the file/folder names is the full path name cannot exceed 255 characters.  This means that the full path to your file or directory (as in "C:\Documents and Settings\Alexander\My Documents\magazines\ [...]" "") cannot exceed 255 - ish characters total.  If this is your problem, you can work with this is to move your files more closely to the c:\ root directory.  Another is to deal with it to bring up a command prompt window (start-> Run-> "cmd") and use the command SUBST:
  SUBST S: "C:\Documents and Settings\Alexander\My Documents\magazines"
  .. who will create a "S" disk that starts at the level of the "magazines" folder so you can access files by using your "S:" designation to drive and save a lot of characters in the path/name of the global file.

  That said, it is always possible that your application has put yet more restrictive lengths on the names of files/folders.  In this case, it is out of scope for this forum and you will have to contact the author of this program or to set up a different photo editing program.

• 'Limited' network connectivity

  I put my two PC (a Vista and XP) together via a single network (without router or internet) cable network. Then I turned on all the Vista network settings and disabled/removed all password-protected sharing and all available to anyone, since there was no internet to worry about virus problems. Then I wet to the XP machine and tried to do the same thing, but in the end, there was a message that I had to write a network installation disc to put in shape all the other computers on my network in the same way. I didn't do that.

  Then, once I rebooted both PCs, the XP machine had a network icon in the notification area of the taskbar that the network was "limited connectivity or none", even if all the shared files are visible and accessible. On the Vista machine, it don't ware no message of the kind. Meanwhile, on the XP machine, only users who have been directors may access the shared elements, even though I disabled all the password and put at the disposal of all the shared files to everyone.

  My problems:
  -Why is there an icon in the notification area on my XP machine indicating that my network is "limited or no connectivity"? How can I fix?
  -How can I leave all users, even those who are not administrators, being able to access all files?

  Note: I posted this question in the forums of the Windows Vista and XP.

  If you're just networking locally and does not seek to do anything from the outside, you can leave them blank. For local area networks, you just need a SM/IP/GW.

  You can still set to send and send and receive limits for mailboxes in Exchange on a Unity voicemail configuration - this will control the maximum size of mailboxes can reach.

• Integration of URGENT: CWMS Question

  I have a question about integration with CUCM CWMS.

  Customer wishes to have 2 CWMS integrations separated with the same cluster of CUCM. It will use 2 Admin and 2 URLS of the user.

  This is, is this possible integration with the same Cluster of CUCM?

  Reason is, he got 3 UCS 220M 3 boxes and wants to use 2 of them in HA mode and 1 as standalone integration with the same cluster of CUCM.

  Please note the UCS that the client has obtained is compatible for the deployment of 250 users only and that he bought 2, 250 licenses so total 500 licenses.

  Idea is to have 2 UCS in HA mode and the third one independent but integrated whole with the same cluster of CUCM.

  It's quite urgent.

  Hi Rajiv,

  These two separate systems of CWMS will have two access to different numbers? These two separate systems will have the same user base (will integrate you with LDAP on CUCM using AXL)?

  In theory, there is no limitation on the number of solutions CWMS you can have with a single CUCM cluster. You have different models of road, SIP trunks, etc. for each of the systems.

  I understand that your WiFi connection fails.
  According to the guidelines of the error (the default gateway is not available), there is a problem with the gateway IP address that does not connect to the internet.

  a note of the IP address of the computer. To do this open command prompt, type ipconfig and press to enter. This displays the IP address, make a note of it.

  To manually assign the IP address and default gateway, follow these steps:
  a. in the system, right click on network icon tray. Choose the open network and sharing.

  b. click on change adapter settings

  c. right-click on the card's wireless connection and click on properties.

  d. Double click on Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Protocol and assign the IP address manually.
  Example: Old Ip address is 192.168.0.1
  Replace the IP 192.168.0.50
  e. leave the subnet mask and default gateway are the same.
  Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
  Gateway by default, would usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
  f. click apply then click Ok and restart the computer and check if it helps to solve the problem.

  If the method above does not work, proceed to the next method.

  The problem has probably been reached.

  Since your laptop, search for "cmd", and then select the desired result 'cmd.exe '.

  A DOS window opens, in the DOS window type this

  netsh wlan show all

  All WiFi around your laptop will now be listed individually with its channel number and the strength of the signal.

  Review the list and choose a channel which is less used (or not) and the lower signal strength.

  Don't forget, you only have channels 1 to 11 to the choice. They are to each other as much interference.

  Now go to your router and change the channel to one that you just took. DON'T worry that your router said on the selected channel.

  That sees your router is not serious, what is important is what sees your laptop.

  You may need to move with your laptop computer in your House to find a 'good' receiver spot. Another location in your House can give different results. In addition, you may need to repeat this according to how your neighbor of WiFi to behave.

• HypOpenForm with the composite shapes

  In trying to open the composite shapes using HypOpenForm in Excel, I always get an unknown error 60000.  I suspect it's because that opening the results of composite shapes in a new workbook without connection associated with it.

  Can anyone confirm that hypopenform will not work with the composite shapes?

  I did a few tests more on it, it seems that there is a limitation preventing the loading of composite forms, BUT you can load hidden forms that are part of this composite form, and you could re-create your form by opening the parts individually.
