share media

I have two xp pc, wmp11 and uverse tv and the internet. I don't see anything to allow or disallow sharing of media. XP is itself excluded from the part of media? I see a lot of talk about vista on a pc and xp on another.

  • Cannot share media to the xbox 360.

Well, I have window vista pc, connected to a router and then connected to the xbox. Xbox can't find PCs. I went through all the trouble I can find, including measures of fire open all ports associated with the WMP network sharing Service. Everytime I open WMP it says that the network share is disabled, I go through the steps to enable it, and it shows me the xbox, I allow the media to the device, but still cannot connect. When I look in services.msc in Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service is said, he was arrested, I click on start and it gives me an error 1068: the dependency service or group could start. I'm fairly certain that if I can get this service started my media sharing will work... But I don't know how to do... Any help would be appreciated.

This year last my computer has ceased to connect to xbox, I started to use tversity and that worked very well, but now it does not work yet. :(

    Hi Seemonkey08,

Check first if the Discovery SSDP and UPnP device host are started. If not started, then try to start these services first and try to start Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service.

    1. log in to your computer as an administrator.

    2. click on start and then click Run.

    3. in the run box, type services.msc.

4 in Services, find "SSDP and UPnP services device host ", and then verify that the status column is started.

    5. If the services are stopped, double-click services. A window should appear.

    6. in this window, make sure the startup type is "automatic".

    7. click on the Start button in this window to start the services.

    8. check the State of Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and start the services

    9. close the windows services and see if you can view your media on Xbox.

    Hope this information is useful.

my Media Player isn't a media option leaves so I can't share my music with my XBOX 360

Please read this: share your media in Windows Media Player
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/share-your-media-in-Windows-Media-Player-with-other-people-or-devices

    Excerpt...
If media sharing is not already enabled, you must enable it by following these steps:

    1. Click on the arrow under the Library tab, and then clickMedia shares.

    2. In the media sharing dialog box, select her share my media check box.

If you cannot select the share my media check box, you might not be connected to a private network. For your protection, media sharing is automatically disabled when you are connected to a public network. In addition, if you are connected to a domain network, your network administrator can help you turn on media sharing.

If you think that Windows identified by mistake your private network as a public network, you can manually change your network settings. • Share media online for businesses?

The ""What's New ' page (June output section) xD mentions these features for this version: "

Online support for businesses to share
Companies can now share their prototypes safely with the members of the team by going to online sharing services.

    Management of company dashboard
Control and protect creative content assets and design by deploying tools through the Adobe Enterprise Dashboard.

I am not able to find more information about these new features and are not yet able to discover in the application itself. Is there more information on these?

    Hi Nathan,

If your organization has has a company with Adobe for creative cloud with services account, then your COMPUTER administrator has a dashboard with options to disable certain services for the Organization (often for security reasons). These services include services creative cloud as the use of creative cloud for storage, access Behance or Typekit. The option to disable the feature XD share online for an organization has recently been added to enterprise dashboards that admins control.

This feature is not something that individual users will see.

We are currently working on the development of this description to make it clearer for users.

  • First on sew creative, share media files

I want to share a project on creative cloud. I can download (can my partner download) all mediafiles (40 GB) for the creation of clouds or I have to send the files in another way? I downloaded everything, but it seems, 5 minutes from really got time uploaded

First of all make sure that you and your colleague are tired of 40 GB storage. The storage quota you have depends on the type of subscription you have:

Looking at the metadata in your account, I see that you have saved a Premiere Pro project. Please specify "I downloaded everything, but it seems, at 5 Minutes of the time really got downloaded". Which file or files shows only 5 minutes to 1 hour?

    Hai

I downloaded R12.2.0 for Linux (probably in January 2015!)

Now for testing purposes I would install it & then upgrade to the latest version as well as on Virtualbox Linux.

But during the construction of the stadium, I found that a part is missing: reference number: V29764-01 (Oracle Fusion Middleware Web Tier utility 11 g Patch Set 5)

How to get this file missing? I tried to search on delivery & MOS.

But a little later Oracle Fusion Middleware Web Tier utility 11g Patch Set 6 is available for download. Will it work? If I download this, then can I download other files also?

OR, should I raise SR in order to order this part.

    Thank you very much.

  • WMP11 ' share my media to "box is empty

Starts to go a little crazy after days of trawling through forums to resolve this - I hope someone can help.

I installed a Sony Bravia TV with wifi connectivity - it connects to the internet via my router fine.

I want to share media (music, photos, videos) on my home PC which is running XP (SP3) Media Centre Edition 2002 on television. The home PC is connected to the router.

In WMP11, I turn on media sharing, but the box where I should see the icon of the Bravia is totally empty. It doesn't even show "of other users of this computer.

I use the Windows Firewall and the trend (without firewall) titanium - these two turn off doesn't make any difference.

My wife's cell phone is running VISTA and has a router on the same wifi connectivity. If I go in WMP11 on his computer and turn on media sharing, the icon of the Bravia is there and sharing on TV works fine (except most of the media I want to share is not on his machine...) Sharing on his machine in WMP11 box also shows an icon for "other users of this computer. In 'Network', the Bravia also appears in the visible list of devices, as well as the PC at home.

On the XP PC, my network places does not show the Bravia - it shows VISTA laptop for my wife.

What to change on the XP machine to see the Bravia TV?

I know this question has been asked a lot, mainly by PS3 users, but nothing I read or tried has solved this problem for an invisible TV.

    Thank you.

    Peter

Seems that the firmware must come through the ISP, because it is in their cable network interface. Will follow with them and see.

Thanks for working with me on this.

    See you soon,.

  • C00D0FF4 error message when you try to share the media in the Player Windows Media Player 11 and Vista Home Premium SP2 64-bit

    Hello
I can't share my media using WMP 11.  When I try to do, opens a window of options asking how I want to share media files (with xbox, other users, etc.), and I select the options and click OK.  Then, when I return in the sharing of multimedia files to see if the media are indeed shared, a window opens informing me "Media sharing has been disabled because a required Windows setting or component has been changed. For any additional help, click Help on the Web. When I click Web help, the error code above, with a few troubshooting not.  You must ensure that Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service is turned on.  However, when I get to the list of Services, WMP Network Sharing is not.  It is also a step to confirm the ownership of a registry subkey.  When I try to access the subkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences\HME\ [security ID], however, there is no security ID subkey.  Instead of that, by virtue of the MCH, there is a list of "default (name), REG_SZ (type) and not the value (data)".

Suggestions about how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.  Would it be useful to simply uninstall WMP and start over?  If so, how to do that?  I saw an obvious way to do it.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

  • I do not see my PS3 in the box "share my media to.

I tried many things and still do not see my PS3 in the media part in boxing trying to share Media Player.  I know not if appears as unknown device, but I don't see that either.  I finished reloaded Vista and still no luck.  I can connect to the internet through it, and that works fine, can also ping.  It appears in the 'LAN devices list"in my router wireless so I don't think it's a router problem.  I checked that all necessary services are running after looking on the web for a solution.

Another strange thing, it's that he sees my HR20 DirecTV as a media server, which is located on the same network.  It's very strange to me that they can see each other by my PC can't seem to see my PS3.

No idea why I can't share photos, music and video to my PS3 from my Vista PC.

You will also need to manage the network set up on any PC to ensure that file sharing is actually active. Your router must also have UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) enabled otherwise, your PS3 will not be displayed.

If your PC/PS3 is wired or wireless is not relevant. If they use the same router to connect to internet thenpotentially they are on the same network, but the necessary network settings allow the flow of traffic.

Your work laptop is probably set up to work on a business network, most of which do not allow the streaming media for the parameters would be disabled. (I'd say leaving them ths way, otherwise he cannot connect to the network at your workplace when you come back!)
