  Adobe change Acrobat a lot between releases. Make sure you follow instructions to the same version you have.

  If this looks OK, let us know the exact version you have (help > about Acrobat Pro).

  The result is that Adobe does not provide any software to defeat the security of a PDF file. If the creator of the PDF file set to this level of security, intentionally or not, that's what it is! The solution to your problem is to go to the creator of the document and ask the password or an unprotected PDF file version.

• Suddenly a double click on a PDF document opens the Acrobat application, but the document does not load.

  Sounds like a Windows problem. Try right-clicking and select ALWAYS open with feature. Who is supposed to fix the link. If this does not work, open the type of file under TOOLS menu > Folder Options (display XP, can be different in VISTA). If you select advanced as PDF, you get a link under the open > modify something like "c:\adobeapp\acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe" '%1 '. The comment you make looks like %1 or quotes are missing.   My Adobe Reader X software! worked very well in the function "Read Out Loud". I just downloaded Acrobat Reader DC and am disappointed by the Read Out Loud feature. It will read a single page and then stop; The "read at the end of the document" will not work. The player will stop after reading a page. Help!

  Hi Evona,

  I recommend to Open (ctrl + k) Reader preferences and uncheck 'Enable protected at Startup Mode' in the category '(enhanced) Protection' and restart the CD player. Let me know how it goes.

• When I try to save a document I get a message stating that the document does not exist

  I created a document Pages and tried to save it.  When I attributed to the appropriate folder, the following pop-up message appeared: the "illus serm 151213.pages" file does not exist.

  I tried to register with different names, but got the same message (with different file names).  Anyone know what is happening and how to fix it?  Thank you!

  I recommend you to go through this guide, your HP printer print jobs are stuck in the print queue. (Even if the title of the guide may not correspond to your question, I think that the solutions will help).

• the ADF does not work

  I have a Deskjet Pro 8500 has more printer all-in-one series.  Automatic paper feed does not work.  It just does not start.  When a document is inserted, there is no acknowleding 'ping '. When a function is started (for example, copy) the printer behind the funtion, but the document does not feed for playback.

  I guess you meant OFFICEJET 8500 has more, correct?

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.
