Sharing projects between ipad and Mac garageband via wi - fi

Hi, I'm working on a garageband project with my friend. I use an Ipad, she is using Mac. How can I share a project with her, so that she can import, modify and record new instruments him? And I mean without plugging in, but via the Internet. I've already exported the .band file to Itunes, but I don't know how a user to a different account can find and import into its garageband and then change it and feel it again for me. After all, it's what garageband has been done for, wasn't it?

You should be able to export a GarageBand for iOS project in iTunes, then use the file sharing area for that copy on your computer. You could then send the file to the other party by electronic mail or Dropbox. Once GarageBand for OS X has edited it however it can usually be brought back to GarageBand for iOS.

  • Mobile subscriptions between PC and Mac?

    Hello!

I intend to move from PC to Mac within a year, probably in a month or two. However, I know that there is so much hurt between hearing and Mac OS X El Capitan (v.10.11). I believe that it will resolve itself eventually...

But my question is this: if I start a subscription on my PC, Adobe will honor it and help me to transfer it to the right version when it's time for me to move to Mac? I was able to maintain a monthly subscription for hearing on my PC, but at $30 a month, it's really a kind of banditry (double the price monthly vs annually? Come on, guys. Bad enough, you don't easily sell a version of office for a reasonable price, my understanding is the only one you can get is a) old and b) always at the price as high as it was when it was new).

What I would do is start an annual subscription and then, when I need to transfer this subscription via the Mac compatible equivalent that I run on my new system. Is this possible, and if so, what version of hearing should I watch? Right now I am in a trial of CC and love it.

    Yes? Isn't it?

I'm not a Mac user but I have seen reports that the recent correction of Apple for El Capitan has fixed most of the problems.

With respect to the passage, I have seen this asked before and in my opinion, there is no problem to pass.  You're allowed to have your software supported on two different machines (as long as they are not used at the same time) then you can just download the Mac version when you are ready, then version désenregistrez the PC when you are happy with things.

    Hi Jasmine,.

The best way to make a backup of the entire project, including all automatic recording, project & media files is by using the "project manager" option inside the first.

  • iMessage on iPhone, iPad and Mac Mini issues

    So, here's a nice.

Mac Mini, iPad Mini, iPhone5. All are on the latest versions of the OS. Connected to the identical services iCloud and iTunes on all three devices. The iPhone 5 is delivered to US, the others are the European Union (NL) issued.

When I send an iMessage on the phone, the message sent is not the Mac Mini or Mini iPad. sent iMessages to iPad or Mac appear on both devices, but not on the phone.

Incoming messages only appear on the phone, not on the other two aircraft.

People receiving my messages of either the Mac Mini - combo of the iPad and the iPhone5, have two separate conversations in their messages, but an entry from me in their list of contacts.

In iCloud online, all devices can be considered to be connected with the same account. All have been disconnected from iCloud, password has been changed and reconnected. All devices were restarted. All to nothing does not.

Other services such as calendar function without any problem at all, an appointment has been made on what devices instantly extends to the two other devices. New contacts are shared between all the devices too. If the problem is limited to the iMessage.

In short, I suspect there is a difference between EU and devices of the American unit, preventing them to be treated equally. Does anyone else have this problem or something similar?

    Hello mackert,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I know that Messages does not properly or sync with your devices is not what you expect. Based on what you said, it seems that you encounter some problems of synchronization with connected devices to your Apple for message ID. Good news is I had this problem myself and I solved this problem by following these steps:

    1. Firstly, you disconnect from your Apple ID for iMessage on all your devices. On your iOS devices, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive and sign for your Apple ID. Then go to settings > Messages and turn off of iMessage.

    2. on your Mac Mini, open messages, then go to the Messages menu > Preferences > accounts. Click your iMessage account in the left sidebar, and then click Sign Out and then sign out again.

    3. restart your devices as closing down and starting process is important to keep the software works correctly:

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

How to turn on or off your Mac

    4. now sign in iMessage on your iPhone first. Go to settings > Messages, turn on iMessage and connect you to your Apple ID in settings > Messages > Send and receive. Make sure that you are successfully connected, iMessage is activated, and you see your phone number and e-mail available for both "you are reachable by iMessage to ' and"Start new conversations." That's because iMessage uses your iPhone SMS to activate iMessage on your Apple ID.

If you get an error when you try to activate FaceTime or iMessage

    5. Once your iPhone has configuration iMessage, then sign into your other accounts and check the synchronization of Messages. You can also turn on "Text Message Forwarding" under settings > Messages on your iPhone to better ensure that all devices have the same messages.

Use Messages with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Continuity of use to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac

  • HD Share between Windows and Mac

    Hello

I have a pc configured with windows (Vista) and I shared one of the hard drives.

My mac see allows me to connect and view records and this PC. I checked and I (Get Info) have read and write permission.

I turned on, on mac and pc file sharing and also enabled for SMB Options I think.

Whenever I'm going to delete or copy a file to the shared drive it States "you do not have permissions to complete this operation"?

I treasure this set up and it worked fine. (I wiped the windows and mac PC as cost installs).

Any idea why this is not play ball?

    Thank you.

  • Sharing catalogs between Windows and OSX LR4

I recently started using Lightroom 4 and was disappointed that I was unable to share my catalog between Windows and OSX as I could with LR2 and 3. The structure of the files has changed somehow? I mainly use a Windows computer at home, but when I travel, I have a MacBook Pro with the Mac of the LR4 version. All of my photos and catalogs are stored on a USB 3.0 external HARD drive. Although load catalog on a Mac shows all of my folders as question marks. It seems that Windows reads the disc as an indicator of the letter, ex. D:\ and OSX it reads as a volume. Used to before that this was not a problem. Does anyone know in a different way, I can get this to work specifically with this program. I already know that I can just download Boot Camp on my mac and run it like this.

I think I found the answer to my own question. The catalogs that I have problems with were created with beta versions LR4. I just created a catalog using LR4 4.3 and loaded on the Win and perfectly good OSX. Hope this helps if anyone wants to try this out.

I run a bakery of wedding cake and have all my contracts saved as PDFs on my iPad using Adobe Reader. I downloaded Adobe Reader for my iPhone thinking it would be to synchronize the files and I would be able to access it when I wasn't close to the iPad, but it doesn't seem to work. Both the iPad and iPhone are signed on my adobe account, but the documents I can access are completely different on the two devices.

  • Problem with the help of Adobe Premiere Pro *.prproj files between PC and MAC?

Hi, I have finally got myself a MAC with a grunt to replace my PC and installed first Pro CC of the cloud on the Mac.

I copied the files on my PC, but when I try to open the first Pro CC (*.prproj files) I get the following error:

"This project has been saved in a newer version of Adobe Premiere Pro and cannot be opened in this version"

I don't understand, like the MAC and PC versions of first Pro CC have been downloaded from the cloud to Adobe.

    Can anyone offer advice please?

    Hi, Ashton,.

There is no problem of incompatibility between Mac and PC files (files .prproj) project

In your case, it is not updated to the version of Premiere Pro that is installed on your Mac. If the creative application cloud shows first as update, try updates to help Premiere Pro > updates... Menu.

FYI: You should have first installed 2014.2 Pro BUILD 8.2.0 (65)

    Thank you

  • Sharing folders between only trust Mac over a network, not everyone

I can't find an exact answer to it any where online so I hope that someone here will have an answer.

I'm in an office shared with other Mac and PC on the same network, all I want to do is allow one or two Mac trust access to certain folders on the first machine and vice versa, but does not any unwanted access machines.

These records will be available often sometimes sharing large files so airdrop or the public folder is not an option. Rather than spending a lot on a NAS drive dedicated for example I just want to be able to share some folders with a password only once in their Keychain, that they can just access as and when they require.

I would have thought that it is relatively simple, but for the life of me can't work how? Anyone know if this is possible? have I lost it?

01 machine is a mac pro end of 2013 (bin), 02 is a mac pro 2012 (Tower) and 03 is a macbook pro 2011 all running Yosemite. (El Capitan is not an option yet for various reasons of 3rd party software/hardware)

    Thank you very much

    Marc

    This is possible.

You need to check with you network administrator.  It is best to get a static ip address.
