• Sharp MX-2614n - 10,11 drivers - cannot print

  We recently bought a new Sharp printer in our office - MX-2614N. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the drivers on the Sharp site. Unlike the old model MX-2600N, which prints without fault, I am unable to do this print even printer with a standard postscript driver.

  My Mac with 10.11 can see th printer on network morning and it asks to download drivers or offers standard drivers. Unfortunately no luck.

  Recently, I discovered a package on some unofficial site with 10,11 drivers hidden in MX - C26.pkg, which adds dozens of printer in library/printers/PPDs/happy/Resources you want SHARP MX - 2614N.PPD.gz, dated 11.9.2014, but the printer cannot print even with this printer driver. I contacted the local representative of STRONG, but not luck.

  Does anyone have a solution for this printer - how to print even in a default configuration without any particular add ons (like duplexer, paper extra. storage etc..)?

  The new machine has a PostScript printing package? For many brands of printers Postscript kit is often an option and without the SDK installed, you will not be able to print using Sharp or generic Postscript PPD MX-2614 - driver who stands for Postscript Printer Description.

  Note that some devices support PCL as standard. There is a generic PCL driver included with OS X. This driver does not print in black and white and has a default value of print resolution of 300 dpi. But at least it will let you print.

  You can also find that the Sharp supports AirPrint. If you can then you will be able to use the AirPrint driver in OS X, which will let you print in color and print on both sides and even staple (if it has a base unit).

  This is impacting on several PC and we tried two Kyocera, printer Sharp, print preview does not work at the time that we receive this error.

  If there is not Vista compatible driver available from Sharp for their printer, and XP drivers don't contribute to the situation, there is nothing that can be done.

  Sharp wrote the drivers for their hardware products, not Microsoft.

  Looks like that time to upgrade the printer.

• alternates printer, printing, sharp, clear and crisp, then fuzzy for awhile, back

  I have a HP DesignJet 5500 with UV inks.  The PDF worked very well and then I got a new roll of paper and now it alternates between very crisp and clear printing, then blurred.  For example, the printhead goes and comes and down the very clear print paper roll so it blurred impressions for an inch or two, an inch or two clear.  The new roll of paper is the same type of paper that worked very well.  I tried to change the paper settings and make a new PDF file, but nothing seems not to help.  Any ideas?  I can upload more photos if it would help.

  

  The first sentence sould read 'the printer worked very well' no, 'the PDF worked very well.

  The problem was the new media roll was heavy and the printer rolls glided and couldn't turn the Chuck and roll easily.  I cleaned the rollers of the printer and platten and oiled the ends of the axle that holds the media and now it prints very well.

• Printing with ps cc (2015.5) problem

  I had been printing since I bought this Epson 3880 Stylus Pro, at least once every 2 weeks to more than a year without any problems. I print directly from photoshop, last week I printed 2 images, isn't a problem. Until today, prints comes very evil. In 2 different images green appears in the shadows and like don't muddy not sharp or details. Very hard to explain, but you can see the result of printing with an attachment. Impressions are UNEXCEPTABLE.

  So I try to print from LR with a different image that I never print from LR before. And the result came out the same. Green and muddy in the shadow or the dark area... very sad... do not know what the problem is and really have no idea how to solve this problem.

  You can enable ClearType system wide for all programs other programs as Firefox to use it.

  If the printer cannot be installed on Windows itself, Firefox cannot find. try to use an older version of windows to the printer drivers (eg. a driver vista Windows 7) that sometimes works. But no, Firefox doesn't have the printer drivers and can not. It relies on the operating system.
