Shift + digit to change the brush Flow

I wonder if it is possible change the flow of the Brush tool holding SHIFT and hitting a number on the numeric keypad? I can use the numbers at the top of the keyboard for both opacity and flow, but only opacity with the numeric keypad. I have reset tools, workspace and prefs, just to be sure. I am running Windows 7 Professional.

    hello:                                                                                                                    Level: Newbie  OS: Win7 64bit   Ps:Cs6

I can't find the answer to this question for a while and have decided to give up and come to you for the kind of people...

After much research I found lots of great info on this kewl tool, but I have yet to come across something that tells me how to change the brush.

so should I assume this tool has only one type of brush and I can't change it from a round to a hard round or square or brush than ya...?

I would have thought that I could make any brush in the list... I don't know... maybe it's good in my face...

your time and your help is greatly appreciated

The corrector allows you to change the shape of the brush.

The Spot Healing Brush can only round shapes.

And elements... has some problems of integration to the difficulty.

  • Overlay red when you change the brush size

In the online tutorials, when people change their brush size and hardness, you can see a red overlay which shows what the real brush would look like.
I don't see the Red overlay. Just the outline of the brush size.

You can then, as far as I know, neither use this feature, or other features based on the GPU as the rotate view tool, 3D etc. functions.

  • How can I change the brush color?

Hello, I just started Photoshop CC, and I can't change the color of my brush, paint bucket, pen or whatever it is.  How can I do this?  Also, when the choice of colors "pad" is, is there nothing there.  Thoughts?

  • Change the brush tip

My brush and dropper tips had changed when I opened the program today.  I'm moving specific to normal.  I tried to change through preferences, but it seems that my changes will not save.  I have 10 elements and Windows 8.

Sometimes you will still see the precise cursor if the brush is really small or larger than the document itself.

Have you tried the default loading brushes and using one of the predefined brushes?

Your work on a document to normal size?

You could try to reset the Brush tool.

  • Quickly change the brush mode

    Hello

I'm constantly changing the mode of Normal, lighten, color and Darken Brush tool. The only way I found to pass is to select mode in the drop-down list.

I try creating actions to change the mode, but the real mode selection is not saved in the action.

Ideally, I would like to assign keyboard shortcuts that 'select brush mode set to clarify', etc..

No idea how I could do this?

    Thanks in advance!

PS: I use Extended CS6 if it matters

This is the default value of the keyboard shortcuts for the mixture of modes that also work to change brush blend mode, if one of the paint tools is selected

  • How to change the brush size and hardness in CS5?

I was at a workshop and learned that I could change the brushsize by simply pressing 'Alt + Ctrl' (and then it would be red tur?) and then I should be able to slide sideways to change the size and the top - and bottom to change the hardness... But when I choose my brush tool and do it, nothing happens. What I am doing wrong?

I read what follows in 'photoshop help' to try to solve the problem myself:

If you work with a graphics drawing tablet such as the Wacom® tablet, you can control the paint tools with the pressure of the pen, angle, rotation or stylus wheel.

    1. Select the brush , pencil , or any other paint tool.
    2. In the options bar, do one of the following:
      • Click the Tablet pressure controls size .
      • Click the Tablet pressure controls opacity .

And I have a wacom tablet and I tried to click on the buttons described in the Panel options, once again, nothing happens...

    What should do?

    Best regards

    Hanne

  • Change the brush shape in Vanishing Point

I can see how you can change the diameter, hardness, etc. in Vanishing Point, but I don't see how to change the shape of the brush. Somehow, become a very thin oval shape. How can I change to a circle?

The shape of the brush depends on the angle of the plane. More tilted is the plane, TVs the circle becomes to adapt to the perspective of the plane.

  • Change the brush preloaded

In CS5 the preloaded brushes are loosely spaced, as 35,45,48,60,65,100,300.  I would change a few brushes so that it loads 35,45,60,75,100,150.

I also want to add a bit of a hardness of 50%.

I see tutorials on custom brushes and adeding them, but what I must be even more simple, but no clear word on technique.  How do you do the above?

Or what I need to make a brush customized even if there is nothing special?

    Thank you.

    Hello

In the brush presets Panel, you can remove tips brush, like the 48 px one by ALT + clicking them (it was possible in the brush Panel).

Then, in the Panel forms, select the 65 pixels one and change its size to 75.

Now, to save it as a new brush tip, simply click on the icon to create a new brush on the bottom right of the brush Panel (it was possible to click in the vacuum are the list of tips of brush), then rename this new brush in brush 75 pixels (if it came from this series)

In the brush Panel, click the menu drop down and select from Preset Manager, you can now drag and drop the Brush preset in place.

Having to use two panels and another window is a lot for something so simple, I must say. There may be an easier way...

  • My brushes loaded disappear whenever I change the brushes, how do you keep this?

I am a new user of PSE9 and I have some knowledge base on how to use the free trial program. Now that I actually purchased the program I want to download new brushes. I downloaded the brushes that I want, but whenever I have load into my palette, brushes are there for a single use.

What I mean is that I can use the brushes I want until I have change a brush of different. I still have them on my computer, but it bothers me that I have to reload my brushes each time I want to use.

How can I keep my brushes here, like the catergories of default brush Photoshop already provides for you?

You put them: (copy the brush files)

    Adobe Photoshop C:\Program 9\Presets\Brushes elements

You must restart the items runs for brushes to appear.

  • Change the brush size and hardness with CTRL-OPT-DRAG

It may seem a strange question, but I can not just use the shortcut to change the size and hardness of the brush in CS5: Ctrl + Opt-make slide

I work on a MacBook Pro with a magic mouse. As soon as I click CTRL, to the tip of the needle, a small box appears (a menu icon) and then if I click, opens the brush menu.

I'm working on a french keyboard and I don't know how to change this shortcut because I don't need to reassign a key, but a 'action '.

I reset all the shortcuts to the original settings in the keyboard preferences.

Oh, and Yes, I select the OpenGL option.

It seems really easy, but it drives me crazy!

If anyone has an answer, which would be really useful!

    Thank you

I'm not sure. Maybe something on the french keyboard?

  • How to reset the BRUSH of the smudge for Mac CS6 tool? Accidentally changed the brush, it now leaves the rough marks when all other parameters are the same. Help, please!

I don't know what is happening, but the brush for the smudge tool has apparently disappeared and he lets these brands restless instead of its smooth mix, no matter WHAT I do with the brush. There was also this really annoying habit now start with a dark spot which get mixed, but he has never done this before, and the setting is normal.

Help to reset the brush? What should I do to fix that?

    Thank you!!!

In the top tool bar on the extreme left side, is an icon that resembles the tool used. Right-click on it to choose to reset the menu. An alternative is to click on the same icon so in this dialog box is a sprocket wheel icon, click it will bring up a menu of plu, you can choose tool to reset there as well.

  • Change the brush cursor

This question has been posted in response to the following article: http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Photoshop/CS/using/WSA62EB5D9-3882-463F-8FA5-A0F472BADCF6a.htm l

    Hello!

Regarding your problem of brush, other users had increased size slider their system in universal access and it triggered the problem. Game back to default and you should be ok.

Some had problems with their display drivers and 10.7.3 fixed the disappearance of described brush (approximately) between 350 and 650 pixels for them.

  • Why Brush hardness changes when I resize the brush?

    Hello

Any idea why the hardness of the brush continue to change, I'm resizing the brush? I do button upward with the brush and want to keep it at 0%. While working, I'm constantly changing the brush size (I use alt + right click to change the size). Every once and awhile hardness begins to increase 1%... 2%...etc. Is there a way to avoid this?

    Thank you

    JURI

Right/left changes the size in up/down changes the hardness. So I guess inadvertently go you too high/low.

You can change this behavior in preferences/tools:
