  This is standard behavior foer all POP3 email clients. You can specify otherwise (in Outlook 2007, which would be the tools, account, settings, change, more tick advanced, settings, leave a copy of message on the server. Also: see remove server after x days (x being a reasonable period of time in which certainly will have seen you your posts) and remove the server after deleting in deleted items.

  No, you won't lose all your messages. They are still stored in your e-mail client.

• Yahoo Mail keyboard shortcuts no longer works

  Normally when you use Yahoo Mail with Firefox, I use keyboard shortcuts for underline, bold and italic. Now, when I type CTRL-U I get 'PAGE SOURCE' everything in CONTROL I did appear BOOKMARKS. The absence of underscore shortcut is something serious because there is no corresponding button. I have change this shortcut from the SOURCE PAGE, to avoid the conflict, but that does not change. Any ideas?

  With the help of win 7 and firefox 43.0.1, I have 4 computers and now all have problems with yahoo and yahoo mail doesn't work does not correctly.   I tried Yahoo support, they said try Firefox... In any case, it's Firefox and I found a solution using the 'Refresh Firefox' button. Whatever the problem was fixed on two of my computers so far. Got to update my setting again but it's 10 m, compared to the 10 hours I spent trying all that is nothing.

  I started having a problem with my yahoo e-mail recently, he started to work slower than usual, then he stopped allowing me to dial any mail. I'm still able to receive and read my mail, but very slowly it works nothing like he did. Can you help me? I updated my firefox as your troubleshooting guide said to try and it made no difference. Also disabled my antivirus and any other program that can interfere with her still no difference. I had everything the way I liked it before, but now I have to do it all over again there at - it an easy way to do that with the file you gave me first adds my previous on etc. ?

  You seem to have a file user.js in your profile folder. This is an optional file that is either user created or created by an add-on you have installed preferences specific "lock".

  Help > troubleshooting-> under Application Basics information - profile folder - click Show folder

  Then open the user.js in a program like Notepad to view the contents of this file. If you do not understand what the content of this file user.js is to post the content here.

  I saw where some preferences in a user.js file have not been disabled in Firefox SafeMode.

  8.1 64-bit Windows, latest java 1.8.0_40, said facebook Java required, blank page of yahoo mail, bank account says java required. Java is activated, I've added to trusted sites.

  I solved it simply. It was Mcaffe anivirus blocks in firefox even thought IE worked. Uninstalled, norton, problem solved.

  I tried all that on the previous thread for the same problem and I can not open attachments. I have no problem with attachments in Internet Explorer. It looks like a problem of FireFox for me.

  Whuch suggestions did you try? Here are two recent threads, I found:

  • / issues/978924 Cannot open the pdf attachment in Yahoo Mail. Worked in 25.0 not 25.0.1. Still works with IE.

  Are you accessing Yahoo Mail directly from https://mail.yahoo.com/ instead of via a bookmark? Edit: I see already suggested this and linked to another thread, philipp/issues/971042

• Cannot open the pdf attachment in Yahoo Mail. Worked in 25.0 not 25.0.1. Still works with IE.

  Clicking on a pdf attachment in AT & T/Yahoo Mail translates "a file has been downloaded. Used to open the file in Firefox 25.0 and earlier versions. Go to IE I can click on the attachment and it opens. Seems like it might be something in 25.0.1. I cleared my history (cache, cookies), but this has not fixed the problem. I disabled the read pdf and that did not help either.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
  • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
  • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

  

  Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

  RESOLVED: Here is the solution to "I can't open the images in Yahoo mail with 7 Firefox, but IE works." Just before I log on my E-mail Yahoo site I turn on cookies, but I never enable third-party cookies. That has always worked very well until October 2011. Just after I installed the new Firefox 7 this problem started. Now I just found out that the problem is solved, if I enable cookies from third party. Users should not have to enable cookies from third party read the Yahoo mail via Firefox!
