Should I resize the LOG_BUFFER parameter to a greater value?

Should I resize the LOG_BUFFER parameter to a greater value?

The transaction of the application calls the work once every 5 seconds. The action is the insertion more than 14 MB of data in the 3 tables.
The current value of LOG_BUFFER is 14 MB (default for Oracle).

  • travel-vmhost error - the destination of the specified parameter expects a single value

I run in an error using Move-VMHost under PowerCLI version 5.5 R2 Patch 1 and 5.8 Release 1.

There are 6 clusters in the data center.  To the host of the virtual machine between 5 of the clusters that I can run successfully:

    Get-VMHost vmhostname | Moving-VMHost Destination 'NOMCLUSTER '.

But one group in particular always fails when it is specified as destination of the error message:

The specified parameter "Desintation" expects a single value, but your criteria of name "cluster6" corresponds to multiple values.

The only way I can get this working is to do:

    Get-VMHost vmhostname | -Move Destination VMHost (get-cluster | where {$_.name - eq "cluster6"})

How 'cluster6' could correspond to several cluster names?  Is this just a bug in PowerCLI?  I started using PowerCLI more recently and noticed that some cmdlets can be a bit odd (for example had a few other problems with Get-VMHostStorage and found others have had similar problems with it).  I use this process of moving part of a more automated deployment script.  Prefer to make it as efficient as possible without having to insert the extra if possible Get-Cluster command.

The Destination parameter on the Move-VMHost cmdlet accepts any VIContainer, not only the clusters.

I suspect it could VIContainer one another with the same name.

    What this does?

    Get-inventory-name 'cluster6 '.

  • can't resize the window of firefox, so I can create the shortcut on the desktop

I don't know how to resize the window smaller, it only makes the impression of the page to the smallest, on the page, not the whole outline of the page, so I can move the symbol to put on the desktop! I used the page resizing in the menu, is there another way to do it? Thank you

You can see the 3 buttons at the top right of the window frame: (_) to minimize, maximize/restore, close (X)? If these buttons are not visible, Firefox may be in mode "full screen". The F11 key toggles between the normal modes and full screen.

When you use the middle button on the title bar that toggles between maximized and resizable, is visible in the lower right of the Firefox window? If so, you should be able to click and drag up and to the left to resize the Firefox window. If it is off the screen, you should be able to resize the window in two steps: drag the upper left corner of the window down and to the right, and then drag the window to the top of the screen.

Not sure it's the right answer, but please give it a try.

  • How to add several presets in a reactive mode design without having to resize the screen every time

I want to be able to add several screen size presets with the ability to view sensitive design but do not want to resize the screen and add each individually through the predefined custom function.

Have you seen some messages on the internet (http://g-liu.com/blog/2013/08/firefox-rdm-presets/) who say it can be done, but could not find where the config is required to worm 26.0?

    Hello

Work now how to do this. You first create an entry called "devtools.responsive.UI.presets" in the configuration file, and then add in the predefined string:

    If the steps are:

    (1) open a new tab in Firefox or window and enter about: config

    (2) (if a warning message appears, click OK.)

    (3) create a new entry devtools.responsive.UI.presets - right click and select 'new', then 'string' - under enter the preference name of the type "devtools.responsive.UI.presets" and then click OK. When the box of the input string appears simply add the following shows

    [{"key": "CGA: 320 x 200", "width": 320, "height": 200}, {"key": "QVGA: 320 x 240", "width": 320, "height": 240}, {"key": "CIF: 352 x 288", "width": 352, "height": 288}, {"key": "SIF: 384 x 288", "width": 384, "height": 288}, {"key": "HVGA: 480 x 320", "width": 480, "height": 320}, {"key": "(NTSC) VGA: 640 x 480", "width": 640, "height": 480}, {"key": "PAL: 768 x 576", "width": 768, "height": 576}, {"key": "WVGA: 800 x 480", "width": 800, "height": 480}, {"key": "SVGA: 800 x 600", "width"}] {: 800, "height": 600}, {"key": "WVGA (NTSC): 854 x 480", "width": 854, "height": 480}, {"key": "PAL: 1024 x 576", "width": 1024, "height": 576}, {"key": "WSVGA", "width": 1024, "height": 600}, {"key": "XGA: 1024 x 768", "width": 1024, "height": 768}, {"key": "1152 x 768", "width": 1152, "height": 768}, {"key": "XGA: 1152 x 864", "width": 1152, "height": 864}, {"key": "WXGA: 1280 x 600", "width": 1280, "height": 600}, {"key": "HD 720: 1280 x 720", "width": 1280, "height": 720}, {"key": "WXGA} {: 1280 x 768 ","width": 1280,"height": 768}, {"key":" WXGA: 1280 x 800 ","width": 1280,"height": 800}, {"key":" SXGA: 1280 x 1024 ","width": 1280,"height": 1024}, {"key":" 980 x 1280 ","width": 980,"height": 1280}, {"key":" Microsoft Surface RT: 320 x 240 ","width": 1366,"height": 768}, {"key":" 1400 x 900 ","width": 1400,"height": 900}, {"key":" 1400 x 960 ","width": 1400,"height": 960}, {"key":" SXGA +: 1400 x 1050 ","width": 1400,"height": 1050}, {"key":" 1400 x 1080 ","width": 1400,"height": 1080}, {"key":"1600 x 900"} {, "width": 1600, "height": 900}, {"key": "UXGA: 1600 x 1200", "width": 1600, "height": 1200}, {"key": "WSXGA +: 1680 x 1050", "width": 1680, "height": 1050}, {"key": "1920 x 900", "width": 1920, "height": 900}, {"key": "HD 1080: 1920 x 1080", "width": 1920, "height": 1080}, {"key": "WUXGA: 1920 x 1200", "width": 1920, "height": 1200}, {"key": "2K: 2048 x 1080", "width": 2048, "height": 1080}, {"key": "QXGA: 2048 x 1536", "width": 2048, "height": 1536}, {"key": "WQHD: 2560 x 1440", "width": 2560, "height": 1440}, {"key" {: "WQXGA: 2560 x 1600", "width": 2560, 'height': 1600}, {'key': "QSXGA: 2560 x 2048", "width": 2560, 'height': 2048 '}, {'key': "2160 p: 3840 x 2160", "width": 3840, 'height': 2160 '}, {'key': "4 k: 4096 x 2160", "width": 4096, 'height': 2160 '}, {'key': "4320 p: 7680 x 4320", "width": 7680, 'height': 4320 "}, {'key':" 8 k: 8192 x 4608 ","width": 8192, 'height': 4608 '}, {'key':" 8640 p: 15360 x 8340 ""} [{, "width": 15360, 'height': 8640}]

  • Whenever I run firefox, it tells me that the proxy parameter is incorrect.

Sometimes after that I changed my proxy in a few days.
Now, each time after I start Firefox, I have to click on option-> proxy setting then click OK without any change or changes of mirror, it works then.

I can't save my setting in the option-> proxy page. Whenever I run firefox, the proxy parameter is selected as "manual" with nothing in the IP blanks, although I changed it to 'Auto' last before closing.

The problem is not fixed under the 'Disabled add-ons' mode. The removal of caches, cookies or sth otherwise don't work or the other.

What should I do? answer me, it's annoying.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

Try right - click at the end of the container on the FP and select Create the property node >...

If your ActiveX control is like mine which should give you the properties of the container.

  • Cannot resize the front panel

I can't resize the front panel to a smaller window.  I put in (0,0) minimum window size, unchecked maintain proportions and to scale all objects.  I had originally put the size of the minimum window to 1012 x 616.  When I close the window property and re - open the settings still collated (0,0) while they are saved, but I am unable to reduce the size of window smaller than 1012 x 616.

Also, there is open space on both sides in both dimensions, so I'm not running in the front panel objects.  What property/properties miss me that locks the minimum panel size?  One last thing is that I'm able to resize windows from any SubVIs I the same project and edit the minimum window size them and they respond as expected.

  • Resize the array element programmatically

Hi, I need to programmatically resize the element of a matrix. The external framework of the matrix control must take the same size, but the internal element should chang size programmatically.

I have found no property/method to do this. Wait using Xcontrol I guess.

    Any idea?

    Thank you.

Of your image that you inserted, I guess your "matrix" is a display of 2D LED array.

In order to resize these elements all in now the 'original size of the matrix", you must implement two steps:

    1 resize LEDs:

    • Get ArrayElement reference

    • Convert the reference to Boolean

    • Set the width and height for the Boolean value of the new value

Please note that now change the size of all THE LEDs. This is because all items in a table share the same properties (including size) with the exception of the "Value" property

In addition, the table shell is resized as it still shows the same amount of LEDs (columns, rows)

    2. calculate the new number of columns/rows to keep the table shell roughly the same size

    • Calculate the multiplier for resizing in each direction (led to half size smaller multiplier of 2 to the number of lines/columns each)

    • Multiply the number of rows/columns of this multiplier (rounded)?

    • Set the size property of dimension to the hull of the array to the new values

Please note that this will be 'resize the table to about the same size as it did before. Resizes rounding issues very likely (it has no LED 0.5 available!)

  • How to remove a parcel and resize the legend of the plot in LV 8.6 as in this link to an example 7.0 LV

This VI (ftp://ftp.ni.com/pub/devzone/epd/201150.vi) works exactly as I want to apply for a 8.6 at-, but the property node used in the example is no longer supported.

I can add/remove sites and resize the legend of the plot with 8.6 using the 'LegNumRows' property, but this property does not behave in the same way.

It seems like it should be simple, but I must be missing something.

Thank you to confirm that this property does not work in the same way as in the example when it is used with a XY graph clusters and no dynamic data.

I left the property node in the structure of the case (just as it was in the original example) while not to jam too when you went to compare two examples - my application does not for the reasons you stated.

I will implement a legend Manager to ensure the follow-up of the plots in the legend.

    Thanks for the validation test!

  • How to resize the to-do bar?

    Original title: help!

Something happened to the blue taskbar down at the bottom.  It is now twice its size and I can't go back.  Of course - I don't know how I changed it.  Also - I know have 2 icons in Outlook and cannot get rid of the one.  I played with the settings and can not solve a problem.  The only 'close' solution is to completely remove the bar downstairs.  Any ideas?

    Hi SG_2011,

First uncheck the option "lock the taskbar" because when the taskbar is locked, the resize handles are not visible.

    a. right click on the taskbar, uncheck the 'lock the taskbar' option in the menu that appears.

To change the size of the taskbar, follow these steps:

    a. move the mouse pointer to the thin bar that appears on the upper of the taskbar until the pointer turns into an arrow with two heads.

    b. hold down the left button of the mouse and drag the upper part upwards or downwards until the taskbar is the desired width, then release the mouse button.

Note: If the taskbar appears to be "stuck" between double height and no height, drag a dotted vertical resizing doesn't handle to the row above it. Then drag the top edge of the taskbar a notch.

Once you resize the taskbar, lock the taskbar to prevent resizing the taskbar.
Refer to this article to do the same thing:

For the issue of Outlook, just right click on the Outlook icon icon and select Delete. You should now be able to remove the icon.
  • Why should I Resize Windows Media Player, whenever I open it?

Why should I Resize Windows Media Player, whenever I open it?

First of all, I apologize because clearly, nobody else here knows what you're feeling :)

The problem is in fact a function: If you open a file (such as a video) directly, WMP opens directly to the ' Now Playing ' screen to display the video (the video can not be displayed in library mode where it lists all the files).  It is locked, you cannot change this behavior (because I'm sure you would agree, everyone would complain if they could not see a video playing every time they played, of course!)

But what you can do, there's WMP to always be the size you want!

    (1) play a video in WMP.
    (2) while the video plays, click anywhere in the video and uncheck the option 'Fit Player to video'.

WMP will attempt is no longer to adjust its size whenever a video is played.

If this was helpful, please vote. If it solves the problem, please click on propose as answer. Thank you!

  • Is it possible to resize the AnyConnect RDP window?

When a user goes through our portal without client and initiates an RDP session, the java window resulting is quite small... is there a way to force it to a different size (larger)?  In the wizard for creating bookmarks, it is one "other settings" field that has as one of the following examples:

    geometry = 1024 x 768

When I try to add this at the end of the bookmark RDP (using the? parameter), users get the message 'credentials are valid, but you do not have the security controls.  If I put the bookmark back to normal, they can access the portal (and RDP) that makes no sense at all to me successfully.
