I just bought 12 elements. Should I uninstall before installing the elements 12 Elements 6?
Hi Dm606,
You don't need to uninstall Photoshop Element 6 before installing
Photoshop SetupUpdates12.
However, it's totally your voluntary decision to uninstall PSE6 but he won't give you any
problem if the versions coexist.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards

should I uninstall before installing the creative suite cs5 cs3?
just a question will probably not uninstall because I don't want to wait for the answer... I want to do it now
You don't need to uninstall CS3 before installing CS 5. Many people keep several versions of the suite on their computer. However, you probably want to uninstall the Acrobat component, since you can't run a version of Acrobat on a Windows computer without running into problems. If you have a Mac there is no problem.

Uninstall before installing the CS6 Design Std.
I currently activated the trial versions of Photoshop CS6, CS6 ID and Illustrator CS6. I have disabled PS (I have a separate license only app for that). ID and Illustrator are activated through my creative cloud subscription. I decided to buy CS6 Design Standard. Do I need to uninstall Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign before installing the standard CS6 downloads?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello
Even if you already have these (photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator) software installed on your system, however, you will still need to uninstall these applications before installing Design Standard on the same computer, because the installer for the product Suite and standalone are different.
Thank you

Should I uninstall before installing PS CC Photoshop CS5?
Should I uninstall before installing PS CC Photoshop CS5?
It is not necessary.
in general, you should leave it installed. you might need some plugin/device which is not compatible with the cc ps. It's not likely, but you can wait and if you have no use for cs5 in a month or two, disable if (help > disable) and then uninstall it.
and to be sure, you must secure your cs5 serial number in case you cancel cc a day and you want to reinstall your program cs5.

You shouldn't have to uninstall any previous version. If this happens automatically, in the installation process, specify that your installation in a folder that is named differently from that resulting from a CS4 of.

Should I uninstall CS4 master collection before installing the master collection CS6?
I bought CS6 Master Collection (DVD) and I wonder if I need to uninstall CS4 before installing the new version?
Depends on what plug-ins and tools you use, and whether or not they are compatible with the CS6. If this isn't a problem, and you are reasonably sure you don't need a fallback option, to uninstall CS4 before installing the CS6 is indeed the way to do it. It is completely optional.

I have PS CS6 (2012) and the wand to move it to a new Mac. I did a search on the web, but the information was not conclusive. I have to disable my current Mac before installing the new Mac? I still have the CD to install it. Thanks in advance for any help.
You can install and activate up to 2 Macs for your own use. That would leave you with a spare part if something were to happen with your old Mac.
However if you are going to get rid of, see help > deactivate, then also check the option to remove the serial number power the computer off.
Then go to your folder CS6 use the Uninstall.app to properly remove Photoshop. Do not drag the folder to the trash.
You can install fresh on your new Mac from your drive, turn and look for the updates.
As a note: do not move or copy your old installation of Photoshop to a new Mac.

Hello, I have a question, if I already paid for Adobe Creative Cloud (including all Adobe Applications) and I installed it in a desktop computer in my office, I might as well install in my laptop at home? Or should I uninstall it in the desktop to transfer it to my laptop? Thank you
Cloud license allows 2 activations http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html
-Install on a 2nd computer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1452292?tstart=0
-Windows or Mac has no importance... 2 on the same operating system or 1 on each
-Two activations on one account CAN NOT be used at the same time (to be noted in the link above of the license)
-An individual account is for one person and may not be shared with anyone else
