  I have a client that was used to communicate with GPIB and, possibly, hardware DAQ measurement in Excel. He knows failover with able and interested in moving away from another product. What products would provide the simplest transition? I'm interested in any comments/ideas that you might have.

  A large part of what is today can be done fairly easily to in Excel using the macro editor, even if it does not require you to write code to do rather than use the interactivity that measure provides.  Measure includes a conversion utility that allows to convert a measurement task to VBA Excel based on some of the ActiveX of Measurement Studio controls.  You could also use VBA Excel (or new versions of Excel, .NET) directly with our language DAQ and GPIB interfaces.  Yet once, this would require an amount of programming in Excel.  We also have examples that show how to acquire data with LabVIEW and then send these data in a worksheet.

  I have a Canon's HD camcorder and I shoot with AVCHD Auto wide SP. There are half a dozen options when I put my video on YouTube. I don't know what option I chose when I published my first two videos, but the sharpness is better than that of my recent video. On my latest video, I used Flash Video to YouTube (widescreen) Frame Rate 30. The other option, which maybe I could have used, is High Definition You Tube - 1920 by 1080 Video - Frame rate 29.97. Many other options are for PAL which of course, I do not use.

  Please give me you thoughts on this because I intend to post more videos on YouTube.

  I created the task UP. The task takes in the counter of an encoder input and converts it to angular position. Always use the DAQmxReadCounterF64 function to read the meter? I'm guessing that I made and that the function returns the angular position, rather than the raw numbers. Not sure if.

  I have a SATA secondary drive that is too small.  There nothing critical in this regard.  If I'm asking the domain controller to replace it with a larger, they shut down the server, remove the small drive, put in the largest and start the server up.  My questions are:

  You must just rescan the HBAS and set up a new store of data on this drive.

  If you want to use a hard drive external Mac and PC options are:

  1. format the drive in Mac as exFat

  2. format the drive to NTFS on a Windows PC and use a program like Paragon NTFS for Mac. https://www.Paragon-Software.com/home/NTFS-Mac/

  Paragon NTFS for Mac allows you to use a disc formatted in NTFS by a Windows PC.

  I use the PXI-8431/2 to read data from the flow meter PDS ELITE (Modbus RTU). Receiving data, the RS485 protocol request to terminals 4 and 5, but this configuration does not seem to work. When I connect the RS-485 converter USB of Microflex I get the data correctly, so somehow between the PIN lay and PXI this problem there.
