The computer does NOT prompt you to sign any particular account.
He simply open a connection with all available accounts screen and the user must specify the logon account.

The user has an option to configure the computer automatically log on to the user account without going through the login screen.
BUT, to do that, the user must be administrator or in possession of an admin password.

This problem started immediately after the upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) to Windows Vista Ultimate (32 bit).  Again, I want to remind that I never had this problem before installing Windows 7.

-After a reboot, I am presented with the impossible to connect the network indicator (yellow triangle with!) in the task bar.  (It was how I was welcomed after the installation of Windows 7 is said by the way).

-The only way I found to regain connectivity is to uninstall and reinstall the network via the device manager card, date at which the computer always successfully connects and remains connected until the next reboot.

    Network card: Realtek RTL8168C (P) / 811C (P) Family PCI - E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)

  • Cannot connect after update monthly weather gadget.

Hello, my weather of MS gadget just stopped working right this morning after the reboot required by the monthly batch of updates that happened recently. It just says: unable to connect to the service. Any attempt to change the city just returns not found location. No other changes have occurred on the machine outdoors updates MS. Suppression and relocation of the gadget have the same results. The gadget, however, works very well on the administrator account, but all the standard users see the just failed to connect to the service. I even added a new standard user account and the problem persists. I tried most of the things that I could find in the forums but no luck...

Have you checked if your Internet Explorer is not set to work offline.

    Update:
Microsoft has DISABLED the weather gadgets and currency via a recent update of security, because of worries about the vulnerability associated with these gadgets running on your computer. You can read more here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2719662 . Adjust the settings of your computer and all these other 'suggestions' people are, will NOT work. The function has been REMOVED from the operating system. It has also been removed from Windows 8 operating system. There are "theorists" who agrees that there is a security problem in the gadgets or Microsoft just doesn't support gadgets (usually from third party software) and has therefore disabled them in Windows 7 and eliminated in Windows 8.

  • Group administrator cannot open Control Panel, Manager of tasks or access networked readers

    Hello

I have a little trouble getting one of our computers in the domain to cooperate.  We've added a bunch of user profiles of domain on this computer, all under the administrator group, but nobody except the local administrator can access network drives, open Control Panel and open the Task Manager.  Even our domain administrator cannot do the previously listed.  We have 3 other computers that use all the same members, and they are all very well, so I don't think that the question lies in group policy.  It's almost as if the local administrator group settings have been changed somehow?  I went into the local group policy and all settings seem correct.  I'm puzzled little at this stage.  This could be the cause of this problem?  What is a corrupt local administrator account?  For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

  • HP Pavilion M7 - WiFi lights not after a reboot. -Windows 8

Hi everyone, I just reinstalled Windows 8 and I am very frustrated with this little problem.

I downloaded the Realtek Wireless LAN driver from the HP website. I installed it. After installation, the WiFi works automatically. Now, after a reboot, the WiFi does not start upward. Everything is up-to-date, I checked in the Device Manager, and I even reinstalled the drivers. It does not just straight up. Everything on Windows said I need to physically turn it on.

Any help? I can't believe that I can't use the built-in WiFi. I currently use a LBS-Link USB WiFi adapter which worked well in all of his application since he came home.

    Squerl,

    Welcome to the forum.

First of all, you can try a Power Reset, which does NOT affect data on the disk.  The power / Hard Reset can help if the problem is in the pilot instructions that are stored in the computer's memory and persist to boot at startup.

    Resetting the forced feeding

Performing a Hard Reset or forced Reset

Power reset cannot tell the difference between drivers - it does not analyze a driver before applying.  It assumes that all the drivers on your computer belong there.

    EXAMPLE:

    • If the driver on the disk is the wrong driver before rebooting, it's always the wrong driver after the reset.
    • If the INSTRUCTIONS of the driver are tangled, messed up, or there are missing pieces of these instructions, the reset can solve the problem.

Why a power reset works to solve some problems:

The power reset does not install anything on your computer, it does not remove the programs on your computer and Reset does not change the settings on your computer.  Your data and programs remain as they were before the reset has been applied.  Reset runs old program of the memory instructions and forces the computer go to disk operating system for new instructions.

Why a power reset does not work:

If the problem is more than a simple tangle, if 'good job' on the computer is not good enough - in other words, you need an update, a new driver, or there is a problem that can not be "unraveled", then reset won't work.

If there is a hardware problem power reset will not work.

    ==============================================================================

Then, you can set the properties of the LAN driver to allow the driver to "wake up" the computer.   At the same time, you set the driver to NOT allow the computer to stop the driver.

    Windows key + X > M (opens Device Manager) > network adapters >

Right click of your wireless adapter > Properties > Power Management >

    Select as appropriate:

Clear the check BOX "Allow the computer to turn off this device...". »
CHECK 'Allow this device out computer' > *

    Ok

    * NOTE

Read the warning on the wireless driver performance while the notebook is on battery.

Remember that this setting CAN have side effects.

  • AVG detects viruses, C:\sccfg.sys if I scan and delete, it will appear after each reboot.

    Original title: C:\sccfg.sys

    AVG detects C:\sccfg.sys
    What is a rootkit?
How can I get rid of it permanently?
I ask AVG Anti-virus (free) to cope - AVV, then asks me to restart the computer
After the re - start AVG advises me that the threat has been eliminated.
AVG analysis finds no problem for the next (approx.) 2-3 weeks
Then, the threat is detected again.
I have lived this cycle several times now.
BUT I want to get rid of the threat for good.

Internet search suggests this threat comes from a program called "Folder Lock", (which I had installed for several years) but AVG has only been reported as a threat for maybe three months.
Research on the Internet tells me that the problem cannot be solved by uninstalling "Folder Lock"

How can I get rid of this threat?

    Hi Leeds,

It seems that AVG detects C:\sccfg.sys as virus, if you scan and delete, it will appear after each reboot.

Let's run the virus scan in safe mode with networking:

Check out this link to start your computer in safe mode with networking:

A description of the options to boot in Safe Mode Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222

After starting in safe mode with network, virus using AVG anti-virus scanner.

With AVG Anti-virus, perform a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

    Refer to this link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    I hope this helps!
