    Hi Daniel,.

There is an in-app Mail notification system. You can check that it is enabled for your account by:

    Opening of the Mail app

To show the charm of settings by pressing " + I"

    Click on 'accounts '.

Click the account that you are having problems with

Scroll down the settings and make sure the "show of notice by e-mail for this account" is enabled!

There are also a couple of global settings that should be on by default:

    Opening of the Mail app

To show the charm of settings by pressing " + I"

    Click "Permissions".

Ensure that the Notifications and Lockscreen is on 'ON '.

Hope this has helped. Please let me know.

  • How to stop windows mail spelling my signature every time that I have send a message.

    Hello

I have a custom email signature I settled by default on my message options. Whenever I compose a message, the spelling check includes my signature. I need to spell check my actual post without going through the spelling of signature every time.

Also, I can't insert any default signature message. There must be a limit to the number of characters, you are able to use. Is there a way around this problem as my message signature cut three quarters of the way through.

    Thank you very much

  • Windows Mail - insert HTML signature?

    Greetings,
Using Windows Mail (Vista), I tried to follow the instructions: http://www.timeatlas.com/mos/Email/General/Create_Image_Signatures_in_Windows_Mail_or_Live_Mail/
When insert > file htm or html Signature, email image won't display, only a red X. So I kept Live Mail tips, with the same result.
Bed Notepad the HTML code and maintains the path information.
the same file to be opned in widows Mail REMOVES the path information.

Basically, it seems once I saved the HTML it adds or removes information, which makes the image is no longer visible.

Windows Mail - insert HTML signature?
    (1) path Info IS recorded and visible in Notepad.
    (2) Windows Mail is to REMOVE the path information

    Hey sadicus,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Forum!

    1. this problem may occur if the Windows Mail is unable to locate the source of the image to be included in the e-mail message.

    2. to resolve this problem, use a text editor (such as Notepad) to edit the custom signature HTML file to add the full path of the location of the graphics file information before sending the e-mail message.  Here is an example of the code without the path:

    3. This example of HTML refers to the Test.gif file. Only the source of the image (img src) information, lists the file name, but does not list the path to the files. In this example, you would change the HTML code:

4 take a look on the link below for more information on changing the settings of Signature:

  • An image can be added to a signature in the mail in the window?

I have a business e-mail address, and the regulation for my profession requires a signature added to each outgoing email that I send. What is a way to add an image to the Windows mail signature? • Windows Mail - account signatures

I have 2 email via MS Windows Mail to access accounts and have set up 2 different signatures for each account, but when I compose a new message, the default signature appears regardless of which account I select (when I compose a new email message that appears is the default account).   I remove the default signature in the email and include signature of the 2nd account by selecting ' insert/signature', but I want it to automatically insert.  What I am doing wrong?

Not only signatures bad, but this looks like your sending messages to the wrong account as well.

    You have two options:

    1. you can get the WMIDS program, and it will add this feature in Windows Mail.

    http://www.oehelp.com/WMIDs/default.aspx

    2. you can switch to Windows Live Mail Beta (WLM). There Inbox folders for each account. It supports Pop3, IMAP, HTTP Web site (EX: Hotmail) e-mail and is much more stable. WLM will automatically import messages, accounts and settings from Windows Mail in there. Contacts must be imported manually. (Tools, Contacts, files, import Windows Useer current addressbook.

    http://www.Vistax64.com/Windows-Live/92348-Windows-Live-Suite-downloads.html

Personally, I would switch to Windows Live Mail-, but the decision is yours.

    I hope this helps.
