  I have developed 2 applications for a school. Both applications are closely related and share the same database.

  Agree with Tony and Earl, you must understand how to change the architecture of the APEX to solve your problem.

  An alternative more to "web server rewrite rules" and "implement several dads" is to "implement a reverse proxy to your web server" (Glassfish Server in your case).

  It may be the solution:

  • Configure Apache HTTP Server to the desired domain knowledge www.myschoolmaths.com, that would be your reverse proxy.
  • Load mod_proxy.so and mod_proxy_http.so modules into the Apache HTTP server.
  • Write the rules of proxy for 'www.myschoolmaths.com/mathsteachers' and 'www.myschoolmaths.com/maths '.

  You might also consider ADR deployed on Apache Tomcat and reversed by the Apache HTTP Server as your intermediate proxy.
