For a few months, when I try to save my pages of tiff in a smaller size, using the Save for web and optimization of the size of the file box Photoshop no longer works correctly.  Files are often 100 francs more grand than the target k 250 KB.   In the Web dialog box, do you have the metadata one value other than None?

  Yes, I've never used 'File size limit' because I know better. IMHO, this is an Adobe option could remove and do more good than harm. We have seen many messages here from users who are confused when it doesn't do what they expect.

  4 MB of an interactive file 6 MB (71% of the total file size).

  I'm only using Verdana.

  In this case the problem is not one of the fields have the police other than Helvetica. All fields are buttons, and all use the Verdana font in their appearances (icons), as opposed to their labels (aka Legend). This is how InDesign works when it generates the appearance for the buttons. As a result, that Verdana is incorporated several times as a subset, more than 300 times, once by button. This includes a lot of overhead, so that you get the size of large file.

  It would be much smaller than that you need to add buttons in Acrobat, even if you've used Verdana. In this case, the entire police would get embedded, but only once. It would take more work, but the process can be automated, if you need to do this sort of thing a lot.

  I have this book that I am designing that uses the same image on all other pages. Like I did the changes to the image and the restoration of the links/update links, I noticed that the size of my file went from 30 to 102 MB. At first I thought that my image is too big, so I tried to reduce the size in Photoshop. But it seems that just rebinding time and again increases the size of the file. Anyone know how I can get rid of the additional data/information that is saved in my InDesign file? Help, please!

  Increase in the size of the file that you edit because ID is to store data changed in the editing for you session can use cancel. The data stored in the file, also, unfortunately and becomes heavy. A Save AS will remove all data undo, as will crossing IDML.

  108 of PPIS for PDF folios. There is no real need to do anything in Photoshop.

  Simply place your image and your scale in InDesign.

  Each 'how to' I find online on the way to the trash my ID CS6 Pref told me to replace the files called "InDesign Defaults" and "InDesign SavedDate. The locations of these are supposed to be here:

  Macintosh: Disk hard/users / < USER > / Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign / < Version # > / < language > /.

  InDesign SavedData:

  Macintosh: users/hard disk / < USER > / Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign / < Version # > / < language > /

  Well, there is no "Library" folder in my folder '< USER > '. The folder does not exist "Hiding" anywhere on my hard drive. Nowhere is there not "Adobe InDesign" folder on my hard drive. There seems not to be all the files on my hard drive with the names of "InDesign Defaults" or "InDesign SavedDate".

  What all this possible?

  Kathy at the moment, you can install CS6 trials and then choose the option to upgrade this software under license and enter the identification code Adobe tied to your creative cloud subscription.  You can download the trial on a computer that may not have the same restriction on the use of the Internet.  In this way, you will need to only be online to activate it, then download and apply the updates available.

  On my previous version of Photoshop (CS4) when I saved a file PSD as JPEG level 8, 10 or whatever, the size of the file in megabytes was then shown.

  There is a bug where it doesn't show if you save a document in JPEG format 16-bit/channel.

  I think that they are just going to remove the field in Photoshop CS6.

  go to the file e/s palette and then the advanced palette which is a search palletteand sub getfilesize.vi... but this function gives the result in bytes...
