Skip and capture the Oracle SQL record dirty in a select statement

I have the Oracle Oracle 11.2.0.4 database when I run a select query.

Question:

10 columns have given Date format. When I try to execute this query into a FROG he says, a month not valid. Since the records are billion in nature, I am not able to know which line has this problem.

Is there a way I can capture the failed row and add it to other tables and continues with the select statement regardless of this error

OK, you have several TO_DATE functions fed a string that is built on the fly. At least part of the time, the chain that is built does not match the date format mask used.

For example:

TO_DATE (SUBSTR (TO_CHAR (SQ_W_PURCH_CYCLNS_ORA. LAST_SUBMITTED_ON_DTTM_WID), 0, 8). » -'|| SUBSTR (TO_CHAR (SQ_W_PURCH_CYCLNS_ORA. (LAST_SUBMITTED_ON_DTTM_WID), 9, 6), "YYYYMMDD-HH24MISS")

"SQ_W_PURCH_CYCLNS_ORA. LAST_SUBMITTED_ON_DTTM_WID' does not have a string where characters 5-6 are in the range 01-12. You'll have to do an analysis on this column. From its data and how that is managed by to_char. What ARE the data type of ' SQ_W_PURCH_CYCLNS_ORA. LAST_SUBMITTED_ON_DTTM_WID' and what is a typical value?

As others have said, this is simply an impossibility for a column of a table to actually have invalid month (or day, or year, or hour or minute or second). ONLY, you get this error during the conversion of a string to a date with the TO_DATE function.

retrieve the records from the oracle sql query

I'm stuck with a requirement where I need to retrieve some recordset based on the conditions. I won't be able to produce the same data and table here, but I can explain the problem with the example statement:
If col2 contains 'y' to any folder, then select only the records. Where, as if no line contains the value 'y' for col2 then retrieve all records.

performance issue with the Oracle SQL query

I am new to begin to use Oracle SQL, I have a sql query which takes longer to run in production.
Each table in the query contains 1.2 million records and DBA suggested using the "Oracle - tips. I don't have good knowledge on this subject and the difficulties to implement this advice for imrpovise performance. Please help me to fix the script below.

I had an obligation to write a pl/sql that will handle the update instructions.

For example:
A table that contains 10 rows of data. Through pl/SQL block, I update the 10 rows (or a smaller number of lines).
Now, the scenario is by updating registration / line 4, oracle has met an error and then oracle leave pl/sql block and cancel the transaction.

My requirement here is, by updating the records, if oracle encounters an error, it must raise an error or ignore the record and continue to process records. Oracle wouldn't pl/sql block.

We are using oracle 10g.

The forum search, I see a similar complaint noted against 3.1.07.42. Instruction execution produces the list oracle.sql.NUMBER, probably because of a corrupt installation query results (due to decompress questions, or perhaps no decompression in an empty directory). See the following thread:

When you connect "/ as sysdba", you actually connect as the user named SYS from the privileges of your operating system. SYS is the owner of the database and a privileged user. You really want to use this username for the day to day operations, but only for what can do only SYS. If you need a different user name. Several Oracle databases have a user named SCOTT who has a number of tables for use tutorial. By default, the password for SCOTT's "Tiger." You may also have other demo users, such as "HR". Can I remove and reinstall the font without records book?

On my MacBook Pro 10.6.8 FontBook operates as a two-bob watch - do not let me access policies in Freehand MX that are definitely in the font book, among other things. To clarify, there was never a 10.6.8 released on record as an installable OS. You install 10.6.3 (the last version released of the snow leopard), then apply the 10.6.8 Combo Update.

Follow 1 a or 1 b depending on the version of Mac OS X you have. If you can't find the com.apple.FontRegistry file in your user account preferences folder, then it is easier to use 1A rather than trying to dig through several hidden files.

1 a) restart your Mac and immediately press and hold the SHIFT key when you hear the startup chime for a safe boot. Now keep the SHIFT key until OS X asking you to sign in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot, even if your Mac automatically connect). This will delete the font book database and cache files for the account you logged in Mode safe. Restart again normally.

In later versions of Mac OS X, it is much easier to remove. Quit the font book. Open the Preferences folder in your user account, put the com.apple.FontRegistry file in the trash and restart. Need help with the use of GROUP BY in a select statement UNION

I am writing a query that allows to combine a legacy system that interfaces it is trial balance in the Oracle of R12 GL. It was only meant to continue for a month or two, but it is likely to continue for 6 months. Please Auditors Auditors, to provide proof that the system is in balance with Oracle GL. By my verification requirements, I need to make a full reconciliation from the month of conversion (life in the amount of date), then PTD for each month.

The legacy account is placed in attribute1 on the lines of the journals. Uses of the old system balancing segments that are also used on the platform in Oracle for this division, i.e., Procure-to-Pay has been cut over Oracle, but not everything yet. So, I can't count on the GL_BALANCES table for the info, I get from the JE_LINES.

My problem is not the only request for the month. But when I try to combine the queries with a Union, to aggregation of each measurement period in its own column, the group is necessary after each selected instruction rather than allowing me to put at the end of the UNION. (When I put the group by at the end of the UNION, I have the 'not one group' function)

So I get duplicate for each month of discrete measure accounts. When I duplicate in my Oracle database accounts, I can't count on the VLOOKUP function in excel to exactly match an account of inheritance. I know there are more sophisticated ways to provide this output, but I'm hoping to get this info in a simple query.

Here is a simplified version of my code that returns both records. In my research, I had found a number of conversations where it has been shown that the group could be put at the end of the select statement. However, when I remove the group from the first select statement I get SQL error: ORA-00937: not a function of simple-group
