  In the past, I used the Javascript validation in CFFORMs to validate the CFSELECT of entry, due to the bug in Coldfusion validation (most of my client sites are on shared servers, so I can't change the cfform.js file).

  Now, I'm looking to determine the CFFORM format = "Flash"... Well, not only explore, way down the road to develop a web app... and I found my old validation methods do not work. It seems that I have to use Actionscript now.
  
  Does anyone have a good implementation of Actionscript form validation that they can share with me? Or point me in a different direction if I'm off base here?

  It is difficult for me to believe that I'm the only one who had problems with the CFFORM = validation of the cfselect "flash" format But hours of searching turned up VERY LITTLE. I managed to combine something, then someone else has this problem, that happens on my post, here's how I solved it:

• Out of track in the Menu start flashing in the window that closes then (XP and W7)

  I send the output of this command: "ipconfig/all" to a developer to obtain a software license.  When I enter this command in run of the menu start, the output flashes briefly in a window on the screen and then closes.  I can't read the output as it closes so fast.  This has happened in XP and W7 in Fusion (versions 2 and 3).  In Parallels, the window did not close but remained on screen so that I could copy or captures screen information in an e-mail.  Does anyone have a work around for this?  Is this a bug of merger?  Thank you.

  It is certainly not a question of Fusion.

  What you need to do is type 'cmd' in Start Menu Run which will create a terminal window.

  Starting from that, windows command "ipconfig/all".

  Finally to complete it type "exit".

• Skip the menu and do not display boxes

  I added a jump menu in several presentations.
  
  I just noticed the following about all our files (.cp and .swf files published)
  
  Click (jump menu link), the user is taken to the right place in a presentation.

  Captivate 2 is not smart enough to reject the legend of breakdown on a blade before jumping to a new slide. Thus, the legend of the failure of the old slide is still often visible when the user reaches the new slide.

  As noted by Rick, you have one or more click on boxes or the buttons on the original slide that have a failure caption defined. By clicking on your means to 'jump the menu link' you are not click the click box/with the legend of the failure, which then triggers this legend to appear.

  Your only options are either:

  (1) remove all the legends of the failure of the original slide. If there is more than one acceptable by clicking on a slide, you cannot use legends of failure or a single click is still considered to be 'bad '. :(

  2 accept the legend of failure to appear and request a feature to have changed in a future release. To submit a bug or feature, click here.

  Unfortunately the form styles are not uniformly recognized by all browsers.  Some people resort to Ajax, DHTML, JQuery, or Flash for their Menus jump look the same in all browsers.

  I have a custom auth routine, which seems to work very well, produced a fine menu tree after authentication. So my link in the menu tree goes to the next page of the app very well (although when it is fully functional, it could also go to pages in other applications in other areas of work).
  
  The problem I have is that the menu links to a page of report/form and report form / seems to work fine, except for the Cancel button. And really, the button is probably done what it should, but I have a redirect to the page 1 which is the menu page, but it ends at 101 which is the login page.
  
  What is happening out there? How can I get the real menu back in place, as expected? There must be a setting that I can put in a cancellation process after to realize this, or some other well-disguised setting. I have no concern that it looks exactly as it did on clicking on the link that went to the / report form.

  There is a session from connection to the menu ID, but there is no postponement of the session ID in the menu option, should it do and maybe you can tell how to include in my link behind the menu? somehow to incorporate the menu session ID in the URL behind my menu option?

  That's the problem. You must specify the id second apex current in the links, otherwise it will create new session.

  I don't know how you have created the menu. However you can get the current session by using the variable binding APP_SESSION .

The value is actually a monetary value. Output the value of the variable in a cfformitem but I con ' t understand how diplay as a dollor appreciates, in addition, a value with zeros to the right when the value is a full dollar.

  You must save the spreadsheet containing the new date as a model format and use this custom template for each new spreadsheet where you want that this date format personalized at your disposal.

  I could be wrong, but in my research for this issue, I learned that there is no solution from Adobe to convert an F4V or a FLV. I talked to Adobe support directly and they told me to buy a 3rd party conversion program. I find absolutely stupid that the only way to embed a video in Animate using a FLV or F4V, and there is no codec to convert video in this format.
