  I recently updated my iPhone and it has changed apparently randomly how Skype works on an iphone now, when, in a call on Skype, if you lock your phone in order to book the power that he immediately hangs up the call.   There is an easy solution for this. Locate the Skype settings (my info > settings) then turn off built-in calls.

  It's a feature planned, no, it will not appear on your monthly bill. It comes to VoIP, it is not through PSTN provider, it's the internet :-)

I've always used Skype from one computer to another, so I really have no idea how the Skype call would work from a computer to a phone.   Hi all

  I've seen a few of these topics that are similar, but none that I have met have my setup. Let me describe quickly.

  I have my laptop speakers, a usb headset that I use for Skype and that I don't have permanent plugged into the laptop using a mini-jack.

  The problem I have is that whenever I'm on a Skype call, it seems, as all audio workarounds (except the Skype call), my helmet and comes straight out of my laptop speakers. My usb headset works as it should as the default communications device.

  Can any suggestions on how I make sure that the sound signal (non-Skype) happens in my helmet when I'm on a call?

  Hi, thanks for the response.

  Basically, the reason for audio devices is that it is my work computer. So I have decent headphones for practically everything. Then I have the headset for Skype and other communication applications. The speakers of the laptop, I didn't really the possibility of withdrawing

  I managed to fix the problem by removing an audio device that seemed to isolate my headphones into the socket. This means that the 2 devices are separated instead of having an audio option of the speakers/headphones.

  Hope this was able to help someone else with the same problem.

• Microphone internal mute after a Skype call

  Devices/Skype Info: LG G Pad 8.3 (V500) w / stock Android 5.0.2 & WiFi (home network), Skype v6.15.0.1162
  
  After completing a call Skype the internal MIC is silent and does not work in subsequent calls or among all the apps of the device (e.g., Google Voice Search, Hangouts, WhatsApp, etc.). Only after restarting the device, the internal MIC will work again.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. start a Skype call (no matter if it's with or without video). The microphone works well, both parties can hear each other.
  2 to end the call (regardless of which party the call hangs).
  
  After the end of the call from the internal microphone stops working. If I run a new call, I can hear the other party but they don't hear me. The icon to mute the mic than silent watch is turned off (active micro) and clicking it has no effect (i.e. only changes the appearance of the icon but the mic is always cut in any case). The microphone does not work until the next reboot. This problem affects all applications using the MIC until the next reboot.
  
  This same behavior happened a few months before, but it was fixed after Skype update. This could be a regression.
  
  There is absolutely no problem at all when you use the microphone with the rest of the applications (except if a call is made with Skype).

  Fixed prior to version 6.19.0.460 (probably a couple of versions).

  That's exactly what I got after upgrade to 9.0.2 and 6.3 of Skype iOS

  I use Control Center to adjust the volume in applications. I can't use the volume button of material - it's broken.

  I thought that I could go back to the previous version of Skype (because I remember the working software volume slider), but the AppStore suggests none of the previous versions. I can't find another Skype.ipa than 6.3 anywhere. I tried to restore my ipad support Skype, but the program hangs for hours saying "Installation."

  Well, found a solution for the broken button by activating AssistiveTouch under settings > general > accessibility > AssistiveTouch.

Will this break from my internal microphone, and if so, headphones with a microphone will solve this problem?
