So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my Skype and since then it crashes at startup. I use the normal SkypeSetup.exe I downloaded from the main site. I also tried older versions, nothing works. I tried to delete the settings in Skype and to my surprise, Skype starts after that. Unfortunately, it crashes as soon as I connect.

  Please help me, I really have no idea what could be wrong with my PC (or Skype).

  There is another solution that is very similar to the vbscript we already posted but this one is simple and does not require to create a shortcut to the application of 'metro' in Skype and then put this shortcut in the startup folder.

  Look for any application on your computer that may have installed this Codec package. You can try to search for the presence of the file vorbis.acm .

  In previous similar cases, the question of the Ogg Vorbis could have been resolved by just renaming the file vorbis.com to something different.

  The accident is due to FaceRig Cam Virtual application. Uninstall this application.

  Older versions of Skype may work with this virtual camera application, while the latest version 7.0 is not.
