• Skype for win 8 problems

  Skype for win 8 does not have the feature I need, so why am I being forced to change to something I can't use? The last time I tried Skype for win 8, he FORCED me to have Skype VISIBLE tab at any time to use it at all. • The Pages for iPhone download issue 7

  Just got my iPhone 7 and put in place of my return to iCloud - after except for Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie, Garageband and iTunesU.  I connected to iTunes, but they would not download from there either (couldn't really find them on the list of apps) and when I tried to download from the app store, he got to halfway through the process and then he said 'impossible to download the app.

  To manually install VMware Tools on a Windows host download just unzip the archive and run the .exe which result and that will create the windows.iso file and will be available when you select install VMware Tools.

  On a Linux host unzip archive and then in a Terminal, for example, run the following command:

  sudo vmware-installer --install-component=vmware-tools-windows-8.4.5-324285.i386.component
  

  This opens the installer GUI and then you just follow the instructions.  When the windows.iso is available when you install VMware Tools

• Creative Suite 2 Premium for Mac download problem

  I have Creative Suite 2 premium for Mac and have tried to install it and have been directed to http://www.Adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/ to download a version that works. According to installation WHAT PDF there should be 7 files to download, I can only see 5. There seems to be 2 missing files for the premium version, where can I find these please? • Skype for Mac 6.9 list problems - unstable

  Here is a list of the problems after the upgrade to 6.9 Skype on my Mac (running on OS X 10.8.5), 8 GB of RAM, Seagate Mementus XT hybrid hard drive. Front of performaing the troubleshooting steps I completely check through various utilities / diagnosis all existing software (files, permissions, ACL, Cache, corrupted files structure) and the material aspects of the Mac (RAM, hard drive, logical card). They are all in perfect condition.

  1 Skpye uses too much CPU resource (can swing on a normal audio chat from 55% to 102%). This causes the mac to hang it.

  -J' tried many measures to solve them, delete all the files nd a new reinstall but same result.

  2. Since the upgrade to the new version:

  -The refresh rate of screen for the main window of Skype went crazy mad. Its take 2-3 seconds to refresh, if I pass any application to the Skype window.

  3. its seems to be a lot heavier just to load and use than the previous version

  

  You might want to try 6.9 Skype for MAC OSX version released 701 yesterday (compared to the generation of older 6.9) to see if anything changes.

  (i) start a conference call

  Make sure that your contacts are available to check their current status first. Then follow the steps below to invite to the conference call.

  1. In the Skype for the main window of business in your contact list, hold down the CTRL key and click on the names of your contacts to select for your meeting.

  2. Right-click on the selection, then click on start a conference call.

  3. Click on a Skype call.

  Your contacts can receive a notification and may accept or reject your application for the conference call.

  Add other people to the conference call

  If you need to add other people to your conference call, you can drag their names in your list of Contacts meeting. Or add them using the menu of people:

  1. In the conversation, in the members pane window, click invite more people.

  2. Choose a person from the list and then click OK. Skype for business calls for you the person and adds them to the meeting.

  There is no Apple here in this technical forum from user to user.

  Try a simple Reset: press and hold the Power and Home buttons until you see the Apple logo.

  BTW, I have still a few iPhone only apps that work very well on my iPad with iOS 9.3 2 Air.

  Download page redirects to HTTPS, http, there is no signatures or hashes that I can find, and of course Linux does not have Authenticode. Did I miss a secure way to download Skype for Linux, or there is no such thing?

  Found an answer: forget skype.com and install instead of the Canonical partner repository. I thought I tried that before and ended up with a version that didn't work at all, but it seems fine now.
