• Oracle coherence first read/write operation take longer

  I'm testing with consistency oracle Java and C++ version and both versions for writing in a local or distributed or near cache first read/write operation take more time compared to the next consecutive read/write operation. What is because of boost operations inside real HashMap serialization or memory mapped implementation. What are the techniques that we can use to improve performance with this first read/write operation?

  In that case, why bother with consistency? You're not really winning anything, are you?

  What I'm trying to explain, is that you're probably not going to get this level of performance 'microsecond' on a consistent cluster configuration, running on multiple computers, passes through proxies for clients c ++. Consistency is designed to be a scalable, tolerant cache/processing system and distributed. It is not really designed for real-time, guaranteed processing, micro-nano-second second level. There are much better batteries product out there for this type of treatment if that's your ultimate goal, in my humble OPINION.

  As you say, simply write a small local map (or an array, list, Set, etc.) in a local JVM is always going to be very fast - literally as fast as the processor running on the computer. But this isn't really the development of a product like the consistency. It does not seek to "get the gun" that you can get on a single machine, perform simple processing; Consistency is designed for scalability rather than outright performance. Of course, the use of the local caches (including coherence near caching or replicated caching), can you put some of the performance you ' lost ' in a distributed system, but everything is relative.

  If you wander on some of CUG presentations and attend a few meetings CLOSED user group, one of the first things the support guys will tell you is "spots on a correct cluster' and not 'on a localized development computer. Why? Because the difference in performance and scalability will be huge. I'm not really looking to dissuade you from consistency, but I don't think that it will meet you needs when fully configured in a cluster of "1 Micro seconds for 100000 data collection" on an ongoing basis.

• First reading of slow/no CC 2015.3, gel

  CC 2015,3 guard freezing / crashing and or has no reading. I got the game and nothing. Sometimes it's video on the monitor of the program sometimes the screen is all black. Some projects, I can play at first, but they stutter. Delete the file cache temporarily fixed but not for long. Program seems to use a lot of memory as well. Cs6 works very well. Ive had to convert some projects in xml and import to CS6 in order to finish them. Others are too big to do that, and still others have sequences of multi-cames, so they do not translate to cs6 and clips mix. I went out and tried to buy more ram (Frys were not what I had) and fight a SSD 1 TB in hopes that he could solve the problem. NO GO! Still, Cs6 works very well. Someone had this problem?

  I installed the new version of Premiere Pro to cut a video and sync some sounds on it.

  I've heard that it is not possible...

  But its totally useless, as the video preview so super lag, who does hard no way I could work with her.

  Oh, and Premiere and After Effects work a little different for reading. AE always generates a preview of RAM (the green bar), while first is usually read in real time with little problem (but not in your case, unfortunately).   Got a new Satellite C650 two weeks ago. Everything on it runs very slowly.

  To be honest it is always difficult to discuss issues such as a series of portable computers slow down because nobody knows what exactly you were doing and what additional programs that you have installed.

  Done if you have installed another anti-virus software, make sure that the pre-installed McAfee of Toshiba is removed.
  If you have two antivirus installed, they will slow down the performance.

  You can also defragment the HARD drive. This can also increase performance.

  Whenever I try to write, then read the response from the device, I see that nothing of CAN read ONLY the first to be called. After that, it works like a champ. I tried to play with the waiting time of the function of waiting, waiting for the loop, the time-out values... almost everything I could think of. I opened the monitor bus OR-XNET and confirmed that I indeed get a response back from the device, however, my code does not reflect this. Interestingly, when I run the NOR-XNET read VI in a loop of its own, it reads very well.

  Call first to start. XNET impliictly starts on IO (read/write) access. You call all first write (from the writer) and then calling Read (from the drive). If you want that the player started before the first entry, call Start on the session of reading outside the loop.

  Adobe Elements first 13 (current version).  Does the installed PC active antivirus (McAfee Suite) slow down the loading of the assets of the project first?  I have a video very good size project created.  Opening this project takes approximately 20 minutes until all images of individual thumbnail included in the assets of the project appear fully upward.  A little pain as one can not really start to work the project until all the elements are present.  These suites of virus usually double-check each file as it is recharged?  I don't understand exactly how Adobe is to build the assets of the project, but it seems to me that they could use a formula better indexing to speed this process up.  Besides McAfee, I also run a series of malicious software (Malwarebytes), who, I think, could also contribute to this problem of slowness.  I wonder, since all Adobe PE13 files are on my PC, do you think programs, virus and malware even not worth watching during a charge process PE13 or is that when a new external file enters the PC system (and of course in a analysis)?

  McAfee is infamous for its interference with Premiere Elements. So that it only take a hit in this case useless, why not turn it off and do before and after the test to determine if disabling it has an effect on performance. I remember correctly, some have uninstall it rather than simply turn off via the real-time Protection.

  When you talk of "a pretty good-sized video project created", could you put some numbers on it in terms of duration and complexity?

  b. last card a card video driver version according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?

  c. description of computer - processor, clock speed, available RAM, free space on the hard drive...?

  d. What are the formats in the project and the level of complexity is the structure of the timeline and content when these projects are registered closed?

  Try to uncheck 'Use graphics processor' in the Performance preferences pane.

  The spot tool was not one of the features improved through GPU, but I noticed that it actually influence its use. IE. It it slows down until I have untick.

• First reading slowly Pro sequences

  Strange thing - I've been playing with some audio settings. All of a sudden all my sequences are lower than real-time playback. A 30 second clip takes about 32.3 seconds to play. The music and the voice overs are slower.

  I tried to restart the mac. It affects all my projects - not just the one that I was workign on at the time.

  Anyone encountered this?

  OK, I think I solved it. I had turned on a camera firewire (DVX-100) and it connected to the computer. I think that the computer is somehow synchronized to the camera. Once I turned off the camera and restarted first he started to work very well.
