Small print

Is it possible to enlarge the fonts of type/off past to the Control Panel/customization? All web sites, which, a type which is about the size of 4-6.
This is also true when I try to print from a web site.
How can I get the font type/size (10-12)? I use a magnifying glass to read all that I feel. And very difficult to read while on the site/page.

Hello

Click on the Page/text size and choose a size bigger. Medium is the default value. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

  • No matter what I print, it comes in very small print. How should I do?

I've been printing of various items from my computer and no matter what I printed, it comes out in very small print, even when I highlight a selection.

    Thank you for your help.

Check your layout, and the properties of the printer for things like: pages per sheet, reduced to fit the page width, paper size, resizing, etc.
If still the issue, please post: the model of the printer, how was the connected printer, how and what driver is installed, what app (s) used to print (browser, word or other), your computer (PC, Mac, etc.) and the version of the OS.

  • Print preview screen forces small print

Something happened to the preview screen before printing. It displays the Web site to print as a small box centered at the top of the preview screen print and force feel also like a small box at the top of the printed page. If I change the scale, the image in the Exchange area but not the box itself. This is the box to fill the screen, so it will fill the page when it is printed.

I fixed my own problem - then I will document in case anyone has the same problem. First of all, he had nothing to do with the preview before printing. I found that if I print from the file menu (file / print), which bypassed the print preview, it displays the same little box. When I opened the properties of the printers, I noticed that the Page size has been defined: User Defined (3.5 x 5.0 inches). Where that come from I don't know, but when I changed the size of the Page of: letter (8.5 x 11) and printed the webpage, it filled the paper. Now I can open print preview and it shows the mode full-screen and print the full document. What is strange, is that before I made this change, printing from another browser (like IE) print a web page very well. Only when I used Firefox Page size have not shown in 3.5 x 5.0. I guess the size of the Page - while in Firefox - fixed the problem.

  • Small print of Thunderbird

My problem just started recently, before I had no problem with printing or the scaling in the print preview mode. When you try to print recently Thunderbird only will show and print a small quantity of a page. I tried to use the print preview to adjust the size, but makes very little to help. It seems like Thunderbird thinks the top of the left page 3 "by 3" is the entire page.

On Firefox, which I think is very similar, this can be caused by storing incorrect data on your printer. You can blank (reset) the data stored for Thunderbird to interrogate Windows again for her.

To do this, you can use the Configuration Editor. You can call it upwards by following the steps in this article: Config Editor.

In the search above the list of the preferences box, type or paste printer and make a pause so that the list is filtered. You can find all the problem Printer preferences, and right-click > reset them. The fastest way is to click with the mouse in your right hand and press the r key to Reset active on the shortcut menu.

Note: In some other discussions involving printers Brother, the preference printer_printer_name.print_paper_data was established in 256 and when the user changed it to 1 that solved the problem of paper size. If you see a 256 here, you can change the value by double-clicking it or by using the right click > modify.

The next time that you try to print, Thunderbird is expected to launch a new query Windows. Any improvement?

  • in all programs too small print. How can I make it bigger?

For some reason, the printing letter got so small, that I can hardly read it. How can I make the biggest letters?

    Hi Mary,

I understand that the font size is too small, when you print from the printer connected to Windows 8.

I'll be happy to help you, if you could provide the information needed to help you.

    (1) what is the brand and model of the printer?

    (2) is specific to a particular program?

    (3) remember you to make changes prior to this problem?

I suggest to check printing preferences and check if you can resize the fonts to print.

I also suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if that helps.

    (a) open the document that contains the text you want to print in large format.

    (b) click and drag the mouse over the part of the text you want to enlarge. To increase the size of all the text, click on 'Edit' and then 'Select all' from the menu.

    (c) click the dropdown next to the name of the font. There will be a number inside, which is the current size of your font.

    (d) select a number greater than one already posted to increase the font size.

Hope that the information helps, if you have additional questions or for any question related to Windows, do not hesitate to post. We will be happy to help you.

  • Too small print in Photoshop CS4 with HP 8500 printer all in one

I am running Windows XP with CS4 and the latest patches and drivers.  When I print a picture on my HP 8500 all in one printer, the print is too small.  Instead of an image to 4 x 6 centered in the page, I have a 1 x 1-1/4 inch small characters of the image in the upper left corner.

I have re-installed CS3 and it works perfectly, just like any other print, such as word options, etc.  But Photoshop CS4, I find no way to print to this printer without the image reduced in size.  If I print to a different printer during the same session, the image is fine.  Therefore, a single PS CS4 vs HP 8500 problem I guess.

I see this post in other forms and no help yet.  Someone at - it of it on their radar.  I really like this printer, but it's pretty boring.

Furthermore, if I print to PDF from PS CS4, the image of the pdf file is fine.  It's an another end around for printing also. HMMMM.

I contacted HP and they put the issue squarely on Adobe.  No partnership.

    Thank you

    Glen

  • Is there a option of zoon of the Web pages with Mozilla Firefox, if I have trouble reading the small print?

I take a class any web business, and I can't find a lot of the functions that they speak.

    Hello
Have you tried the Firefox zoom feature? This initiative will increase the size of the web pages.

    • To make things bigger, press Ctrl and + at the same time.
    • To make things smaller, press Ctrl and - at the same time.
    • Pour reinitialiser to reset the size of return to normal, press Ctrl and 0 at the same time.

You can also use the NoSquint add-on to change the zoom level by default for all websites at the same time. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.

    With the help of NoSquint:

    1. After installation of NoSquint, make sure you have the add-on bar displayed:

      • Click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.
    2. Click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.
      • You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but it is not recommended that you will more than 150%, unless you have a large screen high resolution.

If there are sites that are still a concern, feel free to post their URLs.

Please let us know if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • Photosmart 7762: Photosmart 7762 small print page in A4 since the upgrade to Windows 10

I have just updated to Windows 7 to 10.  When I go to print an A4 document now doing at a reduced size that I have an additional border of space to the left and down.  The page is set to A4 of the printer is set for A4 and I tried printing and printing actual size to fit, but it makes no difference.   I deleted and reinstalled the printer so that it would probably use the most recent driver, but even when it makes no difference.

    HELP PLEASE

(PS. My old LaserJet 1200 always print the same document A4 correctly after the upgrade to Windows 10)

    Problem solved.

First tried to download HP printer Installation Wizard, which is installed as a brother of generic but with HP Photosmart 7760 showing when you click above but it just printed pages of random characters.

Then the printer found possedantes-advanced-new pilot and started to windows update and it evetually listed series printers so I clicked it and now it prints A4 OK again.
