  The original and the PDF files have different extensions, so they can be saved in the same folder.

  Regarding automation you might see if you can use Automator to do. Find it in your Applications folder.

  You can create a library and use the change settings of the Inspector to indicate the location outside the media library. Move the event / project (s) you want to have external support for the new library. Once you are convinced that events/projects in the new library are working, you can move events of origin to the trash. (Or yo can trash the entire library in the Finder).

  I understand your concern, but it is by default in a particular location, you will need to manually, navigate to the location you want to save the file.

  You should try to include a web font, but you cannot use those during the creation of course, so when you publish or correct fonts you have alignment issues.

  You can create a symbolic link from your new folder archived at the same place the original file was.

  You will need to use the Terminal to create the link, but there may be third party GUI tools.

  In the Terminal, use cd to change your current working directory to the location of the old archived folder.

  Terminal opens in your home folder, so you can work from there. For example, if your archived file was in the Documents, use
