• What happened to the Brush tool? (important smoothing + speed issues)

  This is a legitimate concern. I use a fun bamboo, equipped with a processor i53470 with 8gig of ram and a graphics card than 660ti Windows 10.

  First of all, I want to start by saying the Brush tool, even with its zoom feature should not have the second 0.5 + deadline for this. It is completely smooth on the Cs6, it happened in CC? It slows down seriously my workflow.

  Even in this case, it is not as obvious a problem way is pretty CRUMMY new brush. Here is an example just to show the difference, I don't exaggerate, just write the word "Budokai" Cs6 and CC.

  That's happened? Many other users seem to have this problem, so I don't think it's just me. That's happened? When will I receive the classic back brush? I'm happy if it is not set on the scale if it means my drawing line can see half decent.

  So far, I'm not terribly impressed by Animate. This destroyed the frame-by-frame animation workflow that need to draw quickly and smoothly. If I had an intuos I would not get this? This is absurd.

• Brush strokes are not smooth, all the circles

  I use CS2 on a 6 year old computer.

  This has never happened before, but rather started 2 days ago.

  When I pull a brush stroke across my image, the stroke is not smooth.  The line looks like in it is composed of all backgrounds, and I see the edges where I pull the race.

  I use my CS2 for color my lineart and cartoons.

  This could be an indication of not enough RAM?

  What could be?

• Smoothing at the beginning of a brush stroke

  In Adobe animate CC sensor for when I start my initial run in aid of sensitivity to pressure with the Brush tool seems to start much smaller and stronger than what I'm used to. I really do pause for half a second before leaving to continue my stroketo sure I've pressed hard enough and record before continuing the rest of my drawn line. This slows down my cleaning process and basically feels clunky.

• Photoshop CC 2015 is a line connecting the start and end of the brush strokes

  Hi guys,.

  I had a strange problem with a certain brush (size 5px, difficult tour, no shape dynamics, no transfer) in Photoshop CC 2015.1.2.

  It only happens when the drawing very fast on my Cintiq 22HD.

  The problem is PS is a line connecting the start and end of the brush strokes. I don't hold in shift or whatever it is.

  

  Here's my brush settings:

  Intel Core i7 - 4790 K 4.00 GHz

  ASUS motherboard

  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (10.18.13.5354 driver version)

  16 GB OF RAM

  Cintiq 22HD

  Is it a question of PS or Cintiq?

  OK, here is therefore an update.

  The problem is not at all with Photoshop or Cintiq, with Windows 10 parameters of the stylus.

  Fortunately, there is a small piece of free software that you can download called "Fix my pen" (by Smith Reddy) which defines the features of Windows Tablet PC in the registry for you (essentially by disabling everything related to it):

  It works fine on Win10 too.

  Now, as my original problem with Photoshop to do a line connecting the start and end of the brush strokes left, however I have another question more small that came after running difficulty my pen. The lines that I draw now are not smoothed by a software more. You can see the difference below.

  

  Fix My Pen sets a lot of things in the registry, but you cannot individually control which setting is disabled. So I guess that one of them is the cause.

  

  I expect response from Smith about it, cause I have no idea who he is.

• SMU-4304 causing the ripple on the input signal?

  I have an SMU-1082 chassis that contains a high-6341 and a PXI-4304 module.  To check my code, I have connected the analog input (channel 0) of the 4304 to the digital output (PFI 12) of the 6341.  My program VI shows a ripple of Vpp 0.2 on the analog input that I'm not using a scope.

  The wiring is SMU-6341 [12 PFI, DGND]-> SCB - 68 a,--> TB-4304 [AI0 +, -]-> SMU-4304

  I have attached photos of the verses reach the graphical VI.  The scope is the AI0 + AI0-terminals and the TB-4304.

  Y at - it a supplement on the ground that I should use, or is - this normal for the-4304 to add the ripple?

  Short answer, is that there is nothing wrong with what you see.

  You have connected a digital output signal low impedance to a digitizer analog high input impedance. Since a digital signal is essentially a square of variable in time wave and square wave have edges of transition that contain information of very high frequency, you will almost always see a form of "ripple" (see animation synthesis of fourier of a signal square from this Wikipedia page ). Thus, a digital output signal is more concerned with the synchronization and the upgrade to be a square wave perfect.

  In addition, you can see additional "ripple" because of differences between the SMU-4304 and the noculars that you have demonstrated. the noculars can be a combination of a bandwidth of upper entrance (which can come from various sources like low sampling frequency on the 4304 which would result in a higher frequency of information recorded by the noculars for smoother transitions to research) and, possibly, a lower input impedance (causing less, if any, the reflection of signal which would cause the ringing of the signal).

• Photoshop canvas make errors while using the Brush tool.

  I searched google for solutions to my problem, but could not find any results. There is a screenshot of the included below number.

  This problem occurs when you use the Brush tool in Photoshop 2015.1.2 version. Areas rasterized, you see in the image below temporarily appear. If I change the scale of the preview of the Web, the problem goes away and the image appears correctly. I tried to change/disable the GPU settings but nothing has changed. I use a Tablet Wacom Intros 5 and I have the problem with the Tablet and mouse.

  I work in OSX El Capitan.

  Any ideas as to causes or solutions to this problem? Thank you.

  

  Update your driver from the website of the manufacturer of the GPU video card.

• The Brush tool is uneven and wavy?

  Well I looked around programs flash for a long time, but every time I try a Brush tool is the same stupid shit. It however seems to be a common problem and not on Adobe and I'm hoping to God that is not the case. I mean really? Well I just downloaded Adobe Anime cc for his essay feeling so sure it would work, and the question of brush tool would have gone. But NO, the SAME QUESTION IS THERE. At this point, I wonder if its my OH pen display that I use, that could be the problem? Could someone tell me if you happen to use a pen display of OH and if the brush on this program works very well for them? If not, is there some kind of fix for this? It makes me crazy! As I said, when I draw a line with the Paintbrush tool, it seems very rigid and terrible. The only way I can fix it if I have smoothing at least 40%, but what makes the lines slightly inaacurate to what I intend and the fact that it makes the design SO slow, and I need to be quick! Help for the love of God!

• Using the SPACEBAR temporarily move sometimes causes the tool change.

  When I Zoom in on an image I can choose a tool (for example the stamp) with my mouse. Then I can change brush with shortcut key (b) tool. If I then choose to move the image by pressing the space, when the space bar is released the tool that I took with the mouse (stamp) will be active. This should have been the Brush tool as it was the last tool that I used, I should be able to pan without tool change.

  Thank you guys. I tried to reset the preferences. This does not affect the problem. I found that it was caused by a plugin installation. I had installed Pixelsquid, even if it was not checked and 'Load extension panels' has been disabled in the preferences I would meet the problem. After uninstalling the plug-in, the problem has been resolved. At this point for me the solution is to remove the plugin Pixelsquid (although I think it is pretty cool). I appreciate that you guys have responded to my request in a very timely manner. Thanks again.

• 'Reset the brushes' and 'Clear' adjustment brush works not

  I used the filter graduated and then attempted to use the adjustment brush to clear areas. I am able to select the brush 'A' or 'B', but not 'clear '. When you click clear becomes brighter as if chosen, it does not hold once I move the mouse. Also, the adjustment brush does not show the button "reset brushes. Superb guidance, I used Lynda, where the adjustment brush dialog box is identical to the exception including the button 'Reset the brushes'. I noticed that on the next instruction on Lynda video, "corrections with the adjustment brush paint ', brushes 'reset' button is missing." What makes present or not? Will be reseting the brushes make using 'clear '? Why does is not 'Erase'?

  Just found the cause here...

  The steps that followed you to date:

  1. apply the graduated on the image filter.

  2. Select the adjustment brush and choose clear

  This deletion cannot be selected because there is no pin code of the brush to clear.

  For adjustments to delete, it should have a pin code.

  The correct workflow would be:

  1. apply the filter graduated on the image (do not click on actually)

  2 Select the brush in the graduated filter (this option is available under mask: next to edit)

  3. choose clear of there

• Function callback in a control of the brush

  Most of my photo editing is done in Lightroom, I still use CS5 Extended to specific tasks to my occasional Photoshop.

  
  

  When I bring a photo in PS, one of my favorite keyboard shortcuts has been pressing the command and Option set to adjust the brush size and hardness. By moving my trackball to the left or right, I can control the size of the brush; by moving upwards or downwards, I can control the softness of the edges brush. Very convenient!

  However, as I went to Yosemite, by Apple's current operating system, the brush no longer has any color. It was red, which makes it easy to see the size and smoothness of the edge of the brush. Now I see a transparent circle, which gives me the General size of the brush, but not simulate the sharpness or softness of the edge.

  I spent the time looking at the preferences of Photoshop, but I could not find an arrangement that would restore the color to this shortcut of brush. I hope that it is possible to bring it back; It is very useful. I would be happy to know ways to do it. Thank you very much!

  There are a number of things to check:

  1. go into Photoshop > Preferences > Performance and verify that enable OpenGL drawing is checked

  2. go into Photoshop > preferences > cursors and check that the brush Preview > color is set to Red (RGB 255,0,0)

  
  

  Do you have you upgrade your old os x to Yosemite with photoshop cs5 already installed or is this a new computer and a new installation of photoshop cs5?

• The brush preview size / size of the actual brush stroke do not match?

  I recently acquired a Macbook Air (2012 version) and it came with preloaded extended CS5. Everything seems to work fine, with the exception of these two things:

  1. whenever I select everything - which means all - brush and place a point or a stroke, the width of the line is ALWAYS less than the size of the preview of the brush.

  With the size of the brush on the left, point out the size of the point on the right.

  

  2 the pencil tool has exactly the same problem. Besides, when I use the pencil tool, the little cross in the middle of the brush preview becomes slightly offset down and little bit to the right on each even number. (for example, cross is centered in brush 3px, offset brush 4px, centered at 5px brush, compensated by 6px brush.

  I reset my settings to brush several times. As far as I know, this is not a problem of any individual brush setting.

  As someone who does a lot of pixel art, this brought essentially my work to a complete stop. I would be very happy to help.

  What version of mac os x are you using?

  Look under System > Preferences > accessibility > display and see if the size of the cursor is defined on another than Normal

  (you want the size of the cursor set to Normal)

  

• How to reset the BRUSH of the smudge for Mac CS6 tool? Accidentally changed the brush, it now leaves the rough marks when all other parameters are the same. Help, please!

  I don't know what is happening, but the brush for the smudge tool has apparently disappeared and he lets these brands restless instead of its smooth mix, no matter WHAT I do with the brush.   In the top tool bar on the extreme left side, is an icon that resembles the tool used. Right-click on it to choose to reset the menu. An alternative is to click on the same icon so in this dialog box is a sprocket wheel icon, click it will bring up a menu of plu, you can choose tool to reset there as well.

• Help with the Brush tool!

  Hi all

  I am very new to Illustrator.  I followed this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGOeuEsgDrI.  I managed to make the wreath a style brush but when I create an ellipse with no filling/brush stroke and hit my created Crown brush, leaves extends around the border, but the circle is blackened (filled).  It is a different result that the tutorial where the leaves are the border and there is no fill.  When I choose other paint tools, such as the banner (it looks like a Ribbon), it behaves as the tutorial shows and the Center is not filled (as does the Crown Brush tool.  Please refer to the following screen shot, in comparing the two.

  When you created the stem you probably had a fill that are associated with him. This caused it to fill with black when you assigned him to a circle.

  If you still have the original work used to create the branch, select only the stem and make sure that it is set to "no fill". Then option-do the work dragging the brush in the Panel icon shapes. This will update the work with the new art. Simply register and select "update to work. Your circle will now be hallow.

  If you do not have the original work, drag the icon of the brush on the artboard, remove center line filling and updating the art of the brush.

• Hardness of the brush

  I have problems with PSE10 on mac install.

  When I try and use a round brush with a hardness of 100%, there is always news drop-off density from the Center to the outside of the brush. "The brush and layer are in mode" normal ". I have reset the brush tools. I deleted the files preference for PSE10. What the other settings should I check? I know that "brush flow" does not appear as a menu item in PSE10, but you can change it with the buttons. I messed up with this and you can see the darkness of the change in the drop-down list brush - I only defined on the '00' parameter [shift-apple, #], which, I believe, he puts 100.

  Any other ideas? Been pulling my hair out for a while now...

  It's probably normal to the Brush tool, that some anti-aliasing is still used for the Brush tool, even if the hardness is 100% up to

  the edges look much more smooth.

  The pencil tool applies any anti-aliasing features, so the rough edges to the research.
