• Missing bookmarks in the smart search field in Safari

  Since the release of El Capitan 10.11.6, favorites are missing from the smart search field in Safari to new Windows.  If a Safari any page web (so far), clicking in the search box if poster is Favorites to view icons, as is expected.

  Is this a bug, or can I make some adjustments to bring them new windows?

  Hello Dick Huitema.

  If I understand your message to the right, when you open a new window in Safari, you do not see your favorite icons in the smart search field.  When I use Safari, I always like to have my favorites available and ready to use, so I can understand why you would be tender for assistance with this.

  You probably feel that if Safari is set to open new windows in an empty page. If yours is configured in this way, there is a very easy way to get these favorites icons to show without actually changing any settings. When you open a Web page, you should see a blank webpage with your top search bar and a cursor blinking in the search bar. Instead click inside the search bar right away, click anywhere on the empty Web page and then click on in the empty search bar. You should then see your Favorites icons appear.

  Another option is to set your homepage to your Favorites. You can do it in Safari > Preferences. On the general tab in Safari preferences, select the drop-down menu next to "new windows open with", and then choose favorite. This should ensure that when you open new web pages, all your Favorites icons show immediately. Favorites icons always appear in the smart search field when additional tabs are open as well.

• How to get back to 3 text fields in the footer

  When you open a new document pages, the footer contains three default text fields.  I have a document where I removed somehow 2 3 fields foot leaving only 1. I would like to add the other 2 fields in the footer, but I am unable to find a setting that would let me. My search terms are apparently useless because I can't find any thread on point in a search. Any ideas?

  You can not remove the tripartite fields in a header or a footer. If you visit the view menu: display invisible characters, you will probably discover tabs or spaces that forced each cell to the right in your footer. Just remove these external characteristics and you will restore the three cells to your footer.

  It will come as a software update. Everything you need is in place on the iPhone Plus 7 buy it whenever you want.

  For some reason any change automatically if change you it online. Today, I changed my password through my office and I went to change the mail and she had already changed.

  You can try to delete your account your unit off and add it again.

  Pressing this icon small keyboard should work (done on my iPhone 7). Until someone answers with more information, another thing you could try is to open the keyboard when the phone is vertical and then put it too horizontal.

• Search in the comment field in iTunes no longer works

  I use the latest version of iTunes. For each song, I wrote different types of information in the comment field. Suddenly the search function does not include the comment field more. It's very frustrating. I searched this forum and searched through Google. Unfortunately, without success, none of the tips that I found can solve the problem. Hoping to find some help here.

  The deposited comment is actually displayed in the playlist when you're looking? Some fields do not appear in a search if they are not displayed.

• Upgrade: numbers can not find the field to change!

  Sorry if I am dense here, I'm sure that there is an obvious answer, anyone here know, but I can't imagine it or find info already online.

  I just upgraded from Cougar to El Capitan.  Then, I upgraded a previous numbers spreadsheet to edit it in El Capitan.  After the installation, I printed it and a field I can't see anywhere on the new version, or find any path, spell on the print-out (immediately above the table and text on 2 lines).

  I think that this field used to be editable in Mountain Lion in a sidebar on the left, but I don't remember the name of it so I can't find how to access in an upgraded version.  I don't know, however, is not the name of the table or sheet name because I can see where to edit those.

  Can someone please help me find the way to access this hidden field so that I can change it?

  I just answered my own question!   After hours of searching in the Inspector, I had an idea more now after I had posted this question here, of course.

  In the case where it is useful to all of you who don't know already (jumped several major improvements to the operating system, so I'm exceptionally behind with new features/functions): it can be seen and edited in the print dialog box.  The 'invisible' text appears and zoom in for a better view, you can change it.

  It is possible to customize the fields for each contact in edit mode. Just click any empty field on the up/down icon next to it.

  If you have not created these custom contacts fields, you may have imported contacts?

• No accessible location in pictures field

  When I select obtain information about Photos, I can see the screen with information and edit all fields except the location field.  The card is also appear no more.  For photos where the details have been added previously, I don't see a description of the location (city, province, country).  I can't change it.  I'm having the problem after the opening of my Aperture library and libraries now have the same questions.

  I can also add that I just tried to create a new library of Photos and even if under metadata location is selected, the location of the field is not appearing when I choose to get information.

• I can't change my list of JIU, as only 3 addresses appear in the BCC field

  There is generally enough visible space 3-(Cc/BCC) fields as the automatic display.

  When there are multiple e-mail addresses can be established, a scroll bar should appear on the right side.

  However, by dragging the bar down reveals more.
  Place the cursor on the line and the cursor should change to a double arrow head.
  Left click and hold down the key to grab the line, and then drag.

• I have a list in Word of e-mail addresses. How can I get in the field bcc of email

  I want to write an email to 50 recipients. I have a list of e-mail addresses in Word. I can separate them by points or commas etc. How can I get them, en masse, in my email as BCC addresses. I agree not to go in my address book. This is an email at once.

  Point 1. Addresses go into your address book. There is no where else to put them. Don't want thenm in your personal address book. Add another.

  Point 2. You need to format addresses to a CSV file and save them in word as such. Excel or any spreadsheet will do a better job of that than Word.

  Point 3. The CSV file must be safed UTF-8 text. Excel, I know that is not an additional step to open the file in Notepad and select explicitly UFT-8 in the dialogue being required to Excel.

  Point 4. The CSV file should be im in the Thunderbird AddressBook using the import menu item.

  Point 5 you must align the headers in the CSV file explicitly with the Thunderbird ones uses, otherwise the address that you import will not be in the e-mail address field.

  You can also create a single line with the addresses of electronic mail in Word. Separated by a comma and the copy and place your cursor in the BCC field use the hotkey Ctrl + V to paste them into the message header. Note that this is not technically supported and if you're wrong spaces and commas by things like Returns or tabs all you will get is an email that does not send.

• That means red in the recipient field?

  Sometimes when I'm composing outgoing e-mail, the address that I type in the recipient field appears in red, and sometimes it appears black. It is on Thunderbird 38.3.0, but it happened with the last several versions.

  Initially I thought that Red means that the address is not valid as typed in, or (b) the address is valid, but not present in the address book. However, it seems now that red appears randomly and often enough, even if the message is a response (and I do not have the automatic collection of addresses on) or even if I know for sure that the address is displayed in my address book.

  Can someone explain what color is it wants to say?

  Could be red if the address is not EXACTLY the same as in one of the books usual address, (not "Collected addresses" or 'All address books'). This feature can prevent the misspelling of an e-mail address,

  There is also a problems bug report with the red text when you manually add an address in a window of writing. It's just a Visual thing, it does not prevent the message being sent. Just check out double for a misspelled address.
