  There used to be a problem of speed on the far, very far, which has been resolved by the upgrade to iMovie 10.1.2.  The upgrade would be your solution if that's your problem.

  If you already use 10.1.2 so you can make the title more slowly scroll by placing your cursor on the edge of the title element in the timeline and drag the clip of the song so that it develops.    Further you drag it, the slower the scroll with get.

  I have used Firefox for a long time and have as my default browser. However the continual 'Firefox is not responding' makes me stupid.

  My OS is Windows 10 and my version of Firefox 41.0.1

  I tried various solutions, which none have worked so far, including renaming them the places.sqlite.old places.sqlite, uncheck "use hardware acceleration etc." and many others. I also have minimal active plugins.

  The sites I used to visit are mainly new type sites, although of course there are others such as sports facilities, youtube etc...

  I know that others have had this problem and some seem to have had their particular problem diagnosed, but despite all my efforts, I can't locate an answer that solved my.

  I appreciate any help you might be able to give, and I am grateful for your interest to help me solve the problem.

  A little more on the topic of Flash: since Flash can cause this problem and it is used everywhere around the web, I suggest the following to minimize potential problems with Flash in your troubleshooting:

  (1) to avoid unnecessary pain on the sites where the Flash is not really essential, try to set the Flash on Click-to-Play (Ask 'activation'). This will delay the Flash start on a page, until you approve.

  To set 'Ask to activate', open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.

  With this setting, when you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and usually (but not always) one of the following values: a link in a gray rectangle dark in the page or an information bar sliding between the toolbar and in the page area.

  The plugin notification in the address bar icon usually resembles a little Lego block, dark gray. (If it is red, Flash must update.)

  The delay in the activation of Flash can help distinguish between the problems caused on the initial page load, put in folds and script activation vs Flash/loading bar.

  If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the notification icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can trust the site for the time being or permanently.

  Hi John, I'm guessing that this icon is created and updated by an extension. I do not know that, though. Maybe something that keeps track of the Tracker, like Lightbeam? Have you tried pointing your mouse over the icon to see if a ToolTip is displayed, or by clicking on it?

  You can disable or remove unwanted page extensions modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  I checked on I.E. and I had no problem with that, then I guess it's a firefox issue.

  Try the Firefox Safe Mode to see how it works there. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  No, it isn't. This "control" is part of a regular toolbar now. Any element of the toolbar can be out on the tab bar, as with other toolbars.

      It was a big mistake to download the current version of Firefox.  I thought I could just drag the old version out of the trash and reinstall it if I didn't like the new version, but it has disappeared.  How can I get a previous version?

• Text entered in Far Far Away is not persistent

  Text is entered in the rendering engine for the title Far Far Away and works, but did not survive the closing of the project, or when share on used DVDs.  Used successfully several times before.  Still another title generator works correctly.  Latest version of Yosemite and FCPX 10.2.2.  Haven't tried upgrading to 10.2.3 trying to complete a major project.

  If you don't want to (understandable to mid-project) update, try this: copy and paste your text from a publisher of doc in the title text field. Export the clip of the title as a master file in Pro Res 4444 to preserve transparency. Re-import the clip, that I hope the text now cooked in. Add to the project.
