  Now I'm showing only a single instance of the printer asking for drivers multifunction adapter in Device Manager. Therefore, I uninstall and long and shows no return once again.

  One thing FO, this printer is not actually a multifunction type.

  The system is currently NOT error display or ask drivers.

  As much as I know Toshiba has never supported WXP 64 bit. In other words, I think that Toshiba has never installed this version on any laptop model. As you know also WXP is history and not even Microsoft offer support to get it out it will be very difficult to find some drivers for it, especially the chipset.

  Just FYI: your portable computer has Realtek RTL8723AE WLAN card inside.
  Have you tried to install Win7 64 bit driver WLAN? Check it on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

  The chipset is Chipset Mobile Intel HM70 Express to check if you can find something on Intel download section.

  It's very problematic with new laptops models and the older operating systems.

  I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and Office 2010 beta on a gateway M285-e. I can't print XPS or OneNote 2010 file. When I go to check the properties of the printer, I get an error reading:

To install I had to find the brand and model of the printer (make: 'Microsoft'; model: "Microsoft XPS Document Writer") in the master list in the Add Printer Wizard and complete the wizard. This fixed the problem of the XPS Document. It also fixes printing on printer OneNote 2010 as well. I was never able to find the driver to print to OneNote feature, but apparently the feature depends on printing on XPS document printer. Setting the XPS print driver paper fixed both of my problems.

  If you installed the Windows operating system without using the HP recovery media, then you will need to download and install all the drivers missing/software separately.
