Have you tried specifying the sort by Date to month name, as a secondary sort. This could be done to the RPD.

I need my exit list of jan to dec and not in alphabetical order from a to z. Therefore, kindly help me in sorting.

Also, I heard that we can set the month of jan-dec using decode. If none knows it too kindly let me know

    Hello

If you want the ' January the first, no matter what year they are in; is this fair?

    Here's a way

    SELECT ename, empno

    TO_CHAR (hirdeate, 'months') AS Mój

    FROM scott.emp

    ORDER OF TO_CHAR (hiredate, 'MM')

    ;

You can use an expression BOX (or DECODE) If you really want to.  It would not be difficult, just to long (12 WHEN...) Branches THEN, according to your needs).

Anyway to get my laptop to remember what it October again? Do not know if it is connected but it also completely forgotten that I have my trackpad tap to click and three fingers to drag, and I put DND in Notifications.

    Hi Ben Collier.

Looks like you're some problems with your Mac, specifying the digital number for the month, instead of the names of the months themselves. Also, you have some problems with the trackpad preferences and do not disturb for notifications. I can see how you would like to get this all resolved. We'll see what we can do.

I would like to first of all, you have set the trackpad preferences and do not disturb the notifications as you want, then start up the Mac in safe mode.

OS X El Capitan: Notifications preferences

OS X El Capitan: start in safe mode

Once you're in safe mode, please try to see if the names of the months are returned and that the trackpad still works as expected. If the names of the months back, please restart the Mac and open the calendar application and then check to make sure that the problem is solved. If issues are not resolved in safe mode, please create a test user and verify. This will help us to determine if the questions are the scale of the system or a specific user.

After a computer crash, I had to load Thunderbird (v31.3.0) in my computer running Windows 8.1, and I managed to import my address book backup file in Thunderbird (v31.3.0).
My problem is that I don't see an option to sort the address book by name of 'Family', which was available with the version of Thunderbird, I had before the crash.

    "Address book".
    Select address book
    "View' > 'Show name as' > last/first". "

    You can sort by name.
Click on the 'Name' column header to change the sort order,
Reversed, then click on the 'Name' column header again to reverse the order.

    Or
    'View' > ' sort by ' > select 'Name' and 'Crescent '.

    Hello, DWHarp

Please use the Forum for answers!

Click on the name of title just above the list to change sorting options, it will toggle between first name and family name, Crescent/descending Crescent/descending.

The settings should be saved automatically.

    I hope this helps.

I'm on version 4.1.1.00.23 of the APEX. I've created a classic report and I am trying to sort. Here's how I'm trying to sort by column name. I have TotPGPV with sorting sequence 1 desc and NewTOTPGPV with sorting sequence 2 desc. I have Count1, Count5 with the sort column. What I'm asking is when the report is run can column sorting to default Count1 and Count5 descending instead of the ascendant. I don't see anywhere to set the default value for the sort column.

Hi - on the report of the page attributes - that you show in your attached screenshot - you can select the columns to sort on the sort sequence as well as the direction of the sort, i.e. for a given column, you can choose to allow sorting on this column, what position this column must be in the sort sequence and whether to sort Ascending or descending by default (i.e. '1' means sort this column first and bottom-up and "1 desc") sort this column first and downhill). Don't forget that once you click on one of the headings of column during execution, it changes your sort settings and these settings are stored in your preferences, that is, they are used again the next time you log in your application and rerun the report.

  • Hello, my name is Yannick I'm a photographer that concerns me here is on the part of the monthly payment.

Hello, my name is Yannick I'm a photographer, a user base of Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. My concern here is on the part of the monthly payment.

I bought Adobe CC with Photoshop and lightroom almost 6 months on my credit card.

Now, he goes down the money to the bank account each month.
I closed my credit a few weeks back card, so no my subscription is expired.

The major issue that I would look at is I just want to buy out lightroom off the market from online store

Adobe Store - Adobe Lightroom upgrade 6.

so I don't have to continue to pay money for it!
Is it possible that I have buy off and install the key (buy Upgrade)

because it's a pain that once my CC works and another day it doesn't!

    Hi thariqh,

Yes, you can cancel the subscription online for Lightroom and buy standalone Lightroom as upgrade if you have an older version of Lightroom.

If you do not have any old version of Lightroom then you must purchase a full license for it.

  • How can I order a list first for the year and sort the months each year?

    Hello

I created a report that lists a number of items grouped by month, although elements it since 2012 so together and you spend your order is strange because the groups to report on 2 months.

    example:

    2013 - 01-50

    01/2012 - 56

    02/2013 - 45

    02/2012 - 54

    .

    .

    .

How do I ordernar first a year and and sort the months each year?

    Sort by DATE... not VARCHAR2

It is a thing of database, not an APEX.

In your select statement to the report, the column for DATE information must be one data type DATE or another...

    MK

    PS - TRUNC (a_date_column, 'MONTH')

  • Beginner question - download the version of the host and sort by host name and version

    Hello

I'm trying to get the version of the host of my hosts in vCenter and then sort the output in a table by name and version, but I'm pretty new to powershell and I have zero programming background, so I can't understand it.

    What I got so far is the following;

    Get-vmhost | % {(Get-vue $_.ID).} Config.Product} | Tri-objet fullname | format-table FullName

You get the version of the software to all of my guests and sorting in a list of the version of the software (fullname).  However because get-vmhost | % {(Get-vue $_.ID).} Config.Product} does not include the host name in its release, I can't find a way to include the hostname in my production.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

You can do something like this

    get-vmhost | Get-View | select Name,@{N="Build";E={$_.Config.Product.FullName}} | `
    sort-object -Property Build | format-table

On the Select-Object cmdlet, you can use literals hash that will allow you to run complex expressions.

If you want the output sorted by host name, you can do

    get-vmhost | Get-View | select Name,@{N="Build";E={$_.Config.Product.FullName}} | `
    sort-object -Property Name | format-table

Or like this (which is a bit faster)

    Get-View -ViewType HostSystem | select Name,@{N="Build";E={$_.Config.Product.FullName}} | `
    sort-object -Property Build | format-table

If you imported the of a single file, you can try clicking on the display button (close to upper-right in the menu Organizer), and then click the folder in the left pane.

You could then do an instant album and they will stay in that order.

Incidentally, if you could clean your month column first, then you can use my first example. After cleaning, you should consider adding a validation on month column in order to eliminate the months not valid (a perhaps check constraint).
Also avoid using common words (e.g. month) of the reserve under the column names. :)

  • The month names of the missing events calendar...

I recently syched my Google calendar that contains events, but events appear only in the day or week on the calendar view. Is there a way to show that a day contains an event using the month view? I tried what allows to disable some calendars, but nothing appears in the month view in all. The only way to get an event to display in the calendar month view was entering a new event, and then it shows a gray bar above the date in month view. Is it the same on everything everyone elses Palm Pre?

in the monthly view, you should get a gray bar when you have an event for that day. Events more you have the more bars. If you have an all-day event it will not give you a bar however.
